  1. .. L Glad this thread was started, I'm actually happy we didn't add a WR .We have 4 WR (Beasley, Smokey Brown, Foster and Zay) who at least have proven they can make an impact in this league. I know ppl will trash Zay but he was the #1 WR many games , going against the best or 2nd best CB usually . He will now be matched up with much less talented CB. Entering year 3 , feel he has lots of potential and can make a jump. Don't forget about Andre Roberts who is mainly just a return man and possibly the best 1 in the game . That's 5 WR right there! They drafted Ray Ray last year , brought in McKenzie and Duke Williams and probably a couple UDFA to battle for 1 or 2 spots. Also add Kroft,Knox at TE and Yeldon who joins Shady as another great receiving RB. I don't understand why people are upset for not drafting a WR. We have the first 5 WR I mentioned that are locks to make the roster! It wasn't a need imo or at least not a big need at all. Like Beane said when asked about drafting Singletary over a WR , there was none rated higher, so he goes BPA , again , it's also not a need anyway! Plus revamping an atrocious OL is one of the best ways to improve the pass game. R-E-L-A-X He was just EXTREMELY overrated by the armchair GMs on TV and social media.
  2. Absolutely. We are deep pretty much at every position group!! It's pretty amazing really, they totally rebuilt this roster , since McD took over , only Shady, Hughes and Lorax are starting from the previous regime! I think Shaq and Dimarco are the only other players left on this roster from the Rex Regime. That's 48/53 new players on this team since early 2017, which is a total tear down and rebuild. And expectations are sky high imo. That's a great accomplishment for McBeane . They added a young , legit core - Edmunds,Allen, Tre , Milano , Levi , Taron , Foster are all impact players drafted since 17. Plus Harrison Phillips , Dawkins and Zay have the potential and are close to getting to that point and Ed Oliver, Ford and Knox likely start in their rookie year . Just phenomenal drafting , which is how you build great teams that have long term success. I love this staff. We struck gold imo and 2019 is the beginning of an era imo , which was their blueprint and vision the whole time Well I meant slot, but we can have guys fill in if needed, we are VERY talented and deep at CB . We do have Neal also at S, who is a question mark but got some play time last year and hopefully can make a jump. Also Maurice Alexander at S but he's listed as LB so I'm not sure. Either way, I'm also glad we got a S
  3. I feel he'll be used in the big Nickel package over Bush if he has a great TC. If Taron Johnson stays healthy he's a stud at the slot , but ya there's not much behind him.
  4. Crickets lol Even though he was Undrafted, Knox reminds me of the same type situation that Foster was in , as far as not having big numbers and not being the first option on his team.
  5. Plus this is a DEEP roster , so I have no problem with trading up. Especially for a player that should see significant playing time . Wouldn't mind seeing a trade up tmrw.
  6. Minimum of 3 . Kroft , Know are obviously locks. Fisher and Croom I'm not sure about. I'd really like Rudolph for a 5th. We do have 2 right? I know Dabol likes 2 TE sets . But I'm content with Knox and Kroft as our top 2 TE.
  7. McD is going to frustrate the **** outta Rosen. Force him into turnovers . I'll give him another 5 years max in the NFL. On team 2 already , Dolphins might pick a QB with the first Pick next year!
  8. I'd rather play Rosen twice a year, every year over FitzMagic. I know it was a small sample size, but so was Allen last year. I could legit see him being out of the league in 3-5 years. I
  9. The kid had 66 TD in 3 years. CFB record. The 40 doesn't mean much, it's just straight line speed , look at Josh Allen for example , he runs way quicker than his 40. How do you know it's a terrible pick?!? Some of you guys are just unhappy, negative people. McBeane and Co hasn't earned your trust!!?! You think you're a better evaluator than Buff has?!
  10. Well said! Almost sounds like they're building an offense specifically tailored to Allens strengths! I'm telling ya , kid is going to make a big time jump. Cause defenses headaches. Quietly built a sneaky good O. Wouldn't be shocked if they're top 12 or better
  11. Um Ok?! Your football iq is a bit on the low side. Its not like we added 2 proven veteran WR in FA to to compliment Foster , Zay . Also Ray Ray ,Duke ,McKenzie on the bubble. Our WR Corp week 1 in 19 compared to 18 will be night and day!!! We did overhaul WR. RB can be found Undrafted but this is McDs 3rd draft and first RB they drafted. In the last 2 yrs a bunch of very good - great RB came from Rd 3! Oh and WR can be found Undrafted as well. Our very own Robert Foster was the best rookie WR in the last 8 games! I guess you know how to build a team better than Buffs staff?!?
  12. Why!?! He was BPA on their board I bet. We don't have many holes at ALL. He probably is red shirted , gets to learn behind 2 HOF. Last year we had Keith Ford starting at one point. Depth this year, probably inactive on most game days . Big role in 2020
  13. BPA man. He might be used very limited this year but we have no glaring holes or depth issues, so have that luxury. Gets to learn from 2 future H.O.F RB . Look at his numbers. 66 TD in 3 years. Most in CFB history, so he obviously has talent . I'm liking this pick alot.
  14. Makes me even more proud to be a fan of this franchise
  15. BPA coming Let's go Beane!! I predict S or TE
  16. Of course I just sent a long response to a previous post just before realizing this guy is a troll or just a miserable, negative guy. ?
  17. I think he was doing his due diligence . First off, Cole is literally one of the best slot WR in the game. Watch some of his tape. Smokey Brown is a great complement to Allen, lightning quick , great at tracking down the deep ball and was having a great season before Lamar stepped in , who averaged 150 passing ypg . If Kroft stays healthy and can get close to 2017 form, he's a very capable weapon at TE Yeldon is an elite receiving back. Robert Foster had one of the best final 8 games in the league , as an Undrafted rookie!! Zay is only going into year 3! Made big improvements last year , had Tyrod , Peterman and rookie Allen throwing to him. No reason he doesn't make a big time jump in year 3. Ray Ray, McKenzie entering year 2 . Duke Williams with potential. We have weapons!! And a good OL makes the QBs job that much easier, which makes the weapons that much better! I don't understand the negativity , we absolutely upgraded our weapons, no question.
  18. You already forgot about Cole Beasley, Smokey Brown ,TJ Yeldon , Gore ,Kroft and the best return man last year in Andre Roberts?? Oh and still have Foster who has tremendous upside , Zay (I still like Zay and feel he makes a big jump in year 3), McKenzie,Duke Williams,Ray Ray to battle out the last spot. And Shady who is still very elite in pass game. Our weapons week 1 this year compared to week 1 last year will be night and day!!!
  19. Even if they're average , that'd be an enormous improvement over last year!! This line is suddenly talented with plenty of depth
