NFL fines Jerry Hughes "unsportsmanlike conduct"
JerseyBills replied to WideNine's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh absolutely, among a handful of other guys.. I don't expect a penalty every time either but on crucial plays where there's a good chance Hughes would have made a difference and didn't because of a hold, ya gotta throw a flag. I know he got raped on the 2nd or 3rd TD throw . Overall i was very very disappointed with the officiating last week. -
NFL fines Jerry Hughes "unsportsmanlike conduct"

i dont blame him. the film shows him getting held on multiple plays...The guys is playing absolutely lights out, he's the most underrated DE in the game imo. He is very good against the run and an elite pass rusher, imo at least... I feel he doesn't get shown the same respect as other elite pass rushers by the refs, i don't blame him for being upset, he truly cares about this team and teammates and wants that W. Glad Hughes is a Bill -
If he continues this type of play, he will be a top 10 fantasy qb going into next year imo. And Taylor is no comparison, when Allen escapes the pocket, he can still make any throw on the field, literally. So it really puts the D in a tough situation and forces them to stay in coverage. Also, he should have a much improved OL and WR targets.

Injuries in the NFL this season
JerseyBills replied to DBilz2500's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yea Bills have stayed relatively healthy. Bodine hurts a little, not that he's that great but he's better than Groy at C and that's a crucial position. Besides Shady a couple games, Shaq and Murphy , props to the training and coaching staff for keeping this team relatively healthy. That Allen injury might have been a blessing in disguise for his progress too. Gave him a chance to look at his tape and work on the mental part of the game, which he def needed. Most optimistic, by far ive been on a 4-8 team going into next year. I'm predicting we are legit contenders by next year. -
And 2 UDFA rookies he has very little chemistry with , a guy we just released and a 2nd year WR...If Baker had this 2 game stretch with this OL and WR corps he'd be getting double the love by the media Allen is getting, they are clearly biased against him but will have no choice but to come around sooner than later.

Respect. i didnt see that post , just reacted to the one and took it out if context. Whats your thoughts on Watkins? And what is wrong with your defense!? I'd actually enjoy seeing KC represent the AFC in the SB but that D has to step up. Interested in your take on the problem and potential solution, cause i don't see them getting there unless the D steps up. Man your offense is spectacular though

Hey man , the majority of us on here calk it how we see it and aren't going to trash a guy because he's on a different team. KB was disgusting to watch , i couldn't stand seeing little to no effort on a consistent basis. Hes dead last in the league and currently has the lowest catch % for WR with 50+ targets in the last decade , at 37%. Carolina fans said the same to us and we didn't listen. All i can say is , you'll see. Don't get tour hopes up man. if you got time , watch literally any game he played this year and get back to us after that... We wanted him gone weeks ago , he's a disgrace

Marrone went for 2 up 31-12 with 25 sec to go vs Jets
JerseyBills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll be honest, i wanted Marrone to stay but ill adly eat crow , as i feel McD is the real deal and far superior HC. What a blessing in disguise that was , he is not HC material , and he clearly doesn't have a grasp on how to treat his locker room. He has the most talented D in the game but they quit on him. That would never happen with St Shaun , and now Jax must rebuild all over again and will be releasing some top end talent this off season. -
Lorax - should he be extended?
JerseyBills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
absolutely... people forget, he doesn't have many miles on those legs because he really wasn't playing on a regular basis til he came to Buffalo and he doesn't appear to have lost a step at all, as that graphic shows, he's playing tremendously as a pass rusher. He fits what McD is looking for off the field like a glove as well and with a very young team, he's a great influence in that locker room and on the field. -
i think Dallas will retain him and it isn't exactly a position of need, but i'd LOVE Demarcus Lawrence..
-
he had a few throws since last week that is just world class, elite level throwing, that a handful or less can make...what is so encouraging and why i expect him to get even better is his eye manipulation, his insanely calm poise in the pocket surrounded by chaos and the trust he has in his ability... i think it was the other Zay TD where he was rolling LEFT and delivered another perfect laser like it was nothing, to the right side of the field... other qbs simply don't have the size and strength to be able to make these type of throws....this kid has blown me away the last 2 weeks, man he can be special

Rate the rookie QB after week 13
JerseyBills replied to RPbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if the question is who has been the best so far? it's Baker hands down, but if the question is who will have the better career? it'd be very very difficult for me not to take Allen without hesitation. He has totally exceeded my expectations these last 2 weeks and i just feel his ceiling is much higher than Bakers. You compare the OL and WR corps between the 2 teams, Baker has a monster advantage. Just his size , athletic ability and arm talent are attributes Baker obviously could never match, and the progression he made in 6 weeks has been nothing short of spectacular. The way he trusts his ability is awesome, standing in the pocket til the last second , delivering lasers to any and every spot on the field, he can make throws look easy that other qbs just don't have the height , strength and power to make. i mean Allen can truly be the best qb in the game at some point if he keeps progressing and i don't think i can say the same about Baker, but he is a helluva qb and with all that said has an extremely high ceiling, just think Allens is higher.. I think we all fully expect an influx of ol and wr/te talent this offseason, i don't think it's too homerish to say Allen could take this team on a playoff run by next year, especially with this defense... the future looks bright for the bills at the qb position..strange times.. i don't know if this is my hate for the local jersey jets talking but i can see him being a total bust and a backup in 2-3 yeaars, just way too turnover prone and i just don't think his ceiling is very high..i could be very wrong...going to be interesting seeing them go head to head this week! i think our D significantly increases that # -
3-2 in games he started and finished...i think he'd win at Hou if not injured...31 points in last 5 1/2 quarters , excuse me, 30, by the Josh Allen led Offense...i'd say he's doing perfectly fine for a guy making his 7th start! Lets goooooo BUFFFFALLLLLLOOOOOO

Josh Allen Nominated for Angry Runs
JerseyBills replied to Haplo848's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was a great run. Stiff arm and a truck en route to a TD. I still give Cam the title as a runner but Allen could surpass him by next year.
