  1. It was the best four-year period in Bills fan history and I enjoyed every minute of it. Yes, the SB losses stung, but I wouldn’t give up those memories for anything. The people who only give credit for the “ring” and don’t enjoy the ride are out to lunch, in my opinion.
  2. Good thoughts. You're right, it's possible.
  3. I’m still not sold on the Jets, even with Rodgers. I’m not sure Saleh can coach his way out of a paper bag.
  4. Bingo. McD screwed the pooch with that press conference. If he says “Diggs is here, but won’t be at practice today and we are mutually working through some things and we expect him to continue to be a huge part of our team” then the story doesn’t get nearly as much attention. I really don’t know what he was thinking. He likely regrets it himself.
  5. Good point. But you have to admit Schefter is a ho.
  6. Yeah, media ***** Schefter wouldn't lead with anything other than the highest profile player involved...
  7. Was just going to mention you in this thread, Bill. I remember your man-crush on Mallett. So sad that this happened to such a young man.
  8. This is our standard M.O. when traveling in general. We only do tours and exhibits if they are truly "must see."
  9. Thanks for the tip on Tower of London. We were going to do that but I’ll now try and convince Mrs. E-ball not to. Planning to go to Oblix at the Shard for tea…good choice?
  10. I can’t go to Bar Bill and not get a mini Beef on Weck.
  11. In the “name your breakout player” thread a month or so back I named Cook. I think he’s going to be a beast. I also think Elam will quiet his detractors; he was already showing signs of “getting it” at the end of the year.
  12. Isn't every player in the league available for trade "under the right circumstances?" What a ridiculous thread.
  13. Thanks but no thanks. The Bills have the best kits in the league; just wish they'd do away with the monochromatic look (except all whites).
  14. I believe you two gentlemen have succinctly summed up @Einstein's presence in this forum.
  15. There are so many variables involved in reaching/winning a Super Bowl: talent, coaching, injuries, and plain old luck. A good/great coach is one who has his team perennially in the mix to compete for a championship. The "how many years to reach a Super Bowl" analysis is ridiculous. By any measure McD is a good/great coach. As an NFL fan, all you can realistically hope for is that your team is consistently "in the mix" to compete for a championship. We have that. I don't know what @Einstein's purpose is other than to be a self-aggrandizing blowhard on a fan football forum.
  16. Check out the Ryan O’Halloran article in the Buffalo News this morning. He pontificates about the timing of the extensions and what to expect as a fan. I think it makes a lot of sense and would be happy if that’s how things worked out.
  17. I don’t know how much they will drop…there are a TON of Bills fans who want to go to this game and are making a vacation out of it. I think it’s a “bite the bullet” type of situation unless you are a real risk taker and wait until literally the last second — which is fine for a local, but not those who are traveling to the event. Last year I thought the price of the Bills/Rams tickets would drop as we got closer to the opener, and that never really happened.
  18. Yeah, that’s the benefit of only shopping for two… 😉
  19. Such a no-brainer. Love it.
  20. I don’t have the stomach to wait it out when it’s something I really want to see. I think I got a little bit of a better deal than you did but it was still a kick in the wallet. Looking forward to the premium area amenities for sure, though. Appears to be an awesome venue.
  21. Just texted you.
  22. I can get behind this sort of analysis except for the bolded...last season the team dealt with unprecedented challenges and still went 14-4. We just remember that last game and think they stunk all year. Remember how they shot out of the gate? Every team has up-and-down moments in a season...and this year will be no different.
  23. Oh, for **** sake.
  24. I guess I have a bit of a problem with the "not good enough" part. The Bills are now a perennial contender -- isn't that all anyone can realistically hope for in this league? If you are going to say that only a Super Bowl victory defines success, I guess that's one perspective...I just don't look at it that way.
