Come again? -
I was 4-0 last year, and my predictions were not "easy" ones. I haven't thought about this much yet but will do so and return to post at a later time.

That comment really stuck with me when I read it this morning. Jake’s response came after he was asked about Aaron Rodgers calling him the “2nd best receiver on the roster” when he was cut by Green Bay last year (it’s one of the many things Rodgers had his panties twisted about). What resonates is “the kid’s elite.” That is how Josh Allen is now viewed by players in the NFL. During Rodgers’ recent interview he said that players come to Green Bay “to play with me.” Well, guess what. They’re coming to Buffalo to play with Josh, too. We’ve got an elite QB who will be, God-willing, running the show in Buffalo for the next 10-15 years. Enjoy it while we can. Edit: mods, please do not move this to the Kumerow thread. It is about Josh, not Kumerow.

That "Go Bills" fight song has to be one of the worst things I've ever heard. Just embarrassing. HBD Marv. Wish you'd have put a curfew on those boys...

Training Camp practice 8/3: Pads come on
eball replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Big difference in this year's camp is that we don't have a lot of future fry cooks out there...our cuts are going to be on another roster come September. -
Very interesting. I called AT&T this morning to have NHL Center Ice removed from my account (there’s really no point in paying to watch the Sabres) and the rep did that, and then informed me (without me asking) that I’m receiving Sunday Ticket free this year as consideration for my loyalty as a DTV customer. So there’s that. No haggling phone call this year!

Even Mahomes knows there’s not much he can learn from Lamont.

Please, go back to the last two seasons and let me know what you find! Spoiler alert: you’d have won a LOT of money following my lead

The Topics We're Talking about Show How Strong the Roster Is
eball replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Miss them? Nah. I sure enjoy laughing about them now though. -
I haven't read anything about Star. I'm bummed about Harry and hope Joe is off on this one, or that we'll see something else when the pads go on.

Not good news for Horrible Harry (from Joe B. at The Athletic) : One of the most up-in-the-air roster decisions will be all along the defensive line, and defensive tackle could be the most difficult choice of them all. Vernon Butler, Harrison Phillips and Justin Zimmer will all need to play their way onto the roster in 2021, and there may not be enough room for all three of them when they decide on the final roster. As it’s been for much of camp, Zimmer has looked like the superior player between him and Phillips. That was especially true on Monday, as Zimmer showed his ability to work up the field and get pressure on the quarterback. He whipped through offensive lineman Jordan Devey during one-on-one drills and provided some good pressure during his team drill opportunities as well. Although Phillips is more of a one-technique in role only, his best contribution since joining the team has been as an interior pass rusher. Phillips hasn’t really found his way in that area to this point in camp, often struggling to disengage from the block and fighting his way into the backfield. He hasn’t looked like the same player who started the 2019 season well before his torn ACL. The game is also changing and getting smaller and more athletic all along the defensive line, and it makes you wonder if the Bills could look to trade Phillips to a team in need of some defensive line depth at some point. The coaching staff also loves Zimmer, and there is a deep respect for Zimmer’s work ethic inside the locker room. As of now, I’d say Zimmer is ahead in the chase for a spot on the 53. ----- Zimmer has been one of the guys I said to look out for...he just works his tail off and has a lot of physical ability. It would not surprise me to see him make this team and play meaningful snaps.

You do realize, I hope, that what you typed is the exact opposite of what Daboll says about Davis. Daboll: Gabe Davis is a pro. He’ll continue to get better and better. Can play all the spots. #Bills — Chris Brown (@ChrisBrownBills) August 2, 2021 Carry on.
