  2. The OP makes good points and so do others. However, the NFL ratings this year are at a nine year high. https://ministryofsport.com/nfl-tv-ratings-surge-to-nine-year-high/#:~:text=The NFL has recorded its, weeks of the 2024 season. Interesting point about MLB made above. This postseason I have watched more baseball than in recent years. I was a baseball fanatic when young but they lost me when teams can spend whatever they want on salaries. Ruins competitiveness. 3 of the 4 teams currently in the MLB playoffs are the top three in salary expense. I will dump the NFL if salary cap parity is also removed. I may be incorrect but I believe there are several players on the current teams still in the playoffs that make more $ than the combined salary of some MLB teams.

We are going on Nov 6. Picked up tix in May. Live in VA and taking Amtrak and spending the night close to the garden. Looking forward to this show.
  4. Very rarely do I purchase or wear any regular clothes with a logo on it. Bills sports gear is special case. When someone pays me to wear their logo then I might consider it. I can usually find other non designer apparel that is better quality than most logo apparel (Hilfiger, Lauren, etc.).

  7. I typically see a good proliferation in the mushroom kits and spores that I purchase.

  9. Managing fire alarm pulls in that hotel would be a full-time job late Sat evening/very early Sun morning.
  10. The Pats, and now the Chiefs, have had long stretches being at the top without needing a crummy season to restock the roster. This should not be a necessity for the Bills.
  11. Did you purposefully turn this into a GILF?
  12. This was published yesterday and placing it here. Admins can move it or perhaps a separate topic. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5797292/2024/09/26/bills-front-office-moves-orchard-park/ Some excerpts if unable to view: With a new stadium being built across Abbott Road and owner Terry Pegula moving closer to selling a portion of the team, the Bills needed to add to their executive leadership team after years of upheaval and front-office chaos. The Bills hired Milwaukee Brewers executive Jason Hartlund as chief commercial officer and Major League Baseball executive Kate Hussmann as chief strategy officer. As senior vice presidents, they will join chief administrative officer Josh Dziurlikowski and chief legal officer Terry Gilbride and report to executive vice president and chief operating officer Pete Guelli. The Bills have grand plans for their Orchard Park campus once the stadium is complete. They want to host the 2028 NHL Winter Classic to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the event’s launch in what was then known as Ralph Wilson Stadium. The Bills have submitted a request to host the NFL Draft in 2028 or 2029. Just four and a half years ago, the Bills had eight executive vice presidents and one senior VP. The Bills now have five senior VPs and one executive VP (Guelli). He said there won’t be any more additions to the Bills’ leadership group.
  13. Wade went to Saint Mary’s University College i figured you would have this player right away.

  16. Yes, that’s a bit expensive. Though sometimes I do things for fun & entertainment and ROI never enters into the equation.

Thanks for that! Going to see them on Wed night in DC.
  18. The MNF game vs Jags will probably be the only home game we cannot travel to attend. Instead, we are going to meet our sons & their wives and other friends at Richbrau Brewery in Richmond, VA. The owner is from Lockport and a Bills fan & it’s a Bills bar. If any Bills fans in the RVA area are interested: https://www.richbraubrewing.com The answer to the OP’s question should be evident.
  19. 34-10 home team victors Smoot goes off against his former team
  20. I have posted many replies in this topic since Feb/Mar and tired of restating the same again. But this is now 80 pages long and a lot for someone to meander through. My 2024 invoice for club seats: $8068 or $4034/seat 2026 East Club is $5200/seat which is a 29% increase which I thought was reasonable PSL is $20k/East Club seat or 3.84 times ticket price
  21. I signed for my East Club PSL seats back in March and just looked at my agreement when I read your numbers. Neither of the values you stated above are correct and not really even close to that. Whoever is supplying the figures to you is not true for my seats. I am not going to state my values but just informing you those are not valid.
  22. Hoping this means they bring back David Wallis who was one of their last cuts. He had a tryout a few days ago with the Bears. Wallis is from Randolph Macon College, a Div III school just a couple of blocks from where we live. It would be an amazing story for a Div III player to make an NFL roster.
  23. This was another odd game during the drought. 3 Jags turnovers and 0 Bills turnovers.
  24. I do not have a good story to share…yet. But your tale is quite the odd coincidence. I have a question. Though I have worked and lived for short spells in Singapore, Bali, China, and Japan, I have not had the opportunity to visit Melanasia. Though Fiji is easier to access from the US, we were also considering French Polynesia. How would you compare these two areas? My wife comes from a French family so is fluent and that was one of the reasons leaning toward FP though we are still open to suggestions.
  25. Depends where you are staying but I abhor traffic and avoid Abbott anywhere close to Southwestern. There are private lots on Sheldon Rd (parallel and 1 block north of Southwestern) where I typically park. I approach it from Brompton Rd and turn L onto Sheldon. For the opener I got to Sheldon just before 9 am and very little traffic. Anytime after that will be a traffic delay. Always expect a delay leaving these lots. Once in a while if we did not eat much at the game, we will stop at Louie’s Texas Red Hots on Southwestern just a short walk from the stadium and get a snack and wait out the traffic.
