  1. Well alot is riding on the upcoming off-season and Beane needs to make the right choices and contract decisions, as well as continuing to draft good but you can see the vision they have for this team and have laid a phenomenal foundation imo and after gutting the team have built it back up the right way . I anticipate long term, sustainable success , the way the roster has been built and trust this staffs decision making ability.
  2. That team is a perfect example of how not to build a team. Currently have the most expensive active roster , a roster worth 60 mil more than Buffalo. They'll be in cap hell for a couple years and have to rebuild all over again. Bet they're loving that Dareus contract ?? Buffalo on the other hand has designed the team to be able to sustain long term success . As for Ramsey, I wouldn't touch him with a 10 foot pole .
  3. Is Lorax a FA this upcoming off-seaso? If so we need him back for his leadership and performance on the field. Dude is a beast!!
  4. Still gotta see what we got in Foster, McKenzie,Ray Ray and Teller. I also think Miller or Mills sticks on the OL , as well as Dawkins obviously
  5. Highly unlikely but like you said , not that unrealistic. I think the defense closes out the year ferociously if we can get a consistent offense going and stranger things have happened in this league. Good post! Stay optimistic my friend and let's gooooooooo Buffffffalllooooooo
  6. Great points. The staff get a great look at Allen,Teller,Foster,McKenzie , Marcus Murphy, Croom , Ray Ray on O . D is really stacked . Both Phillips are good, we get to see how Ryan Lewis and Levi Wallace fit. How Trent Murphy finishes. If Shaq can continue to play really solid football. Is Lorax a FA after this year? I know he's 35 but remember he doesn't have many miles on him at all and hope he's a Bill next year. He's playing good ball. Just as a situational pass rusher even .
  7. Nice post op. I think we really have to revisit it after the season With Foster looking much improved out there and a potential legit deep threat, Zay , who I've said all year is much improved in route running, catching and awareness and can be a legit #2 , possibly even a 1B option and McKenzie who looks lethal with the ball in his hands, yes it was one game, but we gotta see how these 3 young guys finish and if they can be contributors for the future. McBeane seem to like bigger, possession WR as well, which we'll be lacking, I could see Sanu or Marvin Jones targeted. And/Or a 2nd-3rd rounder in the draft. Could also see him trade for a WR. I would have loved Cooper for example.
  8. Thanks to Beane we are in a position to go bpa and I still think we have a shot at Oliver
  9. Not ONE RB in this league would put up good numbers with the Pass game Shady played with. 8-9 in the box on a regular basis , with zero respect for the pass game. Last week , with a solid pass game , Shady looked electric. His cutting ability is still the best . That spin move was straight outta Madden. The TD run , he showed great speed to beat the S to the end zone. He's a leader, captain, loves this team and an ultimate gamer that hasn't lost 1/10th of a step. I feel the complete opposite. I want him on this team for at least 2 more years, he's a rare playmaker and deadly in the pass game too.
  10. Last week proved to the world Shady is still elite as they come. It almost looked like he gained a step! First game all year where he had a legit pass game the defense had to respect and he looked phenomenal. Anyway, I've been saying since last year , the way he runs , ability to avoid big hits will prolong his career way further than the typical RB . Also , Reid,Kelly,Rex and M D have all praised his work ethic , so he's going to put in the work for sure. I think he has 2-3 years as a legit #1 and a cpl years as a very nice compliment. You rarely see him take the big shots that 95% of NFL RB take. Very smart out there , for example, he'll go out of bounds after a 1st down , versus taking on a S or LB for an extra yard or 2. He's a rare talent.
  11. Especially their OL and DL . The trenches become even more crucial in Dec/Jan and Pitt probably has the best OL in the game and a very very good DL. They definitely are legit contenders imo. NE is very beatable and KC just seems to collapse in the post season under Reid.
  12. The ATL game scares me personally. Yes they're better at home but Dal just got a huge road win , in a similar situation this week and looks like Cooper and Zeke can be a huge headache for defenses. ATL and Dal have just been so inconsistent . But I see your logic and think it's a solid pick. Personally, I'd go with the more consistent team in N.O or Pitt who has seemed to hit their stride after a rough start to the year
  13. Yup. We'll have an idea by the end of this season but won't have an answer til next.
  14. I totally see why you feel this way. In survivor pools though, especially this deep, I would personally never risk it on a 2-7 team, 1-4 at home , with a rookie QB with 6 TD and 8 int .. But I got knocked out in week 7 , so what do I know
  15. Exactly. They were in really bad shape last week and then Darby goes down. I just don't see how this current Eagles defense can contain a red hot Saints offense . A close second to me would be Pitt. They had a bit of a rough start to the season but have really found their stride and Jax seems like it's quitting on St Doug. Good luck man.
  16. Yup. I'm excited to see him with a More speedy WR corps. He just missed Foster on a couple bombs , but Foster looks like he worked hard and got coached up on running those deep routes. McKenzie looks super dangerous with the ball in his hands and has great speed. Thompson is back. Zay looks like the guy we expected to get when we moved in the 2nd Rd. I also think these players allow Daboll to run his scheme how he envisioned it to look and make defenses respect the deep ball, which opens up the run game .
  17. Allen now has 2 or 3 (McKenzie) deep threats. Hope to see some 70 yard bombs! Welcome back Deonte
  18. It really is! I feel the exact same way. Carpenter was very good and I had confidence in him but that only lasted one year. Hau$ch is on a different level , we really lucked out, especially with alot of teams struggling to find guys that can consistently hit 40 yarders.. He's one of the most important weapons on this team going forward when you really think about it
  19. I didn't know that was the reason.. Interesting
  20. It's still mind boggling he was available in the first place. He was great in Sea for their SB contender years. He's been amazing as a Bill.
  21. McKenzie And Foster happened !!! That kid McKenzie looks super dangerous with the ball in his hand , apparently he's only 5'7 but that boy looks like he can turn into a big time playmaker.. Foster looks like he has worked extremely hard since he got demoted back to the practice squad and looks much improved. They obviously liked him as a legit deep threat since September, but he was out of position on his routes , lacked awareness and anticipation. Looks much improved in all those areas. He missed like 3-4 bombs from Allen earlier in the year because of his poor execution but like I said, he looks like he worked hard and much improved. Their potential is much higher than Pryors
  22. Yeah I agree and I think those moves are definitely made. There's just not much glaring needs that needs to be added to the defense, so they can heavily focus on the offensive side. Beane has a ton of flexibility this off-season, when you really look at the situation, we're sitting pretty nice , you look at the Jests, the only team that'll have more cap space, has plenty of holes and nowhere near the flexibility as Buff. Beane Can go bpa in the draft as well..
  23. I guess my point was their offenses are much better and more consistent. It seemed like you were comparing our offense to theirs , but in reality Dallas averages 60 more ypg and Carolina averages 90 more ypg , so even though they don't have elite offenses, they are still much better than the current Bills O. That's basically all I was saying. That is likely to change next year though,as we could spend the majority of our money on O and add the finishing touches to an already Great defense.
