Just got back from Vegas after being at The Sphere and stopped at MGM Sports Book where I dropped some coin on 14:1 odds for the Bills to win the SB. I received 2 free drink tickets for placing the bet…maybe they felt sorry for me.

Saw Baldacci interviewed by SA Cosby at our local theater. Both are authors from VA. Calamity of Souls is Baldacci’s 50th novel and a different premise than his other books. Cosby’s mystery work can be a bit graphic but if that’s ok then recommend both Blacktop Wasteland and All The Sinners Bleed. Going to read Razorblade Tears next. I believe all 3 have been purchased by movie studios. A couple of other rock bios that I recently read which I recommend: Wild Tales by Graham Nash and Been So Long by Jorma Kaukonen.

Will be Indy for me as I consult for Indianapolis’ largest employer and occasionally travel there. Will try and coordinate a visit when the game occurs in Nov so my travel expenses are covered. Lucas Oil stadium is walking distance from the hotel where I usually stay.

Related to this, plenty of reasonably priced bnb places in historic area homes within walking distance of Gabriels Gate and other establishments if willing to consider places besides hotels. We are staying at bnb places in this area for a couple of games this year.

I had a great time when I went there a few yrs ago when Epenesa knocked Tua out of the game. Immediately stopped at the Hendricks table entering the stadium. Stayed at a friend’s place so no suggestions on places to stay. It rained a bit that day but our seats were far enough behind the rooftop opening that we did not get wet but plenty of people were retreating from their seats in front of us.

I work periodically in Indy so hoping I can plan biz travel around that date. Always hit the Slippery Noodle for Wed night blues when I am there.

The last bye week in 2023 was week 14, Dec 10. NFL could extend it by a week and then those four teams would have 10 days off and then 2 games in 4-5 days. The bye week would then be week 15 in an 18 week season. Kinda late or maybe just in time for a playoff run. I expect McD is blowing a gasket due to changing game prep if the Bills are one of the four teams involved.

I suspect the 4 teams being scheduled in ‘24 for Christmas are pushing back big time. Playing on Wed that late in the season is beyond factoring in bye weeks so those teams could be playing 3 games in 8-10 days. Perhaps teams are requesting to extend the bye weeks. But having a bye week that late in season may not be preferred either. In any case, scheduling Christmas games on Wed is going to impact 4 teams significantly. Gotta hope the Bills are not one of these four.

Ok if the Bills pick up another vet or udfa. They got better when they dropped #14. Got tired of #17 forcing the ball to him. The SB Champs did not have a great receiving group last year but Mahomes made it work. Josh can do the same with the improving young guys & vets that were added.

Asked this question via email to my Legends rep. She called today and stated the following: If a club seat holder turns down club seats then they will fall behind the existing stadium seat STHs priority. If there are leftover club seats after all club seat holders are contacted, then stadium seat STHs would have the option of club seats in addition to comparable stadium seats in the new stadium.

The Founder’s Club seats are heated seats and also have radiant heat overhead. Those seats and row depth are enormous. Rob could sit on Rex’s lap (nasty image) and they still would not reach the seat in front of them.

Based on @Kirby Jacksonmost recent club reservation @10 yd line, would verify section and if you and family member are good with that location then pick them up quickly before they end up being closer to the goal line.

Perhaps Mr. Brimley should have taken his own advice more seriously.
