  1. We have two sacks in the first quarter. Just pointing that out.
  2. In 1973 one of my fathers friends painted OJ and, under him, was ‘2003 in 73’ on a 8” wood plank and he gave it to us. I grew up with that in my room. Grew up in the ROC, lived down south for 19 years and am now back. Always pulled for the Bills via DirecTV (thank God I don’t need them anymore). Kids are fans (oldest lives in ATL) and is a HUGE Bills fan. He, in turn, forces it on his girlfriend thus the expansion of Bills Mafia continues! 😃
  3. Got my Josh box (loved the shirt) and also rocking my Bills windbreaker. Also wearing my magic Bills hat which, not coincidentally, I let at a friends house the last two weeks. Oh, also have my Josh’s Jaq’s box out. Back to the win column!!!
  4. I agree. He is still a solid prospect but he needs time to ferment. I’d rather have Singletary and 22 playing...and a line that can block people. Never has doing your 1/11th been more important than right now for the Bills: they’re close but if these other guys don’t step up it could get hairy quickly.
  5. Yes, it’s all so very weird this year with all of the changes. Agreed on Ford: he needs time. So do Edmunds and Milano...and Smoke. Unfortunately, we don’t get the benefit of a ‘push’ game when Covid comes to Buffalo. Not sure I understand how the NFL is handling that, either. As for Dodson, I appreciate McD being quiet but at the same time it drives me (us) bonkers. He is, however, doing the right thing by keeping everything close to the vest in my opinion. I guess, for me, I take comfort in the fact that I trust this regime. Foolish? Maybe...but I don’t think so. For our O, I seriously see Smoke as being Josh’s security blanket (along with Beas at times...but more so Smoke). Him being out changes this O. We need them all back to good health to make it to our promised land (my opinion).
  6. Perhaps I jumped the gun? I thought I read he was. Treatment week, however, so all bets are off with the validity of anything I say/write due to brain fog. Apologies if I’m wrong. The gist of what I was saying is that this year is the antithesis of last year. The Bills can’t seem to catch a break with injuries and we seem intensely thin on D and even our stellar receiving corps has gone to just ok without Smoke present. Frustrating.
  7. I am serious...and stop calling me Shirley. 😃
  8. Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue!
  9. Man, injuries are so bad this year. This is unfortunate as the loss of Milano and Smoke, in particular, really negatively impact this team.
  10. YES! Hopefully we get six or seven DUKE!!!! threads out of this. 😃
  11. Haven’t thought about fearing Tua but I do NOT fear the reaper! More cowbell!!!! 😃
  12. This. Everyone freaking out over every single thing needs to take a reality pill. These are human beings...modern gladiators playing for our entertainment. So very happy for Kroft and his family! I hope all are happy, healthy and on their way home!!!! 😃
  13. I agree, Augie. Being a glass half full guy, I suspect/expect them to get the ship righted. With that being said, contrary to popular belief around here, I appreciate what Beane and McD have done to this point.
  14. Let me just say: I loathe these ‘drawings’ of players on Fox. Terrible. The positive? We get to watch some Varsity HS football tonight!!!! 😃
  15. I buy each take. The Bills need to get the darn train back on the tracks...particularly Josh and the D. In each of the last two weeks, Josh didn’t look like he was having fun...even at the outset. I let my oldest son know right away it wasn’t going to be a good day (both weeks). It’s there for all of us to see. Needs to change posthaste. The D seems typical of McD’s time as a coordinator. Really, really good or not so much. I don’t know why yet but there are always letdowns in his D over the years...personnel, perhaps? Or maybe just schedule?
  16. I agree. I also wonder, with McD benching/not dressing so many early draft picks in his years here (and this year), why not do it with Moss given how underwhelming he’s been? Seems opposite to his modus operandi. Yeldon is exceptional catching out of the backfield and is also a very different style runner. Why not see where it leads? Let Moss develop and then take another look. This week seems as though it’s a perfect week to try given the opponent.
  17. I, for one, think his troubles are completely predictable and expected. He was not a catching TE in college and is learning as he goes. Most pass catchers take some time to transition when entering the league and he appears to be no different. I maintain hope as I do love when he catches the ball and shows off his willingness to hit...and be hit. Catching is the last thing to master and, not coincidentally, usually takes the most time.
  18. You’re most likely correct, but this team needs to get past these injuries one way or another. Decidedly different than last year.
  19. I did the same. If there was more of a Tua track record, perhaps that would change for me. Being a Bama fan, I appreciate the kid.
  20. I think we can almost sit everyone and still win. 😃 All jokes aside, I agree about Brown and Trey (Milano, as well): they should sit.
  21. I have a very close friend who is native. I asked him about this particular situation. While he didn’t have a problem with it, most on his reservation do...therefore he is behind the name change. I for one always viewed it as an honor to how hard native people fought...but I’m of Irish decent thus very white. Thankfully, I was raised with an open mind. I like WFT (or, for comedic value, as previously mentioned, WTF). At any rate, whatever Snyder chooses, I hope it is with serious thought and consideration.
