  1. Well said. I think fans have an unrealistic perspective of situations like this. It is like any aspect of life; if you don't "have" to do something, some will still do it and some won't. It doesn't mean they don't care or aren't working at perfecting their craft.
  2. Why would the Jests pursue him if Breece is back and healthy? They also have Carter.
  3. Or, they don't want a repeat of last season when they had grocery store clerks manning the secondary...
  4. Liked what I heard from Ed yesterday. Seems to really appreciate the Bills for making this deal and wants to prove to everyone he deserves it.
  5. Good thoughts here. I’ll add that (some) people seem to act as though Josh will start to decline in a year or two. That’s absurd. He’s only 27. If he continues to avoid significant injury we’re looking at another 7-8 (at least) years of franchise QB production. Going “all in” at the risk of having a significantly depleted roster in a year or two is foolish. It does take a tremendous amount of good fortune to win a Super Bowl, even with a great team. The roster this year is the deepest across the board it has been in Beane’s tenure as GM. Some still complain about the WR room but I’m comfortable with the pieces they added this spring on offense. The OL should be a good bit better, the RB room is better, the TE room is better, and the overall WR corps is deeper than last year. What we don’t have is a proven threat opposite Diggs. Davis has shown flashes but also maddening inconsistency. DHop is the shiny toy everyone wants to add, but we can’t make him come here for the money we can afford to pay. I think going “all in” is a bit in the eye of the beholder, also. Beane knows he needs to continue to push to make the roster better and you can’t take a year off. I don’t view what he has done this spring as an “all in” move. Not in the slightest. It’s competent management that addressed specific holes in the roster. I also don’t believe he has “mortgaged the future” in order to win a championship this year.
  6. Pretty ignorant take. Hamlin is no more susceptible to that condition reoccurring than you or I are.
  7. I have no idea why some people believe they are “entitled” to private medical information about someone simply because he/she is a public figure.
  8. Yes. That’s exactly what I’m telling you. I’m sorry you don’t understand it. It’s actually extremely common. Donning my pop psychologist hat, I think your own dislike of Hochul is coloring your comments.
  9. It’s called nerves, and yes, even those who do a lot of public speaking get them. Give her a break — she did a heluva lot to make sure the Bills stay here.
  10. Leslie Frazier is a good man and a good football coach. I think he’s kidding himself about getting another shot as a HC but I respect him pursuing his dream. I do believe he has coached his last game for the Bills.
  11. Glad someone bumped this topic. I have said I’m not a fan of Murph’s play-by-play but there is no question he is a member of the Bills family and deserves our support. I’m not a “prayers” guy but I wish him all the best and was sorry to hear he was not at today’s event.
  12. All in all a very well done “show.” Some definitely heartfelt words from Terry and I’m so glad to be a fan of this organization.
  13. Makes sense.
  14. Really? You're asking that question? Ok, I'll pretend you're not a simpleton and answer. The goal is to build an organization that consistently wins games, makes the playoffs, and is regularly in the conversation of competing for a championship. Beane and McDermott have passed that test with flying colors. One out of 32 teams wins a Super Bowl each year.
  15. Perhaps the LAMPiest of LAMP posts ever. Jesus Christ. 🤦🏻‍♂️
  16. LOLOLOLOL How people write crap like this is beyond me…
  17. It feels more and more as though Basham and Epenesa will be camp casualties. It’s disappointing and no feather in Beane’s cap to whiff on two 2nd rounders, but at least he’s not doubling down on the mistake by standing pat. Hard to criticize this signing.
  18. Nope. Game winning drive, down the right sideline.
  19. Fun to see that arena rocking…can’t wait for the Sabres to continue it. Congrats Bandits!!!
  20. You can bet on it. The NHL loves Buffalo and showcasing a new stadium in that manner will be great for the crowd and TV as well.
  21. There’s no question this is Oliver’s year to prove he deserves a big 2nd contract. We’ll see what he does with it.
  22. Congrats on a long run, although I can't say I thought his stuff was particularly enlightening.
  23. I see numerous indicators...improved OL, Dorsey's 2nd year of play calling, and Cook having a full year of NFL experience/weight training under his belt. We may have found our modern day dual-threat RB. And if for some reason he doesn't take that jump, Beane stocked the cupboard with a couple of nice vet pieces.
  24. I'm going with James Cook. Just a gut feeling.
