  1. He's looking good!?! Be great if we can rely on him for future
  2. Anybody who watched the full game,I seriously salute you. I turned off at halftime. First time in my life I did so.
  3. Eh. I'm still very optimistic for next season. If Allen progresses, we're actually in a great spot.
  4. Anyone else turn it off? I switched to Red Zone at halftime. I don't remember the last time I've ever done that by halftime. The O is just hopelessssss
  5. Lol!!! This is actually entertaining , how bad they are
  6. 3rd straight game our O has given up a a TD!! ??? More than they scored. Sad...
  7. 3rd straight game our offense gave up a TD ??.. More points given up then they scored! Unreal
  8. And the defense is RIGHT Back to the field. They're an elite unit. Just imagine them with just an average offense
  9. Shady is the man. Need him next year
  10. Yeah I think they'll definitely be here. I mean Hughes is a monster and a strip sack machine , as well as a leader. Shady is a top playmaker in the nfl, despite the numbers and also a leader and Captain. Both will be surrounded by an influx of talent and I believe next year will be the year we turn into legit contenders
  11. Woah. That's a lot of resources for an OL that has been adequate. I think Dawkins , Miller and/or Ducass and possibly Mills. I just don't know why you go LT unless they know for a fact Dawkins can play elsewhere at this level. Also, if Teller progresses this off season , that's another spot filled. I'd love to see us ***** 2 quality ol , preferably C and RT . But this group really hasn't been that bad. They're not very good but they're definitely adequate and don't need 4 new starters!
  12. Apparently 1/4 of the league ? I like a CB named Greedy!!
  13. Who they got their eyes on CFB people??
  14. I simply laughed. One is 7-18, the other 11-13 , including a playoff berth. I feel like America is just infatuated with offense and scoring and fantasy football lol. They inherited similar situations. Just feel our core roster is much better than theirs , and these are 90% guys M Beane brought in Better record , better roster decisions , yet it looks like the majority would select Shanahan over McDermott and I just don't understand! Yes, Shanny is an innovator on offense but can he win games and come up with good enough gameplans? It looks like McD is better in their short careers. So a poll would be cool , I'd take McD all day , what about you?!?
  15. You forgot a likely top 5 picks in rds 1 and 2 ,3,4 etc... And I'll take the extra 4 and 5 , last year - Milano , who looks like a steal and our olb of the future and Johnson - who also looks like a huge steal and our nickel cb of the future. This team has laid a foundation of nice young talent and next off season can address multiple positions because of all the dead money being removed and available cap space. Next off season is when we build on top of that foundation and you have a long term contender . I don't understand how fans don't see the vision and the foundation that has been built ! Team has the most dead money in the league! They made this sacrifice in order to ensure they build a team that can compete LONG TERM. And Same team as last year? Defense is better imo but the O is wayyy worse. 2 pro bowl OL suddenly retired and The team took a serious blow at QB this year, that's the one position I completely agree they messed up and mismanaged ,which has effected their record but they got their guy in the draft and we'll see how that plays out ,but they have the luxury to heavily focus on fixing this O and adding a number of upgrades , paired up with imo , a great defense. All their moves point to a long term , sustainable vision and I love ittt!!! Yes , I mean it's common sense. Our front office knew they'd have the most dead money in the league by a large margin and that makes it a ton times harder to put together a winning team. They sacrificed the season in order to build their team and next off season they have a ton of money to play with and add top end talent via FA, along with a ton of flexibility .
  16. Oh yeah . So the 5 teams mentioned held back now!?!? Do you really believe that?? When has Belicheck/Brady ever held back? When has Rodgers ever held back? Houston held back in a 3 point game too???? That statement that they held back is laughable....Oh and Watson was playing with a collapsed lung according to you lol, explains why we held em to 13, same team that put up 42 in a blowout this week. C'mon man, that's such a ridiculous statement
  17. Exactly. I'd like to see a rookie obtained in the late rds or a rookie UDFA added, but Shady is a captain and literally does everything at a high level - Run, catch and block. He's still a top playmaker and can be highly effective with a competent offense. I love that they plan on keeping him. I believe we'll be contenders next year.
  18. Lol. Ok . So you're just vthe type that refuses to give them the credit they deserve. We gave up 22 @GB and 18 vs NE , if you're going to bring up their QB situations,u have to bring up our even worse QB situation. Anybody with an ounce of football i.q knows the D played phenomenal in those 5 games.
  19. When the offense goes 3 n out. Can't score or maintain drives, it's brutal for a defense to actually be successful. You left out the fantastic performances @Min , @GB , @Hou , vs Ten and Vs NE , where the D gave up an average of 15.5 ppg! Again , all with a historically bad O . Not too shabby.
  20. It's already worked on defense. . This D has 3 starters from when McD took over and is a top 5 unit littered with talent. They can heavily focus on offense this off season through draft and/or FA , as well as add some pieces to the D if deemed necessary!
  21. Very Well said!! We could be 5-3 with Taylor but it'd mean nothing except a lower draft pick. He's not winning a championship and not the answer for the long term
