Miller , Mack ,Hughes etc all occasionally do it . I remember the 3rd down you're speaking of and i was a lil frustrated but it was actually good coverage and you gotta mix it up and drop ur best pass rusher sometimes. Again, i only saw this once all year with Hughes, I'm sure he has dropped more but Rex had him and Super Mario dropping a ton for 2 guys coming off double digit sacks

Improving every week , already a nightmare for opposing DCs. I loved the play where he was in a zone , saw Mariota scanning field and just accelerates at a ridiculous speed towards Mariota almost getting the sack , forcing an incompletion. You can tell Mariota was shocked at his speed and acceleration

Ya you could see it from the pre season , i didn't expect him to explode on the scene like he has . Crazy we add another playmaker to White, Hyde,Poyer , ??

He's way up there. I'm having trouble thinking of guys I'd take over Tre , he's that good

I think what we did to Minny is what we'll do to Hou .. i just don't see an effective run game and i think Watson struggles against our scheme and secondary, leading to Turnovers.

I've been saying this- he's going to be a Bill for a long time. He's a natural . With a Rookie and backup QB and totally renovated defense, it's a pretty big accomplishment

How can ppl hate McDermott? You can see the tight ship he runs, players clearly respect and love him , from day 1 I've said he reminds me of a natural head coach, this is what he's supposed to be doing . I just love his vision and the way he treats his players , i think he'll be successful for the long term . We got a gem in McD, I've said it before and I'll say it again!

They built this D basically from the ground up and it's littered with legit talent. That Dline is starting to look scary with Shaqs versatility and Phillips looks extremely explosive for a 330 pounder. Alexander and Hughes are playing outta their minds! Edmunds looks better every week , Milano is everywhere. The secondary has been banged up but still playing fantastic , so much to like about this D. I see a top 10 unit by week 17. And a d that will be good for a long time

That's a fair statement. He hasn't looked very good but i think he does enough and is such an athletic freak that we can build a successful scheme around him where he can Excel. We're 2-3 after a brutal start against 5 quality opponents, 3 on road. Let's see if Allen and Daboll can progress and adjust as the season goes on and the schedule gets a little softer..

2-2 as a starter , wins is the only stat that matters. Allen will be okay and his teammates fight their butts off for him, he came through clutch today on a game winning drive!

The way he carries himself on and off the field at such a young age , I'd say he has the potential to be Cool story. But on the bright side we have competent individuals at important positions , like GM and HC and they had a different vision. Unfortunately that included the dead cap but the foundation has been laid and the team is littered with talent and the HC and GM have a clear LONG TERM vision and I'm loving what they're putting together , I expect us to be legit contenders by next year for a very long time.

Tres different. McDermott , his teammates and the community love the kid. He's a face of the franchise type player. Ala Revis and Sherman (while it lasted) , those were very good cb but Tre has the potential to be an all time great. No chance he's not re-signed if McBeane is still here. I expect year 4 (2020) is where we lock him up long term An interesting question though, with Johnson looking like a phenomenal nickel, do we target a stud cb next year? Not many in far I see , Verret, Dennard but not many others. Do we target one high in the draft and make this the best secondary in the game?

I think we might have a future h.o.f in # 27 . He reminds me of Revis , usually on the best WR u got and QB still don't even pass his way. I loved how the announcer kept saying how u can't throw to Davis , who has been a beast, with White on him. Diggs, Adams and now Davis just blanketed by our stud , future pro bowl, all pro and possibly h.o.f.

Does any other rb make that play? It was just aspectacular move, he has a 6th Sense out there, it's incredible Well, they couldn't , we got consistent pressure with 4 and almost every blitz got to Mariota, phenomenal coaching and execution. #TrustTheProcess

Monster. I'll just keep referencing Micah Hyde , when asked about Edmunds in preparation for the Vikings (Week 3) , he said he's a future H.O.F, dead serious. Said his sideline to sideline speed is amazing, leadership and Never makes the same mistake twice.. This D will be elite for a long time
