Divisional Round tickets going on sale tomorrow (1/10)
Mr Info replied to RiotAct's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The account holder has to purchase the tix. However, the account holder does not have to attend the game. But, in that case, one of the attendees must be able to access the acct. -
Bills fan playoff Game 1 Attendee thread

First world problem...it is a Tesla Y. The nearest dealer was 3 hrs away in Pittsburgh. Correct, a mid-nasal swab is what we received yesterday...not the brain scratcher. -

Kinda crazy story. Season ticket holder in VA that had enough priority to snag 2 tix. My wife and I left VA ~8 am yesterday morning for our C19 at the stadium at 7 pm Thurs night. New car (< 2k miles) ran into an issue in Phillipsburg PA (~2 pm) and we pulled into a Sheetz. That was it for the car...not going anywhere after troubleshooting with their tech dept. Called a dealer but 2-3 hrs for tow. Spoke with the tow company and worked out where I would hide key until they could arrive since waiting for them would result in missing the test. Meanwhile, my wife is calling rental car companies. Most did not have any but finally found one at State College airport about 25 miles away in wrong direction to Orchard Park. There were no rental cars anywhere closer. But getting there would be an issue. Phillipsburg is a small town and no Uber/Lyft/taxi. So we started asking Sheetz customers outside parking their cars offering $ for transport. Encountered some squirrely characters but finally found some kind fellow who would. Moved all of our items from our car into his somewhat older vehicle and were off to the airport. A very mellow nice guy and when we got to the airport he refused my $ and I tried hard to make him take it but he asked for us ‘to pay it forward’ which we will certainly do many times. We got on the road and GPS indicated our arrival at 7:25 pm. I did my best Andretti impersonation on 219 non-highway sections passing trucks which led to several gasps from my wife. Ended up arriving at 7:10 and were able to get our tests. Immediately went over to O’Neills for some drinks. -

Aight....who's got tickets?
Mr Info replied to The Firebaugh Kid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was not too pleased with this either as I live in VA but I am working remotely during the pandemic so I can work while in WNY. I was able to procure 2 tix due to seniority. Always enjoy returning to Buffalo so will find some good eats & things to do even during pandemic impact. I have parents & sisters in the area so can stay with them. -
I can share what is related to this in the FAQ. Tickets will be limited to one pod per Season Ticket Account. The person who makes the purchase of the ticket pod will be responsible for coordinating all ticket holders within the pod, since the ticket scanning process for entry will be done via the ticket purchaser's mobile device. The person who makes the purchase of the ticket pod will be required to provide the legal name as it appears on government issued identification, email address and certain contact information (e.g., date of birth; mobile number) for all members of their ticketed pod as part of the testing process. Tickets will only be accessible through the Season Ticket Member's account of the ticket purchaser. With ticket forwarding not permitted, ticket pods will need to come to the gate together at their designated time. Parking passes will be provided to the person who makes the purchase of the ticket pod.

In VA as well. Guy checked with state & local ordinances before doing it. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.wric.com/news/virginia-news/virginia-man-uses-flamethrower-to-clear-driveway-of-snow/amp/ -
I agree w 1st statement but not the 2nd. If Bills beat Pats* then Bills & Steelers are both 12-3. It seems if Bills lost to Fins and Steelers beat Browns then 2nd seed goes to the Steelers. All other scenarios in finale would give Bills the 2nd seed.

Sunday Ticket anti-trust lawsuit revived
Mr Info replied to JOE IN HAMPTON ROADS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As others have mentioned upstream, I wish streaming were a regular option or there was granular purchasing of just your team’s games. But that is not available. People can B word & moan about this being unfair and justify appropriating the broadcast for free because ‘these companies are making enough money’ but, fundamentally, that is stealing. Fortunately, I am able to afford Sunday Ticket. I hope eventually there are other options so more out-of-market people can watch their team for a reasonable price. -
Sunday Ticket anti-trust lawsuit revived

I do not agree with this or the original poster. Is Sunday Ticket expensive? Sure but Directv/ATT agreed to pay the NFL an exorbitant amt of $ (which, incidentally, is up for renegotiation every few years). They own it and can charge whatever they want. Whether Directv is losing customers or the Sunday Ticket broadcast can be illegally snagged is completely unrelated. If it’s too expensive then tough. This is an entertainment option not something that is required. -
RIP, Sir Sean Outstanding in ‘Name of the Rose’ for which he won a BAFTA.

I thought ‘no way’ when I glanced at the premise. But I read a little mire about it & decided to give it a shot. Two episodes in and both wife & I are hooked...good production, cast, & story. -
Week 5: Bills at Titans on Tuesday Night Football
Mr Info replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It appears this may not be true. It looks like the NFL negotiated SB for any weekend in Feb. https://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Journal/Issues/2020/04/27/Leagues-and-Governing-Bodies/NFL-schedule.aspx “Specific conversations have occurred with Tampa hosts about delaying the Super Bowl by one week to Feb. 14, but a source said the last two weeks of February are in play as well.“ -

The NFL may not be able to move the Super Bowl date but could they possibly move the playoffs out a week and leave one week between Conf championships & Super Bowl. Use this to allow for any rescheduled games? -

It is possible that he may not have been shedding virus or shedding enough during the game to infect anyone. -
