  1. Actually, he really doesn't very often to be honest. And when he does, he usually gets bowled over.
  2. I thought you were looking for a "football based" answer though, as in what about him physically or skill wise, etc. So now you're satisfied with an answer that is not based on those parameters?
  3. I do think that as a tackle, one is put on an "island" quite often, whereas while playing center (in our scheme) virtually none of your blocks are one on one, they are more chip type blocks or blitz pickups.
  4. I think Teague as a LT would do quite well against speed rushers, with his footwork, lateral movement and positioning. The problem is that I think he would get abused by larger DE's and also have trouble on off-tackle plays to his side of the formation where he may have to go man on man with a larger player....
  5. Alaska I have garnered a new level of respect for you after this comment.
  6. The money he was offered says the Bills feel otherwise. Not that you may not be right...
  7. That is certainly an interesting thought Jay. I felt very comfortable with Tucker at center when he had to play there last season. Even with an improving Teague at Center, that doesn't mean that there can't be some competition, and Tucker could give him a run for his money. Of course a lot may also depend on if we acquire Shelton too
  8. Though Anderson will not be perfect, there are three positives here with this signing that I am happy for: 1- We finally have the right attitude and "Beef" at the guard spots to implement a running game that has opponents wincing by the 4th quarter.. 2- This move completes would should be the best possible situation for Trey Teague's skill set at center, allowing him to improve yet again on his play from last year and continue to use his mobility and football intelligence while being relied on merely as a "Chipper" in pass protection. 3- The price was right for a proven road-grader who may lack a bit in pass protection.
  9. It wasn't worth all that, believe me
  10. Wasn't that term coined by "the coach" on WGR 550 ?
  11. I think it's too subjective of a topic to have a Hall of fame. People here seem to enjoy different types of posts. I , for example, enjoy x's and o's balanced discussion or debate. Posters like Simon, AKC and KTFABD intigue me the most. Many of the already mentioned posters, while they are nice/helpful/funny/witty/contributors ,etc. don't really spark the same interest as the forementioned. I don't think it would be a fair nomination based on that.
  12. Modrak works hand in hand with TD on virtually every personell based decision. They are one in the same guy. If you're blaming TD for something, you better blame Modrak as well.
  13. I'll see if I can take my lunch a bit earlier so I can make it...
  14. I'd imagine that most of the contaminants are rendered harmless during the baking or kiln part but I could be wrong...
  15. Very well said. These are facts and not a "pitty party"
  16. R Rich, I love ya and respect your relationship w/ Weiler but I can't stand the guy, and I've given the guy more than a fair amount of chances both via his articles and Radio show he was hosting. To me he is nothing more than a horse beater masked by attempts at witty dialog.
  17. That's true about the 2 way street. But the difference usually is that those who are on that other side of the street aren't lambasting players and speculating about them as people. They also don't usually throw away or disregard said player's contributions they have made to the team. In fact , they are usually "hung up" on the player's former contributions to the team and are unwilling to "let go". This may be myopic, but atleast they are civil about it. I suppose it's pick your poison though. Some will completely disregard any thing good the player has ever done and will exaggerate about their poor qualities, while others will wax on about how every player on the Bills is in the top 5 at their position.
  18. OMFG that's strikingly accurate and hilarius at the same time.
  19. This sums up the way I also feel about the situation nicely. Well Said. And I'm 100% behind McGahee.... The vultures don't even wait for the meat to begin rotting around here do they?
  20. Some experts will tell you that TE is the most intellectually challenging position on the field in football. One has to be able to read defensive schemes to determine block and release options, find gaps in defensive zones, run block, pass block, catch, run routes, and do hot reads based on blitzes.
  21. You are right, they intentionally passed on Kendall, but let's not open that can of worms again
