  1. But 9 by JA.
  2. Lots of Bills fans with tix on our flight from Dulles to BUF. I saw 1 Steeler fan.
  3. For Andrews it may be hypoglycemia rather than injury.
  4. Where are these self heated club seats? I am a current club seat holder and heat for my seats comes from above.
  5. I fly quite a bit to games from RIC & return Sun evening for work & availability on Mon. There are no direct flights to RIC from BUF but have been taking the last United (~7:45 pm) flight which they have operated for quite awhile. It works perfectly. I relax after the game and leave about 6:30-6:45. By this time traffic has cleared so 25 min trip. I have TSA pre-check so quick thru security. It is one of the last flights departing BUF so lines usually fine even if no TSA pre-check. Usually make a connection through IAD or EWR and arrive in RIC by 11. This late connection through a hub works well for arriving at other US cities on Sun evening. I just did a quick check for Sun, Sep 12 for BUF-ATL on United and depart BUF 7:45 pm and arrive ATL 11:55 pm. I have no financial association with United but I am a preferred traveler on their airline from other business related travel and use them quite frequently. Bottom line: this approach has worked well for a stress-free result in catching a Sunday night flight after a 1:00 game.
  6. I have driven my car several times from central VA to WNY over the last 6 months including twice in the last month and have always found empty slots at different superchargers along the way. I usually charge with enough miles so if that supercharger was disabled (like you point out) I could make it to another. The recently added notification when suoercharging that an idle fee will be charged after completion will assist in keeping charging slots available.
  7. This has been discussed previously in other threads but the Bills already include PSLs in their club seats. Certainly, it would be higher with a new stadium but this has been happening for a while.
  8. Yes, that’s true. But blood sugar for a healthy, non-diabetic will return to normal value two hours after a meal. If you have diabetes, your body doesn’t make insulin (type 1 diabetes) or doesn’t respond to it normally (type 2 diabetes). That can leave your blood sugar too high for too long. Over time, that can damage nerves and blood vessels and lead to heart disease and other problems. You can pick up a glucometer and some test strips and document your blood sugars at various times after a meal to determine when/if it returns to normal and discuss these values with your physician. An endocrinologist is typically more familiar with diabetes than a GP.
  9. I do not understand this at all. This makes absolutely no sense. I am interested in any reputable clinical studies supporting this. Extremely high blood sugars over a significant range of time will lead to weight loss but there are far more healthier ways to accomplish this. If metformin is resulting in side effects, perhaps you can discuss using an SGLT2 inhibitor like Jardiance with your doctor. The link below summarizes various clinical study results pertaining to Jardiance such as promoting weight loss and offering renal and cardiac protection. I have no association with Lilly who manufactures Jardiance. https://www.goodrx.com/blog/surprising-benefits-of-jardiance-the-type-2-diabetes-drug/
  10. Was that a fasting test? If so, then, it appears you have Type II. Has there been any recommendations for diet/exercise and/or medication like metformin or an SGLT inhibitor like Jardiance?
  11. That may no longer be an issue as Tesla opening their superchargers to other EVs: https://apple.news/A9FyYHrOHT1S_1Z9IyEEA6Q
  12. Another link (posted today) regarding better, less expensive battery technology. https://apple.news/AKufT3jFIQxC7tCu4SMGzJA
  13. Do you mean better materials from other companies producing EVs? i purchased a Tesla because I could afford it and there is no scheduled maintenance save brakes/tires. And less maintenance on brakes due due to regenerative braking. It’s also fun and can crush any muscle car off a stoplight. Hydrogen fuel is a great idea but I cannot wait 10 years to purchase a vehicle. Nikola is having a heck of a time producing their vehicle. Current battery technology is being quickly updated and Tesla is purchasing those patents and/or already collaborating with those organizations. https://www.google.com/amp/s/techcrunch.com/2021/05/04/tesla-taps-tiny-startups-tech-to-build-cheaper-cleaner-batteries/amp/
  14. Adding another link to a recent tweet that Musk sent about opening up their supercharger network to other EVs. If you are shopping around for an EV, now you are able to access a supercharger when on long drives. Just make sure the EV’s battery has the capability of supercharging. No one wants to wait for hrs to charge their battery when on a long trip. My perspective for Tesla supercharging is the cost is about 2/3 the expense for gas for the same # of miles. https://apple.news/Am-9ClVCkRuu7XJKJNhNqGQ
  15. I disagree a bit with this perspective. For Tesla, it seems their initial vehicle rollout may have QA issues(minor panel alignment, paint consistency, etc.). I waited about 6 months until they had corrected this before I ordered. When my Y was delivered at the dealer, I reviewed it with a checklist from a Tesla forum and there were only 2 very minor issues which the dealer tech immediately fixed. Virgil - this is a great forum for Tesla buyers: https://teslamotorsclub.com/tmc/#tesla-vehicles.47 I believe it is the other way around. There is a Tesla dealer/service center in Henrietta but none in Buffalo.
  16. Here’s a pic of my Y. Painted the rims to match the matte black on rest of car. Upgraded the calipers. Photo after PPF and ceramic coating were applied.
  17. The outside temp certainly has an impact on mileage range. The colder the outside temp, the more range is decreased. The EPA range was calculated in optimal conditions (flat surface, ~75 degrees so thst neither AC or heater is on) just like other cars.
  18. That was what I chose based on route planner (ABRP or Tesla) app. I would say it’s more interactive in determining stops. There are 1k superchargers across the US. I try to plan my stops after 3-4 hrs of driving. The Y long distance I have has 320 mile range. But you do not drive it down to 0 just like you do not drive an ICE until gas is empty. I usually have 40-80 miles left in battery when I stop.
  19. I picked up a Y last year. Most enjoyable car I have ever owned. Comfortable, fun driving, nice looking. I live in Central VA and just drove it the 2nd time up to Buf. 2 supercharger stops, 1 in Gettysburg and the other near Corning. Superchargers have been strategically located near retail establishments such as Sheetz, Panera, Dunkin Donuts, etc. Pull in & plug in and go to the restroom, get a drink or snack & stretch my legs. 20-25 mins later I take off. Stops are usually after 3.5-4 hrs of driving which works out well for me for breaks. Fortunately, they are free L2 chargers within walking distance of my house so I am not paying anything for charging unless I am on long trips and supercharging. Imo, the Y would be small for 7 seats. You may want to consider the X. I believe an update later this year for that model. Feel free to ask more questions or IM. Some slick things: Sentry mode for security scanning by Tesla car cameras when parked, Pet/Child mode to keep interior comfortable when you are away briefly, over the air updates to fix or improve the car.
  20. I have a question about the pronunciation of LeRoy…actually Le Roy. Do you find most people pronounce it lee-roy with emphasis on first syllable or use a French pronunciation of the name with a short e and emphasis on the second syllable?
  21. Damn…I live in Va but was just at Creekside this past Fri for a HS reunion. I had a Bills cap on…should have glanced into the kitchen.
  22. Kinda like the rest of us on TBD….😁
  23. Eligibility rules: Franchises are not required to be included as potential "Hard Knocks" participants if they 1.) have a first-year head coach, 2.) have made the playoffs in the last two seasons, or 3.) have appeared on the show in the past 10 years. Teams are, however, also allowed to volunteer for inclusion. I suspect Jerry, being Jerry, always volunteers the Cowboys. Makes me appreciate Bills ownership even more.
  24. Fairly simple to keep spectators away at a stadium or arena. What other sporting event is 2,000+ miles long?
