I am willing to admit that I am an old guy but still working at being able to maintain a 3 minute mile on a varied course bike route. I am close at about 3:15/mile for 10 miles. I try to do about 10-15 miles/day but work and other stuff can interfere.

Long time season ticket holder (4 tix: 2 clubs & 2 lower bowls) from VA. We average about 6 games/yr. Usually try to fly as I have plenty of FF miles from work. I have family in WNY as well and use the game trips for visit time with the family.

If your travel permits, my suggestion is to go to Gabriel’s Gate but get there when it opens so you & your son can get a seat at the bar. Great wings and other local specialties. A unique place as well.

The 85th birthday celebration for Jorma Kaukonen will be held at Carnegie Hall on Nov 29. He is still playing amazing well and special guests will be joining him. Recommend “The Yogurt Shop Murders” documentary on HBO. It’s 4 episodes. Grisly murders that are still unsolved. Inept investigation and protocol that have haunted the victims and accused families and destroyed the accused lives.

I have to be honest that I chose an ebike before hitting Ventoux. It was difficult even with an ebike. I might still be pedaling with a regular road bike. One item I recall is how dry it seems going up that mountain and you have to continually drink a lot of water even though you may not be sweating much. I helped treat a couple of riders that collapsed when they reached the peak lookout. They were dehydrated. i have more respect for the condition the riders are in.

Yep, with it every day! Always enjoy the TdF as it also provides good ideas where to visit on the next EU trip. I hope Jonas is just keeping pace for now and will try to catch Tadej in the mountains. Thet will make the tour more interesting. We rode for a week on the Tour last year and also did Mont Ventoux. Had to compete partial stages before the actual riders started. I just reviewed my PSL Contract and nothing regarding the resale of tix. There is language about the resale of PSLs. i spoke with the reps at my PSL sale event and specifically asked about ticket resale and they said no restrictions.

Peacock has Tour de France 2025 exclusively for the US. Plenty of people, including me, have it just to watch the TdF. Now I can also use it for some NFL games.

I have season tickets but I never go. I try to give them to someone else or donate them.

Get ahead of others and book hotel room for every weekend except weekends 1 & 3 and cancel those after you find out for sure.
