  1. According to the OL thread where all of the armchair analysts are ripping Cody, that would seem to be the pick. I don’t think very many people know what they’re watching when analyzing OL play so I’ll let the coaches make those decisions. Personally, there is not a player on the Bills’ roster right now that I’m “upset” about.
  2. Wow, 98! If we could all be so lucky. RIP Mrs. Belichick.
  3. Josh Allen is a dual threat. Fans would do well to simply remember that. His running is a weapon. The ONLY problem I have with the read option calls is when Josh does not protect himself or the football. He generally makes good decisions when running but if he can simply clean up ball security there is absolutely NO reason to take these designed option plays out of the offense. This is football in the 2020s, folks.
  4. Casual fans grading OL play is one of the more amusing aspects of this (and any) football forum, because I think 90% of us (myself included) have no idea what we are talking about.
  5. Not really. It’s borderline negligence that they weren’t prepared for that game.
  6. If you believe my post was supporting Bledsoe’s inclusion you are mistaken. I was simply giving another perspective.
  7. I like what some have recently said on this board about the HOF. Remember, it’s the Hall of Fame, not the Hall of Stats. Basically, if you tell the story of the NFL does Player X need to be mentioned? In many ways Bledsoe was a part of the beginning of the pass-happy NFL. He also gave us an all-time nickname: Drew Bledsoe-much-he-needed-a-transfusion.
  8. The general rule for Sundays was always that the visiting team dictates the network. AFC road team = CBS and NFC road team = FOX. That's why every time an NFC team visitedd the Bills the game was on FOX and when the Bills were at an NFC team it was on CBS. Even last year, though, they allowed for some of these games to be flipped. I don't recall the rationale.
  9. #16 passing yards all time. #22 passing TDs. I don't think "HOF" either, but it's not as crazy as you think. Went to a Super Bowl.
  10. They've been doing that for a few years now. It's not strictly based upon the visiting team any more (although that is still primarily the case).
  11. Ahh...that might be it. Daniel Jones (Dook) vs. Mitch Trubisky (UNC). But in the Triangle it looks like they're showing Denver at Pittsburgh. So again, who the hell knows?
  12. Why in the hell is southeastern NC getting NYG at Chicago rather than JAX/TEN or BUF/MIA?
  13. Great work, Pete!
  14. It's early, I know, but judging by what Beane, McD, and his teammates said about him before last Sunday, and then watching his performance against the Jests, it is clear that I completely missed the boat on wanting him out of Buffalo. I don't think players read this site but if they do, then Mr. Murphy, you have my sincere apology. This Bills' DL is fierce, and Murphy is a significant part of that.
  15. I've also thought that Josh perhaps is too hyped up at the start. It looked Sunday as though some of those read options were designed to allow him to take some hits early and get into the flow. Now we just need to figure out what to do to get him a little more pumped after halftime. His 3rd quarters have been atrocious.
  16. Seriously? That's awesome, I didn't know he was a Bills fan before being drafted.
  17. Neither of which speak well to the "awesome" job everyone says Flores is doing.
  18. That’s piss poor preparation by Flores. What, they expected Cam to run Brady’s offense?
  19. For all of this talk about how well coached the Fish are, can anyone explain why they were completely unprepared for Cam Newton to run the ball on Sunday? Our old friend Shaq Lawson got abused, and some of the comments I read from the defense suggest they were “surprised” that Newton would run. Preparedness is one of the strengths of our coaching staff. This game has the makings of another easy Bills win.
  20. The play happened in the first quarter of a scoreless game. Try again?
  21. Please. Stop. Starting. Threads. It's bad enough when you respond to them.
  22. Bump. You know, sooner or later some of you knuckleheads are going to start listening to me.
  23. And if they don't, I'm betting the offense and defense will.
  24. As if we needed more proof, this post absolutely, positively proves that you have no idea what you're watching. You may as well watch cartoons on Sunday afternoons and then come back to check the scores. Good lord.
  25. Hey, I forgot about our old friend Omar Kelly. Time to start badgering him! Edit: oh, that's right I can't. He blocked me.
