Bills Host DT Sebastian Joseph-Day on Visit
NewEra replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
iirc he was cut by the chargers late in the season and signed by SF -
I love this guy. Very happy with this signing
-
He might not have been trolling with this particular tweet, but he’s admitted to trolling
-
Yeah, he’s trolling a million idiots
-
And shows very little ability to separate. That’s my issue with him. I feel that he’ll be Gabe 2.0 whereas Josh will force him the ball to give the guy a chance to make a play and interceptions will result.
-
Copy that. I had to ask because I thought it was so unlike you! No time for entire threads anymore! 🤣
-
3 slots and 0 x’s?
-
How do? Because the refs allowed Jawaan Taylor to hold Bosa the entire game? Grats The TD vs the Steelers playoff game was certainly explosives. Kincaid is certainly explosive when he catches and turns it upfield in one fluid motion. I think we have different opinions of what explosive is.
-
What does this have to do with gabe staying healthy? Gabe Davis is a jag that got filthy rich because of Josh Allen. He’s just a guy.
-
Were people actually missing Gabe Davis?
-
I like the move. He’s a playmaker and has speed. We’re loaded underneath. Beane has been preaching RAC every offseason. Now he has it. Samuel, cook, kincaid, shakir are all explosive playmakers imo. Knox and Diggs aren’t too shabby either. He’d be a fine signing for KC. I’m sure Veach has something up his sleeve. He’s just not an X in many peoples opinion, mine included. He’s best in the slot and we already have a young up and coming slot playing on a rookie contract. We have limited resources and I can understand people preferring to invest resources to fill and immediate hole. Samuel is almost a luxury based on his skill set. Maybe those people are wrong and Samuel can fill the roll outside. Brady will just have to get creative. I suspect that we’ll be seeing some Mack Hollins playing more X than many think.
-
@Billl stop looking at games played. He’s had a hurt foot for 4 straight years. You can disagree, it just means that you’re wrong. Aka Boo-Boo foot Davis.
-
Gabe Davis….stays healthy? 🤣 he suits up. He’s rarely been healthy.
-
We are set at WR. Maybe we’ll grab one in Round 6.

In midseason @BringBackFergy form -
He’s not an x. that said- he’s a weapon with speed and RAC. We are loaded over the middle. Still need a legit outside guy. if the deal is essentially 2-15M+ incentives, I’m good with that. He’s a playmaker with jets on his feet. possibilities with our 1st rd pick thomas, Mitchell, Legette chop robinson, Latu Cooper Dejean if he’s still there RT- do we want to pay Spencer Brown? I’m happy with our offseason to date.
-
We have a handful of holes. There are several solid safeties still available. Sometimes you have to wait a bit to get one for the right price. That’s my guess. hollins has a skill set unlike most available FA WRs. A skill set that this FO/coaching staff covets. We have gaping holes at WR too. That’s why we are spending money on Rotational players when there is a gaping hole at S.
-
But that one thing that stands out is something that McBeane covets, blocking. Hollins a one of the better run blocking WRs in the league. I think he’ll play more than Sherfield did last season while also being more productive. I see him playing a role in our heavy run blocking sets and being a decent weapon out of play action in those sets. I currently see him as WR5 but wouldn’t be surprised if he got WR4 reps over a WR not taken in rd 1. Not because I think he’s a good WR, but because I think he can contribute in other ways, ie blocking in the short passing game and run game. dude was stuck with the worst QB situation last season and in an offense predicated on the run. I think he’s closer to the 2022 version of Mack Hollins than he is the 2023 version. His tape isn’t bad.
-
Love it. Solid RB depth.
-
That’s not what makes you a party pooper. You must be aware of your pooping tendencies, no? Seems like 40% of your posts consist of you telling people NO, you can’t have that. The other 60% of your posts consist of telling @Warriorspikes51the same thing.
-
Nah, I wouldn’t pay him that much. Not even close. Dude is always broken.
-
maybe? 😂

I don’t think anyone is thinking that we’ll be matching any best offer for Armstead. If you’ve made 80M in your career and had an opportunity to take a job in the same city as your wife’s medical practice and her family, would you? I would assume she would love that. Some hubbys do what makes their wives happy. They’re swimming in $ already. Happiness. Jordan Poyer has made a fraction of what Armstead has made in his career and he signed a 2M deal to play in the city where his family lives. I bet he could’ve gotten more than 2M on the open market. But he didn’t care about the money in this case. He wanted to be home with his family. Maybe Armstead feels the same
-
He’s a beast when healthy. Problem being, he hasn’t been very healthy for the last couple years. Battling numerous nagging injuries. He’s a massive man. Might be the body is breaking down. that said, he’s a beast when healthy and can be moved all around the line. 4th and short- Rousseau-Oliver-Daquan-Armstead. Oh my would he take 5M to play 50% of the snaps?
-
💯 great post. His family and future generations are set for life. If you reach that point in life, I feel one should live where they can spend as much time as possible with their loved ones. Not on @BillsFanForever19’s watch!! He’s got this on lockdown my man!!
