We waited for two decades to have a relevant franchise, and now that they are "must see TV" and play in prime time those same fans cry about the games not being on Sunday at 1 pm. This **** place never ceases to amaze me. Are the games past your bedtime? You don't like being the only show in town? This is a friggin' GREAT opener and I can't wait.

The Bills’ bye week will be Week 6. All teams traveling to Europe have their bye the following week. Pretty sure I read that somewhere.

The Bills are middle of the pack (i.e., anywhere from 12-20). Anyone who suggests they should be higher is a homer, and anyone who suggests they should be lower is a contrarian or has an axe to grind.

When it comes to QBs I think a “tier” ranking system makes more sense. I think there are only four QBs right now I would build a franchise around without question: Mahomes, Josh, Burrow, and Herbert. Rodgers is out because of age, and Hurts is still a question mark for me.

I am also always intrigued by the NFL uniform changes. The #nosleevestripes guy has a great point for on-field jerseys, but what he fails to understand (or acknowledge) is that the stripes look good on the retail jerseys sold to consumers that actually do have sleeves. Without the stripes, those retail jerseys suddenly look like something is missing. My $.02, anyway… With respect to the Bills, I’m all for a game or two each season of wearing the 80s/early 90s throwbacks with a red helmet. Just don’t change the “primary” uniform.

Torrence didn't give up a sack last year -- in the SEC. If you're going to assert something as fact, at least have your stuff straight. Cook's use increased as the season went on -- what you would expect for a rookie. The meshing of an OL is an art, not a science. I think you bring in guys with talent and you expect your coaches to put them together in the best way. Clearly the Bills are a passing team that wants to be able to run the ball when they have to. I don't think they are "misaligned."

What is "amiss" is that when player acquisitions don't work out, fans blame the GM's "strategy" rather than acknowledging that every plan doesn't pan out. Beane has tried to build the offense up around Josh every year.

Perhaps the most backhanded compliment of a player I've ever read. LOL

Riddick is unfortunately a bit biased in his commentary. Last year at this time he was gaga over Trey Lance, proclaiming he “can do things no other NFL QB can do.” This year it’s Richardson with the same rhetoric. He conveniently ignores Josh Allen when making those statements.
