That too. But the Jax OL is man handling their guy from the start. I do think it could be a hangover from the bye and holiday -

I'd prefer a loss, as long as Allen shows progress.. -

I caught that too. He's Soo good. I truly believe he's a top 3-5 cb. And he's an amazing teammate off the field. Just a stud -

Wow... Dabolls play calling with this new WR combination has been amazing. They thought Ray Ray would be what McKenzie has been since last week. Allen looks poised ! Ramsey got rekt by Benjamin, then Zay on the block!!! Future looking bright. -

Would you rather be the 3-7 Bills or 3-7 Jags?
JerseyBills replied to KingRex's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bills by a mile... Jax has the most expensive active roster in the league, Bills have the cheapest. Jax - 187million Bufffalo - 122 million 65 million dollar difference! And we have the exact same record. I'd rather be the Bills and it's not even close , our futures are going in the opposite directions.. -
McKenzie looks like a potential steal . Looked superrrr dangerous everytime he touched the ball. It'd be awesome if he can be a reliable option for the future. I feel they drafted Ray Ray for the role McKenzie will be playing , a smaller, quick WR that can make huge plays from anywhere on the field. Jet sweeps, screens ,etc.. Able to move him around the field , extremely versatile, I think he's only 5'7 , excited to see how he's looking this week And ya I feel they've liked Wallace, kept him stashed on the practice squad but he wasn't ready til now

I can't imagine that O doing much of anything , especially at New Era . Bottom line - we're set on D a couple years minimum, it all comes down to Joshua Allen on offense. Just imagine if he has a great showing versus that defense. Board will go bananas for a 4-7 team. This is the most excited I been for a 3-7 Bills game... Very interested to see if he shows progression after a few weeks to sit back , review his game film , and see if he can correct mistakes and process the game faster. He has a legit vet mentor too, I'm cautiously optimistic. Also we can turn the temperature wayyyyy up on St Dougs seat if we handle Jax. Stadium should be rocking..

Except the Jags have the most expensive active roster and the Bills have the least expensive , by design of course , for both teams. They currently have a roster worth 62 million dollars more than the Bills , so that is a huge variable in your statement. Basically , the Jags were all in entering the season and Bufffalo was in year 2 of a 3 year rebuild . Hackett couldn't hack it in Buff and has been extremely inconsistent in Jax, I understand Bortles is trash but they obviously felt they could win with him and Hackett hasn't seemed to help at all. I think both him and St Douglas seats are extremely hot , as well as their GM , who has relied mainly on FA , I don't see many 1st or 2nd year guys having much of an impact . Buffalo on the other hand has drafted extremely well since aquiring McD and next year will be able to put the finishing touches on the rebuild and add a bunch of high quality talent. Jax will be in cap hell and have to start the process all over again. Sorry I got off topic a bit , but Jax is the perfect example of how not to build a team , while the jury is still out on our beloved Bills , the vision and blueprint they have for this team , long term , is starting to come together and I love the direction they are taking the franchise. I think Nate "Can't" Hackett is gone this year , followed by St Douglas around week 10 next year.

Lol yeah I started around 2 , hit the couch to have a smoke in the basement , and got a nice nap in. Feeling surprisingly refreshed ! Enjoy your night my friend

Happy Thanksgiving to my Bills fam!! Lol I fell asleep at 630 . You weren't lieing

Good post. I imagine his NFL peers look at him in a totally different way and lost a ton of respect for the guy, especially Bills players, this will hurt his name and brand for years . Pretty sad really, former legit #1 pro bowl cb to end his career on that note is sad for him . I agree on Bell too. Respect the contract . I understand his argument why he chose to do what he did but completely disagree . Bell disrespected his teammates and the Steelers organization imo

Preston Brown Lands on IR with the Bengals
JerseyBills replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Always liked Brown. We got a big upgrade in Edmunds tho , even in an up and down rookie year , I feel his pass defense alone is more valuable. Brown consistently would get burned, but he was and is a solid MLB and belongs in the NFL . He's just a little too slow -
Has the light finally gone on for Zay Jones?
JerseyBills replied to KOKO NFL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And they had a valid argument. Terrible drop percentage last year, very odd and crazy incident in off-season but I think his turn around is one of many examples of what McBeane envisions for the roster, and the type of players he wants on it. Guys that are team first , and hard workers. They moved up for him so I'm sure he checked out in those categories and he looks fantastic. I love his quick twitch route running ability. Salute to Zay for clearly working hard to improve his game when all the momentum was going the opposite direction coming into the year . Same with Shaq and to a lesser degree Foster , who looks like he made big improvements since being demoted to PS. Also salute to the staff for demanding this attitude out of these players . It's contagious . -
Thoughts on not making Anthony Lynn our HC?
JerseyBills replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess you could argue both. Had to do it to achieve their vision and blueprint of a successful team but obviously this was a choice , and they chose to do this , knowing there would be a learning curve and I'm sure they anticipated a rough season or 2 . -
Thoughts on not making Anthony Lynn our HC?
JerseyBills replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He also had a complete roster. They have talent littered all over that roster. McBeane had to gut this team so I think the comparison is a little unfair til next year , given our dead money situation. -
McDermott gave his players the boot for the Bye Week
JerseyBills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I personally never had a doubt. I think he's going to be here a long time. Just the way he communicates with his players and his ability to get the most out of very little , he seems like he was born to be a HC . -
There is no way we will beat the Jaguars
JerseyBills replied to Cygnus99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yup. They are 3-7 , just like us, for a reason. The reason being they are not very good. We played them extremely tough for 60 minutes in week 18, on the road . To suggest we have no chance is just ridiculous . New Era is not easy to win at, especially in Nov/Dec.... P.s - They have the most expensive active roster in the NFL , Bills have the least expensive. They currently have 60 million more invested in their current roster and still have the exact same record. That seat might be getting HOT for St. Douglas -
I disagree. We built this defense through the draft. They built theres through high priced FA. We gutted high profile players in exchange for draft picks to bring in very specific type of players on n off the field , including our GM and coaches franchise QB, while adding mid level contracts, like Hyde,Poyer,Murphy. Star is our highest paid defender at 10 mil a year. Yeah I was misinformed. My bad.

Bills vs. Jets Postgame and Bye Week News
JerseyBills replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Zay made the pff week 10 team of the week. Kid has 0 drops out of 40 catchable targets, after having bone of the worse drop ratios last year. Salute to him for clearly improving many facets of his game - route running, catching and awareness. He has legit #2 wr written all over him , possibly a 1b WR. -
Yeah true. I was misinformed on that statement. But just in general , they signed high profile FA , Bouye, Campbell ,Jackson , Norwell, etc , without having their QB in place. Whileall these guys are playing good football , it's not equating to Wins. Subpar drafting and again , not having a franchise QB , or maybe they thought Blake was the guy , which he obviously isn't. I just don't agree with the way they've built their roster and I see our staffs Vision and blueprint and feel they did it the right way. Now Jax needs a franchise QB or at least an upgrade over Blake and again, very little flexibility to do so in FA and not much draft capital to do so in the draft.
