  1. Merry Xmas my man. Good to hear from you. Hope your Packers can get everything sorted out in the off season .
  2. I have been saying this since the off season , cause many folks were down on Hughes because his sack numbers fell last year. I would always argu that he got consistent pressure on the QB last year and is elite at rushing the passer and above average against the run. He's a gamer. Those pressures often resulted in interceptions or incompletions.. His sack numbers are up a bit this year but the pressure he creates is amazing, he set the all time record for pressures in a game this year vs Minny and I just came across this stat from PFF- Buffalo Bills: Jerry Hughes has produced 24 fourth-quarter pressures this year, which is the most for all edge defenders. What makes it more remarkable is the fact that he’s only had 85 fourth-quarter pass rushes. https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-stats-to-know-for-all-32-nfl-teams-entering-week-16 That stat right there is incredible to me. Just wow, He's a huge reason why we have the #1 pass D and is criminally underrated when it comes to edge defenders , Hughes is a beast , and never gets the credit he deserves on a national level and even locally, he's underrated .
  3. ???? Those numbers speak for themselves. That's pretty incredible, especially when you consider our #2 cb only recently got solidified , straight from the practice squad, Levi looks like the real deal folks and our nickel is a later Rd rookie . Incredible. Shows how great Tre,Poyer and Hyde are too . Scary part is they'll be together for 3 more years minimum!!
  4. Wow. La Canfora actually picked Buf straight up. They certainly have a legit shot with Brady and Gronk clearly not what they were and we have a legit pass D , even with our stud rookie nickel cb and stud 2nd year LB missing. Super interested in seeing Allen in Foxboro vs the Hoodie , if he has a solid showing in his 10th start , he's the ONE! By far the most excited I've ever been for a week 16 game where we're 5-9 , and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Love or hate him, there's no denying the excitement # 17 has bought to this board , because you can't deny his potential is off the charts
  5. Wondering if this means they're anticipating Daboll doesn't get a HC gig and staying ? Really Like the move though. Assuming they also feel he's a great influence on Allen
  6. Liked the decision, didn't like the play call. Loved the decision to go for the 4th down on final drive, Allen looks automatic in 4th & 1 or less. People gotta remember, this is only McDs 2nd year as an NFL HC , he's learning too and finding his groove, I'm encouraged by the aggressiveness last gm. He has been too conservative at times but I think we'll continue to see more aggressiveness as he gains confidence in Allen and this young offense
  7. True that. Well I agree with what McD has consistently said all year, it's a very young team littered with guys barely able to drink legally. They have to learn to win in this league . Some very close misses versus Hou,NY and Mia , I'm willing to give them a pass because of the promising youth and hope they learn from those close losses which I think with the character and talent, they will learn.
  8. In fairness he did his job imo in the Jet n Mia game. The ol played atrocious in those 2 and he had us up in both , with the D surrendering a last minute TD vs NY and Clay dropping a game winning pass in Mia. The Texans game he couldn't finish , so that's not on Allen.
  9. That's a great sign moving forward for such a young team. #TrustTheProcess
  10. Man I love this kid. That's the mentality and Moxy I want my franchise qb to have, def has the"it" factor
  11. I've felt this way all year. I love the blueprint n vision McBeane have. This team is being built to have sustained, long term success and I'm confident that begins next year. They have built the foundation, established a solid core and now have a ton of flexibility in FA and the draft to build on this foundation and take this team to the next level
  12. Yea, you got a point. I personally am just so encouraged by the type of throws he made and is continuing to make and the poise he shows in the pocket and of course his insane rushing ability and maybe most importantly, he trusts him arm and throwing ability, which is not common for a rookie. That was against the 11th best pass D , in terms of yards per game, and last week they held Rosen to 0 TD and a pick 6
  13. Chargers are the most complete to me, if Gordon is healthy for the playoffs. They have elite RB, QB, WR and solid OL. Elite pass rush and secondary.
  14. yea it's interesting. NE is finally hitting that wall. Gronk is done imo. Brady is starting to show his age, slowly and most importantly, they have drafted very poorly. But i feel the injury was a blessing in disguise for Allen . So i'm not to bothered by our record..Next year we'll be legit contenders, and I'll def be putting my money where my mouth is.
  15. they have the highest active roster in the league by a big margin, 60 mil more than Buf. i believe they're projected to be over the cap by 25 mil next year , so they have to make major roster adjustments . Theyve drafted very poor since Marrone/Coughlin. They'll be rebuilding next year
  16. true and also in his defense, the WR have made really tough catches against him. Sometimes you just gotta tip your hat to the offense , a great pass n catch beat great coverage
  17. he has regressed as the season progressed, Foster and McKenzie have both lapped Zay in just a few weeks , great finds by e front office! Can't believe this Foster kid wasn't even starting at Alabama. 3 straight 100 yard games!
  18. Absolutely and it's not even close imo. Obviously it's tough to judge a rookie but I look at their weak areas and ask myself if that is something that can be coached up or is that an attribute a qb needs to have to be successful. I see one too many attributes that Rosen possesses that is uncoachable , i wouldn't be surprised at all if he's a backup somewhere in 3 years, I'm not sure he's nfl material at all.
  19. I'd give Edmunds an honorable mention. Not game ball worthy but very solid play from the rook, showed some nice progression in some areas he struggled. Nice list btw, have to agree 100%
  20. If not for our D giving up 2 uncharacteristic td late in the 4th, he's 4-0 since returning from injury, including being the only qb in nfl history with back to back 200 yard passing, 100 yard rushing games. He actually had protection today and did a fine job, the stats are very misleading , as he had a few drops and a very long pass interference. Is there any question we have our Franchise QB? Not over here.
  21. That's automatic baby...is there any question we got our franchise QB?!? 4 straight games now he's played well..
  22. Tannehil stunk up the joint.. worse qb in the East
  23. Allen playing maybe his best game of the year, considering the drops and the long pass interference, rush TD, he's killing it! If this is what he looks like when he actually has time in the pocket , we are in great hands for the next decade my friends.
  24. Lets not go overboard here. They beat a below average Bronco team but i agree he has done a solid job since taking over.
