  1. To me it all comes down to blitz pickup then. We know how Travis does in this area but how does Thomas do? Anyone?
  2. IMO the A-train would be a far superior backup to Garrison Hearst. He can actually play on first and second down if needed....
  3. The high road would have been a difficult one to take, considering it was a media session and the reporters were asking question after question about the Henry trade situation... I'm on record as interpreting "no offers" as "no offers of substance", but that's just me
  4. It's still available. You just have to wait in the download que shown on the bottom of the page.... (after clicking on the Free download program)
  5. I know he has been working a lot on speed training this off-season. He works a lot at the UM facilities from what I hear....
  6. Look who's in the freezer... Uncle Ebeneizer! ..... ok nobody's gonna get this
  7. I remember that injury! It was against Cleveland right? That was the only football injury I have EVER applauded in my life. I couldn't help it.
  8. (all picks in the 1st 3 rounds): Rohan Davey Brock Williams Jabari Holloway J.R. Redmond Dan Graham (decent player but was he worth the 21st pick overall?) Andy Katzenmoyer Jerome McDougle Billy McMullen Freddie Mitchell Quinton Caver Derrick Burgess Corey Simon (6th overall?) Todd Pinkston
  9. I agree. That anology does not work in the most basic sense of analogies. To me , as long as TD keeps doing all he can do to make this team better and manage the cap well and rely on the advice of his expert staff, he can stay as long as he wants. He provides opportunity, not victories.
  10. I have inside information that Modrak, Mularkey, Wilson, all the assistant coaches and scouts are mere pawns and puppets with no say. TD is running a dictatorship at OBD!
  11. Great post FFS... I was just looking at the roster yesterday and noticed that indeed we do have a lot of prospects to work with!... There should be plenty of options to come up with something that JMAC and the other coaches feel secure with.
  12. One might also simply infer that an "offer" consists of an offer WORTH LISTENING TO... Just a thought........
  13. He most definitely will be.
  14. Now that's some good spin!! I like it. Well done...
  15. .....Who will be playing for another team besides Detroit, or force a move with Roy Williams within 3 years and create a salary cap mess at the WR position.
  16. That's what NE and the Eagles do
  17. I believe so when refering to a lineman , although it's a little different than the "bubble"....
  18. I'd probably agree with this final depth chart although to clarify your negatives on Reed, I disagree a bit. While you are right that he drops too many passes and can't create separation (on outside routes), he is quite good after the catch and does run routes pretty well, and is a very good blocker downfield. It's gonna be quite a battle between Reed and Aiken this camp IMO...
  19. see my post right above yours... It's true believe it or not. Players with big round asses are valued more than guys with flat asses because they can distribute power with their lower body better.
  20. Yes, that would be the "power pack" or Buttocks region
  21. On that note, it's equally as funny to think that all these picks reflect TD, the individual when it's been clearly defined that Modrak, the scouts, and the coaches have a huge say in the picks and decisions that are made at OBD.
  22. It doesn't take a "super scout" to figure out that Parrish will never be a #2 WR. He will be a situational player. Comments
  23. The interesting thing to watch re: the O-line as the pre-season makes it's way to the regular season will be: Will a likely upgrade at LG and an overall upgrade in the "beef" or "short yardage push" department offset a loss of ability at LT this season? Another interesting point: Once our O-line fudged their way through the first four games last season they actually played quite well the rest of the way, giving up the fewest sacks in a 9 or 10 game span in quite some time, and paving the way for a decent running game. All this with an immobile QB. There may be something more than mere crapp to work with here after all....
