  1. Put your money where your mouth is. I’ll bet you up to $500 that mckonkey plays a higher percent of snaps from the slot than Coleman does.
  2. No. Beane sucks. Obv
  3. For sure. And we look to have a legit backup for Taron (and possible punt returner) as well. Something we’ve never had and have been very lucky that he’s been so healthy. Loved the Carter pick. He’s more of a 3 this point than a 1, but looks like he could possibly play a bit of both. Solid guy next to Ed on passing downs while also being his backup. The davis pick really has me excited. If cook goes down, I don’t think we’ll take much of a step back. I think he has starter potential as early as this season. Adding starting S and C in rd 2 and 5. I thought van pran was our best pick. Bishop fits our scheme perfectly in Poyers role. Soloman has great potential as a designated pass rusher. Not a full time starter (yet anyway) but can make an impact imo. A little undersized, but his length and massive hand size help make up for his lack of size. He gets to the QB.
  4. Different perspectives on life I suppose. To keep things short and not write a novel on this subject: I love the Bills. They are my favorite past time other than my family. When I spend my limited time on earth thinking about and discussing my favorite past time, why would I want to shower my thoughts and mood with doom and gloom? We still haven’t won the SB. We might not next season either. That’s life. I don’t see how crying and whining that the GM didn’t have the same vision as me can bring anything positive into my world. I used to. I used to post negatively on the reg. I still do once in awhile, but I get it out of my system and simply move on. My opinion was known and nothing else had to be said. Only one team wins the SB. And only one team has in the last 2 seasons. In the past 5 years, only 3 fan bases were crowned champions. A LOT goes into winning one and we just haven’t had the dice come up in our favor due to injury’s, coaching and execution. One of our 2 elite players dropped the biggest play/pass of the season. While I watched MVS, juju, mckinnon, Pacheco and hardman execute on the biggest plays of KCs seasons. Elite talent is massive- I wish we had more of it. But we don’t and it’s not easily acquired, especially with our cap sitch (which was partly caused by our search for the elite von miller and Diggs). That search for elite talent put our salary cap in bad spot (least cap room in the nfl to start the offseason). So what do you do in order to get the cap straightened out? Keep your draft pick and accumulate more of them in order to have players under control for 4+ year at a minimum cap hit. You don’t trade up for one potential star (who could also bust). We’ve never been one superstar WR away from a championship. We just didn’t game-plan properly and/or execute when we needed too. We were right there. Favorites vs the chiefs. We dropped the ball. Beane didn’t. All that said, I wanted to trade up for Nabers or Odunze. My irrational side wanted the shiny new toy. I accepted the reality of not trading up and moved on. Turns out we drafted a fun new toy (not as shiny and not the WR I wanted) as well as several other promising draftees. Accept reality. Embrace it. What I enjoy most about this past time is having hope. I didn’t have a lot for quite a long time. Now that I have plenty of it, I’m not going to get upset if the FO has a different vision as I do. I’m going to hope that they can put us into position to win a title, like they have for the last handful of years and hope that the players and coaches execute when it matters most. And I’m going to enjoy it. Why? Because why not, I’m very happy in life and have zero need to bring the negativity into my world. Yet I have no choice but to feel the negativity when I come to my favorite online last time, TBD. I guess I’m just fighting the impossible fight of trying to open peoples eyes to how lucky we are to have this experience ahead of us the next few years. Enjoy it as much as you can because it’s something you love so much. No need for the doom. We aren’t doomed
  5. I’ll take a pass rusher and/or one of the WRs minus Renfrow and Boyd. I
  6. lol….I’m the biggest agitator? 🤣 oh man. You don’t like me because I’m anti doom and gloom. You ARE doom and gloom, so I get it. Cool. i agree that 10ish years ago, I may have been top 10, but now I just get a little out of hand when I drink. Luckily for the board, I don’t really drink unless I’m watching a bills game and don’t post very often during the games.
  7. “Never invest in their franchise QB”. Never. I feel bad for ya. I get the frustrations. I really do. I was hoping to draft 2-3 WRs. We didn’t and I’m not happy about it. That said- we did invest in Josh allen. This offseason. Last offseason. Every offseason. And every year we have a top 5 offense at the end of the year, while playing in Buffalo. They didn’t invest as much as you or I wanted them to invest but I look at our OL and our playmakers, I don’t think we’re lacking as much as many others. Our run last season was done with our WR1 accomplishing next to nothing I think we’ve provided Josh with a good running game and a boatload of capable playmakers. Missing the elite talent so far, but that could come in the form of Kincaid. Cook is emerging as a top back. Shakir was one of the most efficient WRs in the league. Samuel has been good without a good NFL QB ever throwing him the ball. Keon now has Josh Allen. All the talking heads talked about in 2020-2022 was “they need to get Josh allen help in form of a running game”. “They are asking him to do too much”. “He can’t do it all”. They invested in the run game to do so, neglected WR more than we had hoped. What they did last season showed they don’t need an elite WR (of course having one would be better than not having one). They can execute a great offense while spreading the ball around and running the ball. Just like KC has done the last two seasons.
  8. Every post you make is anti the post you quoted. Never anything positive. You’re here to take out your frustrations in life.
  9. I should have just used an eye roll emoji and ghosted like the pros I bet you have more eye roll emojis than posts in the 6 years you’ve been here.
  10. Right…..you are. But you insinuating that the FO bypassed superior talent in order to fit their philosophy. In their eyes, they drafted the superior talent.
  11. seems to me that you’re confusing “better talent” with “players that you deem to be better talent”. No? as if there’s no chance that the Bills front office sees things differently than you?
  12. You know you made a nice post when the two blokes who rolled their eyes at you are @KDIGGZand @TheWeatherMan Stop. Find a new hobby
  13. We were a couple plays away from beating KC last 2 playoff games. We beat them in our last three regular season games. We took our shot on Von Miller and it backfired due to injury. Extending Diggs was needed in order to make that happen. Diggs fell off a cliff and turned out too much to deal with. Now we have to deal with the consequences for a season. You do realize that we have to stop the KC offense as well as score? Adding 10 all pro WRs won’t help us beat them if our defense can’t stop them. We need balance. We lost our 2 pro bowl safeties, floyd, 3 DTs and Tre. They have to be replaced with good/solid players making very little money due to our cap sitch. It looks like we’ve accomplished some of that, if not all of that this offseason (minus the elite pass rushers that don’t grow on trees and cost a billion) Sorry to see you like this. Looks like you’ve gone off the deep end. This is part of the salary cap nfl and scoring endless amounts of points is rarely the answer. Balance is usually the answer. We can still have a top 5 offense this season. I’d go so far as to say that our offense will be fair share better than our D….even with our so called terrible WR unit.
  14. I missed the beginning of the convo. Who is the better talent that we ignored?
  15. And unless your team wins the Super Bowl…..the coach and GM suck
  16. The draft brings out the worst in many
  17. That’s what is making it horrible. People moving there because they work online and don’t pay state taxes. Same with Las Vegas. No state tax. Never cold. It used to be a great place to live. I found it unbearable over the last 2 years and it’s getting much worse by the month. Warm weather no tax states getting over-infested We moved to St George Ut and life couldn’t be better. I drove to Vegas on Thursday to watch the draft with the boys. Once I hit the outskirts of LV on the 15, dead stop of traffic at 1:15pm. Took me 70 minutes to get a location 10 minutes away. My buddy is a limo driver for Aria and is looking for a new job because he only gets 3-4 runs a day now, when he used to get 8-12. Stuck in traffic all day.
  18. I agree that his investment hasn’t panned out to date. Partly due to the players he signed. Partly due to injury. His 2 biggest investments in 2022 missed the playoff loss to Cinci. Both were injured the following year. Leonard floyd was a great signing….until he disappeared. And we were 4th in sacks. I also agree that he should’ve invested more into WR. No doubt about it. I just don’t question his motives to make DL the number one investment. It matters more than anything else besides QB. I stand by that. edit- but his clear misses and injury on the DL have hurt us.
  19. Which good GMs don’t believe in building the DL? do you think WR is more important than DL in terms of winning championships? QB > DL > OL that isn’t bad > WR imo. Beanes biggest problem, imo, isn’t choosing to build his team from the DL out, it’s his choices of who he invested in. Some years he invested in poor players. Some years he invested in good players that disappeared in the playoffs. And then there’s Von. A guy that was performing at a very high level until injury made him irrelevant both playoff runs he was in the team. edit- yes, I agree that he should’ve invest more in the WR position than he has. I just don’t see a problem investing in the DL. He just needed to do a better job at it. Without a good DL, you aren’t sniffing a SB.
  20. You’ve outdone yourself with this ridiculous statement. so which best GM in the league should we hire? Do tell. Maybe we can offer the ravens and chiefs some wings for life if they allow us to hire Eric Decosta or Brett Veach? Maybe Howie Roseman is available? The greatest dynasty in nfl history didn’t even have a top 10 GM. Is Jason Licht a top 5 GM? He beat them. The Bengals don’t even have a GM. They beat them. With the team Beane has put together, over the last 3 years, we just have to avoid major injury, game plan properly and execute. The 2020 team wasn’t good enough, but I think we were the last 3 years. Injuries, game planning and execution (or lack thereof) eventually led to our seasons ending. Not Brandon Beane. If you want to put losing (in the playoffs) on anyone, I’d put it on McD over Beane JMO.
  21. Do we agree that the team they’ve lost to for 3 of the last 4 years is going to go down as a dynasty with one of the best quintets in NFL history in Mahomes, Kelce, Jones, Reid and Spags? We were an executed play/‘s away in 2 of those season enders. It’s his job to find a way….but the same can be said for the players. Injuries, execution and play calls all play a huge factor in why his roster didn’t beat a dynasty
  22. So was Antonio Brown and so is Jefferson, Adams, Chase and many others over the year. Moss and Julio are candidates for top 5 all time. You don’t have to be THAT to be WR1
