  1. How many columnists do they need? Can we get an actual sports writer out there?
  2. With White being able to play inside and outside we could see Johnson on the field more on 1st and 2nd downs if go base nickel defense like McDermott did in Carolina.
  3. Watkins at 26 is absurd, yes he's had injuries but he's certainly a better player than a lot of the RB/WR/TEs listed.
  4. I'm expecting Henderson to be cut this preseason and replaced with Cameron Jefferson whose been in camp with Dennison the last two years in Denver and even spent some time on their practice squad.
  5. Expect that a lot but will tell you, don't bother writing them back even though it feels like the nice thing to do. As I'm 40 and online dated for quite a few years and a lot of times it feels like things are going good and for whatever reason the woman just stops responding (it's called ghosting). It happened to me quite a bit but that all said a little more than 16 months ago a girl liked my profile on one the sites I was on. I wasn't really looking for anyone but I thought I didn't have anything to lose so called her out on it for not writing me anything just the like. We ended up meeting for coffee a few weeks later and been together ever since. A female friend who did some online dating gave me some good advice, remember that women are getting tons and tons of responses to their profiles and really have the right to choose of the lot who they want etc. Also if the woman is past the age of 30 she probably has some sort of list/expectation of what she'll settle on etc. The good/bad thing about online profiles is you get to learn a lot about the person but at the same time may not give the complete picture of what they are so people can be far more pickier than in the past.
  6. Does this open up a roster spot for Boldin or the recently worked out QB Marcus McDade? http://www.americanfootballinternational.com/former-samsung-frankfurt-universe-qb-marcus-mcdade-gets-nfl-shot-buffalo-bills/
  7. It's called bottoming out, which the Bills really haven't done. I mean part of those great 90s teams were so great is we ended up drafting Bruce Smith 1st overall in 1985 thanks to Jim Kelly not signing when he was first drafted. Dareus was the last time the Bills had a pick in the top 3 and looked like he was going to be a difference maker until Rex installed a new defense. That or Dareus got lazy because of his new contract.
  8. Danny Woodhead is there too so Buck might only getting 1st and 2nd down work.
  9. I think when Wood's contract expires he's as good as gone unless we can get him at a low number since we have Groy under contract for this and next year and next year if he fails to develop we can always draft someone in 2018 to start in 2019.
  10. I agree if Tyrod goes down I say see what our young guys can do instead of retreading a veteran since it doesn't help evaluate what we have and if none of them succeed it means we'll be drafting a QB with the higher of our two 1st Rounders next year or use them to move up and maybe land a guy we like.
  11. If Cardale doesn't show he's progressed from last season I don't think he's worth keeping around. He might be a gamer but ultimately he still has to show he's progressing otherwise he won't develop the physical skills he's been blessed with which would then make me okay keeping Yates around to maybe help develop Peterman.
  12. The Bills are going to be running a WCO so we need a guy who can stay in the pocket, make quick reads and throw receivers open. Which is what most good QBs do guys out there now that could do well in this offense might be a Shaun Hill but not sure he's starting material. Of those on the roster I think Nathan Petersen is the one most apt to succeed in the long term.
  13. Being in Buffalo and not at the game I admit to turning the radio off after the 2nd half interception returned for a TD. Of course I got bored so turned it back on and even was able to see the final part of the comeback because the game ran long and somehow the last minutes of the game got shown on local tv despite the blackout rules.
  14. Rod Streater is a guy who might surprise you. As felt he might make the final 53 as our 4th WR.
  15. It's called adding veteran for next to nothing that might be better than some undrafted college free agent to fill the depth chart and hope. Kind of like we did with Douzable at DT last year. I'm sure the other guys being brought in will be like Boldin or maybe career STers or guys in their 3rd/4th years looking to prove themselves.
  16. and EJ might be even more talented than all of them but it doesn't make him a great QB.
  17. In retrospect glad we didn't get any of them in Round 1, as the trade down to acquire KC's 1st pick last year IMHO the best plan of action to take. Not to mention give us the bullets to trade up for Zay.
  18. I agree with everything been said with Jimbo, one has to wonder if the Bills would have won with Marino at QB on any of those teams granted those teams may not have been drafted as Jimbo learning to play in the USFL allowed us to be God awful and draft Bruce, Andre, Conlan, trade for Bennett etc.
  19. Ironies of ironies is that Bill Polian only selected one Buffalo Bill in Marv Levy but he was actually a co-HC as he was also allowed to draft Tony Dungy! Do you think he was an all time top 12 QB? I don't.
  20. That or a horrible QB throwing to him or both.
  21. Did they? Have you seen Miami's TE production since Clay left? I'm not saying Clay deserves top 5 position money but he's been our 2nd best passing option.
  22. I don't read it as a dig at all. Some fans need to get thicker skin.
