  1. 27-10 Bills. Our D will be great and the O will, finally, come alive.
  2. Nice write up. The COVID stuff I trust this group will take care of (as much as possible). For me the biggest question is Josh and his very much hoped for improvement. I’m firmly entrenched in the camp of if he takes another step like last year we will go places...just not enough points last year. The losses along the D line, I believe, were handled well. Most of the sacks of the players we lost were coverage sacks. It would be nice if they could get more interior pressure and with Harrison back and Ed in his second season, I’m counting on it. Either way, I can’t wait!!!!! Bills football in T-6 days!
  3. I hope the fact that he wasn’t grabbed by any other team silences the ‘Duke crowd’ here. Great story and great guy, I have no doubt, but those come every year it seems.
  4. I think we’re ready to go farther...but just to see another playoff game in the Ralph would be heaven.
  5. Thanks, Shaw. It is indeed so much fun to watch the team you root for be run in an exceptional manner from the top down...just makes it all the more enjoyable. There have been things Beane has done that made me scratch my head...but just for a second as I quickly remember, ‘He’s got this’. McDermott as well: when he errs, I don’t worry about it as erring is the best way to learn and I know he will...and share the knowledge. We are on track!!!!!
  6. Cheers Mike. I come down to your neck of the woods from time to time and will happily treat you to lunch when I make it next. People here know what I’m dealing with and these a** hats claiming an infringement on their liberty is comedic. WWII anyone?
  7. Is this driven by last year’s improvement coupled with the addition of Diggs? I agree if so.
  8. Agreed. The article states that a few kids tested from HS had it and almost all from NCAA (of course they were all dead so the data is skewed). The beauty of a test would be to get a baseline and allow guys to make a decision as their careers progress. Then, many years down the line, hopefully there will be a medicine to aid them.
  9. Ha! 😃 I view this as exceedingly important as this is the one very real threats to the NFL and American Football in general.
  10. https://www.washingtonpost.com/magazine/2020/09/02/quest-detect-cte-living-former-nfl-players-other-athletes/?no_nav=true&tid=a_classic-iphone&p9w22b2p=b2p22p9w00098 Interesting article chronicling a former player and a researcher pushing to find a valid test for the living which could eventually lead to drugs to help those with CTE.
  11. What other NFL player was in the Brady Bunch? Hello?!!!! 😃
  12. Beane, in standard form, will get a third and fourth. It’s just how he rolls. 😃
  13. Mostly not: this was discussed ad nauseum during their draft. Most aren’t wishing him the worst.
  14. I’m not 100% sure, but I don’t think they’re social distancing. Agreed...states the guy who’s spine is full of titanium (me).
  15. Him too?!!!!! Here I am thinking I’m the only one! In all seriousness, I can’t say I’m ecstatic that they screwed the pooch on this...on second thought: yes I can!!! ?
  16. Saturday. The 53 has been altered but I’ve forgotten the particulars. It’s not significantly different save the PS.
  17. Absolutely not. As stated succinctly above, all teams are playing in the same pandemic. The champion is the champion.
  18. What a shift from Roger. This would NEVER have happened in the not so recent past. Glad he wisened up.
  19. I’ll take anything we can get since this year is so crazy.
  20. I believe Gilliam is cheaper so it would make sense given the downturn in cap next year. I do believe if you’re on IR you can participate in meetings. If I recall correctly, Harrison Phillips did it last year.
