I think dude went overboard with his comments but we all know that offense, OL and QB play has a big effect on RB production. I don’t think that those stats really tell the whole story

Ok- since you obviously know so much more than I do, how much will Harty and Hines make next year, in addition to the money we kick down the road. Thanks for teaching mes about this ded cap ting . I neva hurd of it before. But since you taught me all about it, I’ve now learnt dat their combined contracts = 11.05M with a penalty of 1,875,000 in dead cap. Over 9M in savings. Tanks for teachn mes. So we’ll be carrying 1.875M of their salaries….:while dumping over 9M….. math based on what I’ve written in this thread, you have no clue anything about what I do and do not know. You apparently have a god complex and think you can analyze others based on 3 posts. sooooooo….. back to the commment about Bourne………care to elaborate on your first reply to my post? Funny how you just disregarded that one

I don’t understand comments like yours… it’s stupid…..and i have no clue what you’re even trying to say. What is the point of your post, what is your problem with my post, in English this time? This is a thread about value free agents. I identified Bourne as a players I’d like to add. Dude says we need a guy who can stretch the field and that Bourne isn’t that guy….. dismissing Bourne as a potential FA addition. My rebuttal to that implies that Bourne is a potential target because we can still use another WR that isn’t a field stretcher. now that that’s clear- what’s the problem with my post? That I disagree with him? That I didn’t explain my rebuttal in-depth and write a paragraph of double talk? 🤷🏻♂️ please teach me how to become a better poster almighty @MR8 What impact did Harty and Hines have for the Bills? They made 4 plays between them over the last 2 seasons. You’d rather have Harty and Hines than Henry? You think they’d be more impactful than Henry? That’s crazy. Hines is a speed merchant that suffered a terrible leg injury. Harty did next to nothing. Those two combined are set to make more than that 4.5-7M you said Henry will make. paying Hines and Harty close to 10M between them is a luxury…..no?

Yeah. That’s one of the reasons he could be affordable. Injury happened end of October

I hope your feeling is wrong. I don’t hate Worthy, I like his skills- I’m just bullish on 170lb players in the NFL, especially with a first rd pick. I know I know, but Devonta Smith! Seems like the exception rather than the rule.
-
Could and outside chance sounds about right. i didn’t think Kincaid would fall to us last year, so let’s hope I’m wrong again! 😉
-
Keep dreaming my friend. Nah, we’d probably have to invest our first 3 or 4 picks to get those 2
-
No doubt. Especially if you really love a guy and think he’s in a different tier. Once Thomas Jr goes, I really think it’s going to be a chess match. I could see KC jumping up into the low 20’s and grabbing Thomas jr if he starts sliding. That would be a terrible thing for the nfl imo. He’s perfect for them. And us. Maybe not the best intermediate route runner (that I’ve seen), but he’s so dangerous deep. Both teams would be so much scarier to defend with him.
-
Until Thomas goes top 20 and the chiefs jump us for Franklin. He seems like a guy they would be targeting as well and it’s pretty obvious that he fits what we’re looking for as well. If we don’t move up, my money is on us NOT landing Franklin. I hope I’m wrong.
-
That says he’s 6’0…… what am I missing here?
-
Interesting. Wondering why you feel Coleman is 1st worthy and Mitchell is not? Strictly the speed? Watching film, it looks like Mitchell is a much better route runner and knows how to separate. I’m a little worried that Coleman is more like a Kevin White with better rac, minus the injuries. edit- scratch that, I hadn’t read through the entire thread prior to posting this

I think it’s so obvious that he doesn’t make it, unless someone takes a Jaelon Reagor. I can’t see less than 5 WRs taken in the top 27 picks and I think Franklin is clearly a top 5 in this class. Wr is a premier position and there are several teams in need. Plus, I think the lack of edge rushers in this class will push WRs even higher up. Our best chance at him slipping involved 8-10 OTs being taken before our pick

What is your level of patience on not advancing to the Super Bowl?
NewEra replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
I would have hired Ben Johnson but I understand keeping McD. I don’t think he’s the reason lost vs kc. Regarding the future, I can’t answer that until I see what transpires next season -
Tyrel Dodson was the #2 rated LB behind Fred Warner. that said- Aiyuk is dam good, but he’s not a fit for Buffalo imo. Too much 💴
-
We need more than 1 guy.
-
I’d really love to add Kendrick Bourne. He’s a nice player.

Potential FA Target: Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, Yay or Nay
NewEra replied to WhitewalkerInPhilly's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah the injuries are huge, but the lions paid him 6.5M spread over 2 years. I wouldn’t want to pay him that much -

No thx- pretty good player- not worth the money he’ll likely get -
Why have the Bills not been more successful? (Poll to end all Polls!)
NewEra replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
A healthy combination of all 3 -
Bills 2024 scheduled opponents list is out !!!

More bad juju vibes than anything. Losing Tre and Von to acls in back to back thanksgiving games was enough for me. No more -

I hope we never get thanksgiving ever again -
I’d rather take Franklin if he’s there but I agree with the rest.
-
Agreed. The more I watch of the prospects, I’m not enamored with any of the WRs that will be there when we pick (I’m in the camp that thinks Thomas Jr and Troy Franklin will be gone by 28). I view Mitchell, Coleman, Leggette, worthy, McConkey and the rest as rd 2 guys. Problem being, I think all of those guys will be gone within the first 10 picks of rd 2. Trading down a few spots and getting more picks and options for maneuverability later in the draft makes a lot of sense (if Thomas and Franklin are gone).
-
We’d probably have to trade up at least 10 spots in rd 2 to get a WR worthy of what we need. Maybe 15-20

Does this team actually have the guts to move on from Tre White?

You should take a break. Sounds like you’re drunk sitting in your recliner all angry and bitter at the world looking for something to complain about- 131 replies
