  1. I liked what LVR did playing Kelce man and the rest zone. Not sure why we didn’t adopt that unless they think we don’t have anyone that can pull it off.
  2. This is important: keeping the D rested and Mahomes off the field is a key to this game.
  3. Did you hear Aikman talking about being at Josh’s Pro Day yesterday? He was blown away and said Josh had the strongest arm he has ever seen. Threw it 85 yards in the air. It was great to hear! He also said that...you could hear the ball flying but no grunting from Josh.
  4. LA played him in man and the rest of the D in zone. Also hardly blitzed at all. I’m hoping we emulate that this evening...particularly with how poor our blitz has been.
  5. As I looked at the scores from yesterday this morning, you can see D’s finally waking up around the league. Many more lower scoring contest LS yesterday. With any luck the Bills D wakes up.
  6. Mine was five years ago (full ACL and MCL tears) and no, I haven’t: still cannot straighten my knee...but I’m not a good sample group as I’m 50, not a professional athlete and have other ailments. Having been an athlete, though, I believe it would mess with your mind for a while. I think it’s, in all reality, a two year injury...which is extreme for these young men. That’s all I’m saying.
  7. I’m rolling with this although I’ve always liked the Niners...’The Catch’, Montana, Rice, etc.
  8. I’m not sure, to be honest. I speak only as someone who has torn theirs and it’s rather terrible: there’s the pain, of course, and the surgery, but the worst part is how it messes with your mind. After the tear, your leg will go side to side at the knee. It’s a very strange feeling (I’m speaking of a complete tear). Going back against some of the best athletes in the US with the memory of your knee being that way and the pain (from both the tear and the recovery) cannot be easy in my opinion. There have been many NFL players who come back the following year and aren’t the same for a year after their return. It just isn’t the same feeling yet it’s your knee.
  9. For the love of God, no, I’m not. When the holder gets the ball it is a tenth of a second prior to the kick, at most. The holder can spin it 1/4 turn, tops. The LS is supposed to get the ball there within a quarter turn and then the holders corrects as needed. I’m a former LS but this is from the Bills current LS. Blame whomever you’d like, it matters not to me.
  10. I agree with what you’re saying but that’s poor (but expected) form on his part. This is terrible for GB. The one thing it does display for those around here (the sky is falling folks) who want to fire everyone and start over is that every team has a/multiple stinkers every season. There’s parity for a reason.
  11. I don’t understand this. Please never root for injuries.
  12. This is the first time since 2001 that they’ve been below .500. In addition, they have their Covid issues AND no longer have Brady. This year for them is different, hands down.
  13. This is how it makes me feel. 😃
  14. Having the Pats*** lose always seems to make my Sunday. Not sure why. Hmmmmm.
  15. Yup...sorry, as I watched him all the time at ND, that was a given to me. Thanks for clarifying!
  16. Man Claypool is amazing. They’re calling him ‘Mapletron’ due to the similarities between him and Megatron. Loved him at ND.
  17. Excellent info...thanks for taking the time. With both teams needing a bounce-back, I’m hoping the Bills come out pumped as it’s in their house. Also good to know the critical guys who were out last week will be back. Thanks again!
  18. I’m talking about what Reid Ferguson said. It is his job to get the football to the holder in a certain position as the holder has time for, at most, a quarter turn.
