  1. You are correct. As far as I know- the MLB players union said awe hell naaaaw and will likely never agree to one- hence no cap. But I could be wrong.
  2. lol…..I wish I weren’t getting up- alarm is set for 5:45am MDT. Too bad my Bills body alarm just went off and snooze is broken. Looks like it’s time to shower and head to Moondoggies a little early! Fiiiiiiiiiired up!!
  3. I’m expecting him to retire before the game. He must’ve found out that no NFL coach has won his first Super Bowl after 7+ seasons with a team. Why even play if you are guaranteed to be a loser?
  4. I hear ya- I don’t think the consensus is that we took a “big” step back, rather a step back and with the jets getting back AR and the dolphins sped. Most of the national media has us as a playoff team, which we were last season by the skin of our teeth. The national narrative has changed, but I don’t think it’s changed so much that 5-12 hot takes are a thing….. barring idiots
  5. It’s the league wide consensus that the Bills will around 5-12? If they can’t be happy, no one can
  6. I hear ya. I like the guy, but one season of good play from a guy with a history of back injuries worries me. I thought he was good last season, but he got whooped on plenty and if it wasn’t for 17 being 17, he’d have been on the hook for a decent amount of sacks imo. after sleeping in it- I’ll be ok with it if 15M and under…..but I still think it’ll be 17-19, and that, I’m not cool with. Hopefully he proves me wrong
  7. I hope Joe Brady is watching this GB pass offense. Some very nice scheming
  8. It was. And will continue to be. Until he gets wrecked
  9. That may be true- doesn’t mean I want to pay a RT what Spencer brown is worth
  10. I had zero doubts that he would succeed in KC. Perfect landing spot for him. Elite QB. Elite play caller. Other great playmakers around him. He is going to be a big play guy and teams will have to game plan for him. The question is, can he stay healthy? That was the only reason I didn’t want to draft him and I have my doubts that he’ll be able to avoid getting demolished every season. Time will tell, but when he’s healthy, watch the efff out. Game changing speed
  11. Spot on my friend
  12. Oh I know. I’m expecting 17-18
  13. This will be the key to our entire season on offense and defense.
  14. If it’s over 12M a year I’m gonna be bummed. Have a feeling it’s way more that 12M a year. Right tackles….not a fan of paying them big bucks
  15. Yeah- coverage is where I’m worried. But at least he has the movement skills to help make up for his mental deficiencies in zone. Eager to watch him develop
  16. Agreed- especially running THAT fast. Sheesh. That said, he might not ever touched with the ball in his hand. 🤣 Reid is a mastermind and will put him in position to dominate - until he breaks
  17. lol. Refraining from reading this thread. I can only imagine the meltdowns
  18. I think they’ll be in the mix
  19. I agree, I feel they have as well, minus WR. Tough to stay on top of every position with limited resources though. Just sucks that he cut the most corners at such a key position.
  20. In hindsight, they did keep them too long, but I don’t see how you can blame them for keeping poyer and Hyde last year. What were the options last year? Use a draft pick on a S and/or bring in 2 brand new guys that don’t know the system. In this case, they gave rapp a year to get accustomed. I think that was a good idea. I just don’t love the player. I do love Bishop though. Other than that small point, I agree with your post wholeheartedly. Lots of big decisions will loom every year from now on
  21. I’d add to that the new OC and DC. I’m a big believer that those two coaching positions are vital to most teams’ success. Some HCs have the ability to run an offense regardless of his OC. Not our HC. Proper scheming and having the ability to get everyone to focus and be on the same page like a cohesive unit. What will change on O with Brady being the brains behind the entire offense from the start? Is Babich the real deal? Groomed his entire life for this moment. What do we have in this kid? How will our defense perform on 3rd down? Two young coordinators - I think they’ll have a bigger impact on our potential success (or failure) than everything other than JA.
  22. Do we know when the FO had made up their mind that they wanted to trade him? Was it that week? That month or perhaps towards last seasons end? Based on the offense we saw once Brady took over, it’s conceivable that they were trying to trade him prior to the execution, but they weren’t able to get what they thought was good value. Maybe- maybe not. Maybe Diggs forced it that week- Either way, other than draft picks, there weren’t many resources available. It’s not like they didn’t spend a fair amount of their cap space on Samuel. love the rest of your post 🤪
  23. Me too, but I didn’t think he’d be the pick. I wanted Ladd, Mitchell or my crush Polk. Wasn’t happy with the pick of Coleman. Seeing who the person is has helped me come around to it. Great kid and can be a real weapon if he’s used correctly. Only going to get stronger and better at running routes. I agree….as long as his body can hold up.
