  1. When I looked, it said it should mostly be gone by afternoon/evening so not sure if anyone benefits. If it’s raining, better D wins. They. both have issues.
  2. Ok, @97bills, please share your thoughts. Thanks!
  3. Reid Ferguson literally stated that the laces were his fault. Not on Bojo. The individual who holds the ball can turn it, at most, 1/4 turn in the time from the snap to spinning. It was completely Ferguson’s fault...as he stated.
  4. Thought this at the time: how is this legal? Stunning, really.
  5. Roll Tide! The UGA game tonight was fantastic!! As for Trevor...he’s the real deal in college. I hope it transfers to the pros as that males the league that much more fun to watch. I’m happy watching Josh: we always have a chance if the ball is in his hands.
  6. Bills 31-24 While we both have been exposed, it’s all about bounce back and McD is better than that than the fogged one. Oh...and ROLL TIDE!!!!!
  7. I’ll argue this: Murphy and Hughes are not terrible. Hughes, in particular, has not been setting the edge, but Murphy has (oh, how the tables have turned!). Phillips has been better than good, so has...one of the new guys...Addison (?). Milano is very good and so is Edmunds when he’s not injured. That makes your argument a challenge, from my point of view. Ok, not enough depth? I’ll buy that. But with the general slant of the NFL towards O, I’d expect this to go on. What that means for future draft picks, etc. is another discussion.
  8. Look again. When he entered the league he was overweight and close to 300 and then played between 280-285. He was one giant muscle. 😃
  9. I selected B and B. It’s pertinent information if we’re playing them in the near future (who will be out, is there a danger for the Bills, etc). For the first one, it’s just a sign of the times. Most have been following the new restrictions reasonably well with posts and I find some of the thoughts shared illuminating.
  10. Agreed. Personally, I believe it’s wise to withhold judgment until the entire story comes out.
  11. I said in a GDT that he needs to put a few pounds on. Perhaps I’m outdated? I like the Bruce build as I believe it helps set the edge. Maybe I’m wrong? But then I think that Jerry has been absolutely overwhelmed by taking too much of an inside move. To be honest, I’m not sure if it’s body size or coaching. Either way, the Bills need help on the edge and it needs to happen very soon.
  12. In all seriousness: have you changed as you have aged?
  13. It was on the radio today that the our long snapper (his name just escaped me) took the blame. He said the holder can turn it 1/4 turn at most and he put the incorrect spin on it. Found that interesting.
  14. Wow, he was the man. May his family find solace. Way too young.
  15. Pretty sure Bruce is an UFA: git’er done, Beane!!!!! 😃
  16. I agree completely, OP. As I posted elsewhere, Chiefs lost four games last year between weeks five and ten. Magically, that didn’t mean they sucked. Indeed, they ended up being champions. Take a breath everyone!
  17. TBD shout out from Sal!!! Too funny.
  18. I appreciate Sal and his takes. He’s even keeled and confident...which is not arrogance. But some people can’t recognize that. I’ve never heard him yell at a caller. Does he correct them if they put words in his mouth? Sure, but anyone would. Here’s an idea, OP: don’t listen to him if you don’t like him and save us from threads like this.
  19. Nice write up, Shaw. They were absolutely flat and it appeared evident to me straight out of the gate. Each and every time they showed Bills players faces, they looked overwhelmed. I stayed positive and trusted in Josh to bail the team out. Didn’t happen...although if they put him in at MLB we would have had a chance. 😃 Edit: Tasked just told a story about when they laid a dud and Thurman got up in front of the team and said, “Guys, that was just a bad night.” Yup.
  20. Last year the Chiefs lost four games between weeks five and ten. Did they fire everyone, get rid of players and bring in others? Stay calm and right the ship.
  21. Sometimes guys need a change of scenery. Hughes was a bust originally, too. As for Edmunds being a bust, it’s premature. He had a very strong year last year and is playing injured now. I suspect these knee jerk reactions are why none of us are managing a professional team. 😃
  22. Yup, this. Not to mention, as long as I can remember (been a Bills fan since the ‘70’s), most pass catchers take time to develop. I agree he hasn’t lived up to expectations but I also think it’s wise to wait for the first contract to end before giving up in most instances. Bring in others? Sure. But don’t discard young guys out of hand.
