  1. Funny, I heard that Reid quote also and immediately thought "well, well, well, let the games begin." He really doesn't have any other choice. What else is he going to tell his team? They're back-to-back SB champs. He's got to come up with something. As I said last week, extra motivation does matter to these guys. The good news is that regardless of what imaginary "chip" KC is placing upon their shoulders, the Bills don't have to manufacture one; KC is the last obstacle in their path towards writing their own story.
  2. Something's not right, I'll agree with you there... It's pretty damned simple. Cooper is not helpful in the run game. When we've got 6 OL out there you've only got room for 4 skill players (besides Josh). That's a RB, 1 or 2 TEs, and 1 or 2 WRs. Even with a standard 5 OL Cooper only plays if we're throwing 3 WR out there, because Shakir/Coleman/Hollins dominate the 2 WR sets. Not sure what conspiracy theory you're trying to promote. Cooper will help us at some point, but it's going to be situational (as it has been to this point). ** Edited to reflect Coleman, Shakir, and Hollins are getting majority of snaps in 2 WR sets.
  3. We turned Mahomes over twice in the first meeting (and Josh gave it up once), so it mattered then as well. But I agree with you that both of these teams have it ingrained not to beat themselves with mistakes, so I think it's really going to come down to the red zone and who is able to cash in while preventing the other team from doing the same.
  4. ...red zone offense/defense, and turnovers. Period. Yards don't mean diddly poo; in all four divisional games last weekend the team that out-gained their opponent lost. Granted, if one team is dominating another the yardage will reflect that, but when the stakes are high and every team is a "good" team it all boils down to RZ and TO margin. Josh Allen has taken a few years to add that knowledge to his repertoire but he now fully understands and embraces it, and that's why the Buffalo Bills will be traveling to New Orleans in two weeks.
  5. I was always high on Jimbo, but even I never imagined he would become the sort of tough runner he is now. Just amazing, and the fact we have TyJo and RayRay to spell him and play some 3rd downs/4:00 offense is the icing on the cake.
  6. It’s the freight house on w 22nd.
  7. Looks like the Airbnb we’re staying at is a 4-minute walk from Jack’s Shack…how do they stack up to Joe’s or Q39? Does it matter?
  8. Yes it’s a nice 3-headed monster but you’re completely wrong about Cook. The dude welcomes contact and runs through it.
  9. Just go out and f***ing play sound, mistake free football like they have and physically dominate this team. Don’t put it in the refs’ hands.
  10. Gotta get the papers, get the papers…
  11. Didn’t see another thread specifically for those going to the game next week. I’m making my first trip to Arrowhead and we won’t have the ability to organize a “tailgate” in the traditional sense. Are there bars/restaurants near the stadium; hopefully walkable? I’ll do my own research but hoped perhaps some of you have been to games there previously. Thanks and Go Bills!!!
  12. Two of the three Raven turnovers were forced by the defense. The INT was due to a blitz and Bernard’s “peanut punch” on Andrews. Lamar’s fumble was just him being careless with the ball.
  13. I am more confident in this Bills team than I’ve ever been — at least since the early 90s. Josh is playing at an other-worldly level and refuses to let them beat themselves. We finally have a disciplined, physical football team that can win games in a number of ways. The Chiefs’ mystique ends Sunday night.
  14. Astutely noted, sir. Yes, in every football game one team wins and one team loses, and by virtue of the fact Baltimore had fewer points than Buffalo they did indeed lose that game.
  15. Dude, we all agree that the defense is what has kept Buffalo from advancing. Last year they had a friggin’ practice squad trying to defend Mahomes and Kelce. The year before that the team was completely drained (and had the Diggs drama). 13 seconds is 13 seconds. Let’s not pretend that everything has gone right for Buffalo and McD screwed the pooch. Too many people fail to realize just how much luck comes into play in the playoffs. That’s all I’m saying.
  16. I’ve been beating this drum in multiple threads this week. Yet another example of the media not really digging deep and just repeating statistics. The Ravens have a good defense but they’re not the 2000 Ravens or ‘86 Bears, for chrissakes.
  17. Yeah, like losing Daboll and Schoen hurt the Bills… 😂
  18. McDermott is 6-6 in the playoffs (6-5 with Josh). In the playoffs you’re always playing another playoff team (duh), so an above-.500 record can’t (or shouldn’t) be considered “bad.” We all want to reach the next level. A lot has to go right to get there. Our head coach is not the problem.
  19. It's proven that he can't? Jesus H. Christ on a popsicle stick. Josh is only the toughest QB in the freaking league. What an idiotic statement.
  20. I have never heard a single insightful observation from her. She mimics what others have said or takes the easy or obvious route in her analysis. They have her on because she’s nice to look at and can talk football without sounding like a moron.
  21. I realize your name is probably Gordon G but every time I see a post from you I read it as: Gor-DONGGGGGG Sorry bro 😂
  22. Yes, it would appear he is moving through the protocol and hopefully will be cleared by Sunday.
  23. It’s remarkable how my perception of this game has shifted over the past four and a half days. I went from “oh, crap, I don’t want any part of the Ravens” on Saturday night to now feeling strangely confident about this game. Why did this happen? I think it’s a combination of things: Bills are the healthiest they’ve been in the playoffs in the McD era Media/fan focus on first matchup when the Bills were missing multiple defensive starters (look at the LBs who played all the snaps!) Overrated Baltimore defense that has padded its stats against bad teams down the stretch Bills’ chip on their shoulder on multiple fronts (underdog at home, MVP race, All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections, etc.) Josh Allen’s zen-like transformation into a master at the QB position A super-focused yet calm McDermott who does not seem “tight” at all Obviously anything can happen, but I’ve now tuned out the noise and I will be absolutely shocked if the Ravens control this game. I’m not predicting a Bills 10+ point win or anything, but I’m looking forward to hearing Mr. Brightside at the stadium Sunday night. Go Bills!!!
  24. Thanks for stopping by, Harold! We appreciate all of your contributions since 12/4/24!
