Don't forget to mention that the Bills (even with the hike) have the lowest average ticket price in the league.

Thanks! Good Find. (listening right now) -
It may have helped if (probable MVP) Thurman was given more than 15 carries

Moss for Moulds & any other player on our roster

Hell, I'd have to think long and hard about trading even a guy like Marcus Price for Moss, let alone Moulds and another player.... -

Improvement for 6 or so teams?

Because he doesn't want to be here: True he isn't trying anymore: No evidence of that he is a lockerroom cancer: Never has shown even the smallest inkling of this being true to protect your teenage daughters: Obsessed are we? No less than a late third IMO... -

Do we need Linebacker Depth?

Posey made some pretty good plays at times this year and showed a general improvement, but is still the weakest link on a goog LB crew. Although I don't totally agree with you on Posey Simon (I'm not sure I've been fair by watching him quite as closely as you have) , I love the methods to your madness -

Thurman's TD run off the right side in SuperBowl 25 was a very bright moment in a frustrating game. What a back he was! I always take it for granted just how good he was... -
Do we need Linebacker Depth?

That's about as well put on Posey as I've seen here. I thought I was the only one that appreciated Stamer-time I'd also like to see more of Crowell this coming preseason. He's getting pretty good on special teams but he needs to show more as a LB. I'd put Haggan in that boat too... -
Looking At The Renogiations, etc....

Why would a person say they made a mistake when they didn't ? I'm sorry you don't understand what a blocking scheme is. If I'm GM and Mcnally and MM tell me a guy doesn't fit our scheme, and the guy costs a significant amount of $, I'm not gonna make the move. You ignore plenty of presented facts about the x's and o's behind this decision. I've admitted large mistakes here before such as my one time evaluation of Travis Henry. This is not one of those times. -

You love to hear yourself say the same thing over and over don't you? You certainly haven't convinced anyone with any sense that he would have played well here in a man on man blocking scheme taking on huge interior defensive lineman by himself, getting a forward push in the running game, and allowing our already undersized center TT to play to the best of his abilities. You have never showed that he played well in different schemes as you say. Maybe you could start by describing the schemes of the teams you mentioned. Our staff as a whole ( no, again not just TD) has access to tape of every down the man has played in this league and probably college as well. They also have one of the best offensive line coaches in the league who has a plan and a very good idea of what works and what doesn't within his scheme. Did Ruben Brown work in Mcnally's scheme? Obviously not. Did Rubes make the Pro Bowl? Yes, 7 times. The proto-type you are looking for in our current scheme at Guard is a Larry Allen type, not a Pete Kendall type. We don't run lot's of finesse based running plays like the Jets and Broncos do. I'm sorry if you don't understand this, and many people don't, but thems the facts. ....and yes I have some areas in mind where I feel TD has failed over the years, but not as many as his successes. I've always felt there are plenty posters here to rip apart our management so I don't need to pile on in most cases. -

Sure he would beat out Tucker and Smith, but would certainly not be at his best in our scheme and would cost alot of $ to just be a bandaid, and would not resolve any of the continuity issues on our line. The coaches never said that the players they already had were better. I don't see very many posters saying TD was wrong for not signing him other than you. And no, there is zero possibility that a whole staff (on any NFL team) could ever make a decision such as this, weighing all the factors, and be "wrong" about it while you (or some fan) are right. Never happened. Never will. You keep asking me to back up my comments and I do. When are you going to start backing up yours with real information? I'd imagine you were once "hot on the trail" to bring in Superbowl MVP Larry Brown over to our team as well , right? -
Much like the 2001 Rams, the Bills fell prey to Belechick's scheme, and continued to throw into the teeth of a 2-5-4 defense, while the running back (Thurman / Faulk) went under-utilized and spent most of the day in pass protection. Thurm was grinding out 7 yards plus per carry but only ended up carrying the Ball @ 15 times in a game that would have made him the MVP (Bills Victory included) with 10 more carries.

Actually yes I did. 1- Undersized. 2- Poor upper body strength He's a finesse guard where we need a mauler. -

Yeah basically when a whole staff makes a decision on a player , and their combined experience in the field surpasses 140 years, I would tend to think that they made the right decision over the opinion of one guy who doesn't see the difference between the Jets OL and ours. I am not sold at all on Tucker or Smith at RG, so kill the staff there if you want, but ultimately , bringing in a player that won't be a fit long-term and paying him a high salary as a 1 year bandaid isn't a good idea either.... -

Nice example smart guy. Makes a lot of sense btw. I edited the last sentence of my post that you just quoted. I think that may be the real issue here -

Again I'm not so sure he would have helped as much as you think. Some lineman are good in any scheme , and Kendall is not one of those linemen. He is a lightweight with poor upper body strength and would be suited for a "denver-esque" (or Jets for that matter) offense that uses alot of pulling guards, traps, etc. and not the hat on hat, mostly straight ahead style that the Bills implemented. Signing a guy like that could end up hurting a team (and their scheme) more than helping it. Square peg, round hole. The guy WAS evaluated as an option, and dismissed. None of that is spin. If you don't understand the x's and o's behind certain decisions (which you don't in this case), I can see where it would be easy to simply blame the man at the top. -
Thankyou
