  1. PW will be a Bill! JJ on the other hand, is the big question mark.....
  2. They tried. His agent would not bite. There's only so much you can do...
  3. He started what 11-12 games? You say "only" 10, but he was among the leaders in that category.
  4. People forget also that the largest part of the reason for TD leaving Pitt when he did was a power struggle over Kordell. TD wanted to go with another option. Cowher wanted to keep him on as starter. So we brought him in last year to be a #3. Big Deal....
  5. Hey, one thing you can't argue with is the man has got some sack, and is a stand up guy....
  6. Good post DM. It needed to be stated......
  7. Yes, he would have (and should have) still been the starter if he played well and won vs. Pitt. Unfortunately he did not....
  8. - Ibanez ArtCore AS83 - Ibanez Roadstar II - 1956 Gretsch Country Club Picture - Yamaha Compass series Acoustic - Fender Twin (tube version) - Digitech RP 7 floor module
  9. BRING BACK MATT KOFLER!
  10. It certainly is much better than last, and I doubt a single poster here other than you would disagree with that.
  11. The O-line is better than you give it credit for. We obviously need to address Jennings (either way) and possibly upgrade left guard... the rest is working much better than this time last year. What you're saying about common sense doesn't make sense to me. I cannot agree that they were starting to click (although I would have if the O produced vs. Pitt) but I do think they improved significantly over 2003. I'm not ready to say we can win more games than last season with JP, but I'm also not ready to say that he can't do just as well at the helm. The rest of the team is primed and fully capable of producing victories. And these guys can no longer sit on the bench for 2 and 3 years...
  12. Yes Drew managed the game well enough to positively affect the team in about 3 or 4 games last year. That sounds about right to me. And I'd agree with you that he cost us 2 or 3. The game vs. Pitt was his make or break opportunity and we know what happened there. I wish he had palyed better that day, but he didn't. I was pulling for him though...
  13. Come now Sue. 1 Win??? Our ST, Def and running game alone can win us 5-6 games...
  14. You seem to have as much irrational, mind-clouding dislike for JP as the Bledsoe crusaders do toward him.
  15. Doesn't Reese make like a mil as well? I agree that he would be the man to cut. As BNYC points out, his (PP's) special teams play is quite good. He also has a knack for Blitzing well in certain lineup-determined situations. He is not anything but a just below average safety but he does play both safety positions.
  16. That's well stated. The debates and discussion have definitely gone on internally already....
  17. Take off the blindfold John. Moulds has never been afraid to go over the middle.
  18. Moss and Moss would be a bit scary I must say ... He may also be trailing another player on our own team next year. You're probably familiar with our young Mr. Evans.
  19. Fact- there is not an AFC East WR who receives more double coverage and/or draws the opponent's top corner EVERY time than Moulds. Opinions are fun, but the answer lies right there.
  20. PW, in my mind, is as close to a lock to re-sign as can be for a UFA. The reasons mentioned above , along with his amazingly consistent perfomance on the D-line make him a continued value to the franchise...
  21. Hell, I'd even be content with a split at this point
  22. Well put... You have said it as I felt it as well. Although I didn't dislike him until he divided our locker room.
  23. In a hypothetical land where all salaries are equal, I'd bet with great confidence that if a pool of AFC East WR's were to be chosen Moulds would be the first picked by the AFC East teams.
  24. I would love to see Bubba Franks as a Bill as well. And no , JJ isn't a "top" tackle but he's better than simply average as well, plus continuity is a big issue with offensive lines. I'd prefer keeping him over not, but if not it wouldn't be the end of the world....
  25. Thankyou, that's more appropriate
