  1. Best wishes to your friend Campy...
  2. Good reply. I'd agree that this was a better draft as well. Here's one that I'd add as well from the Packers in 1995: 1995 Rd Sel# Player Pos. School 1 32 Craig Newsome DB Arizona State 3 65 Darius Holland DT Colorado 3 66 William Henderson FB North Carolina 3 73 Brian Williams OLB Southern California 3 90 Antonio Freeman WR Virginia Tech 4 117 Jeff Miller T Mississippi 5 160 Jay Barker QB Alabama 5 170 Travis Jervey RB Citadel 6 173 Charlie Simmons WR Georgia Tech 7 230 Adam Timmerman G South Dakota State and.... (Pats) 1995 Rd Sel# Player Pos. School 1 23 Ty Law CB Michigan 2 57 Ted Johnson ILB Colorado 3 74 Curtis Martin RB Pittsburgh 3 88 Jimmy Hitchcock CB North Carolina 4 112 Dave Wohlabaugh C Syracuse 6 195 Dino Philyaw RB Oregon 7 234 Carlos Yancy DB Georgia
  3. These are not the Zubaz you're looking for .... *waves hand in a circular fashion* ...
  4. That was a whole lot of information and drama to process in one episode. Wow !!
  5. A 7-0 Loss to the Beears in '79 I believe. Walter Payton flipped over our entire defensive line for the game's only score.
  6. Or maybe MW was deemed by the Bills organization to have played well based on their film reviews and showed a great deal of improvement under the watch of that pretty good OL coach....
  7. I was there in the upper deck with my Dad. He thought I was crazy wanting to stay, but we made a pact after walking out on the old Roland Hooks Hail Mary game back in like '79 or '80.
  8. I wouldn't expect Shelton to be as good as JJ was overall, but I think he'd be a slight improvement in run blocking. I wouldn't be happy if we didn't also swap 2nd's in the deal...
  9. Nice work GG. Thanks for the info
  10. This best represents what I feel has slipped by the eyes of the Henry detractors. While spending all that time telling us about his many flaws and how terrible he is, they failed to see him actually become a good pass receiver (right down to the play he got injured on last year) and improve his fumble numbers greatly over the past 2 seasons. As stated, no, he does not compare to Willis in his completeness, but his improvements have been missed.
  11. If this had a smidgeon of truth to it he would have been cut already.
  12. I'm in agreement with you about him and his potential overall for sure. What I am not in agreement with is someone who's "logic" tells him that we need to cut a guy who is playing well (given not at a pro bowl level) and who's growth only began last season under a real OL coach, high salary or not. What I'm also questioning is what makes people think that he did not attend. Nothing concrete has been put before us as of yet. And I think the media would be all over it if he wasn't there because they know basically how most fans feel, and what generates a story.
  13. If he wasn't there, don't you think the media would have latched on and exploited the story by now? Also the Bills actually feel he's a pretty good player, unlike some fans.
  14. At this rate, I'll never enjoy the fruits of my winnings
  15. Sorry I missed out guys. Sounds like it was a good time. I couldn't get my lunch switched. me = peeon
  16. Actually, he really doesn't very often to be honest. And when he does, he usually gets bowled over.
  17. I thought you were looking for a "football based" answer though, as in what about him physically or skill wise, etc. So now you're satisfied with an answer that is not based on those parameters?
  18. I do think that as a tackle, one is put on an "island" quite often, whereas while playing center (in our scheme) virtually none of your blocks are one on one, they are more chip type blocks or blitz pickups.
  19. I think Teague as a LT would do quite well against speed rushers, with his footwork, lateral movement and positioning. The problem is that I think he would get abused by larger DE's and also have trouble on off-tackle plays to his side of the formation where he may have to go man on man with a larger player....
  20. Alaska I have garnered a new level of respect for you after this comment.
