  1. Not even sure what this means, but I have been telling anyone and everyone that Flores is one of the most overrated head coaches in history. And I did it before this season.
  2. This is hilarious. Since doing an “amazing” job his first year in Miami this guy has to be considered one of the worst head coaches in the league. I’ve posted many times before about how badly he botched Tua’s first year and how he had his team completely unprepared in last year’s finale, but the embarrassment of losing to the Jags takes the cake. Flores sucks and eff the Fish.
  3. Why in the world would you do that?
  4. Or, to the “experts” on this board, he’s not “instinctual” enough and only gets away with what he does because of his athletic ability. In other words, they claim he’s wasting his athletic talents. Never a mention of his youth and how the coaches love him, or what his role is in the defense.
  5. Well, first of all, congrats on your new addition! I presume you’ve already purchased a Bills Mafia Babes onesie. I am SO stoked to be headed to Nashville on Monday. Flying in around 10 a.m. It will be my first time back in that stadium since the-game-that-shall-not-be-mentioned. Let’s Go, Buffalo!
  6. Don’t you mean “we?” Put @Billyboy on life support…he won’t be with us long…
  7. Yup, they’ve got a 1-2 yr window before they have to pay the QB.
  8. I watched the game last night and it felt like a new era. Really bummed about Mitts and Joki. Losing them both for a couple of weeks sucks.
  9. Agreed. He’s a starter and was playing at an All-Pro level. You don’t rest him in a huge conference game if he’s ready. So silly.
  10. More than that, he’s a good human being. I look back and laugh at the morons who questioned his character when the Bills traded for him.
  11. 10 of the past 11 regular season weeks those sentiments have been SPOT ON.
  12. Very dangerous strategy. If the pick isn’t called you’ve let a guy get wide open for probably a huge play.
  13. I think that’s 100% accurate. Pretty sure it’s been suggested/implied that McD didn’t feel he had enough time to properly evaluate the QBs so he traded out of the pick. And although Mahomes’ play speaks for itself, it’s also helpful to remind folks that prior to that draft he was anything but a “sure thing.”
  14. Yep, no intel on the bottom half of the unis yet. I’m sure we’ll see the “reveal” in a Bills tweet today or tomorrow.
  15. This has absolutely nothing to do with being “sensitive” — it’s about acting like an adult. Do you walk around the grocery store and yell, “F*** this place!” at the top of your lungs because they are out of milk? “It’s a football game so it’s ok” is just about the most ignorant response imaginable. Here’s the thing: not everybody swears regularly. I actually use words like s-h-i-t and f*** all the time. I believe they are a part of our natural language. But I don’t shout them, and certainly not at people trying to do their jobs. Being outside at a football game doesn’t change that.
  16. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
  17. This is actually a good question. I think if you are at a game live and are shouting obscenities you’re a douche. I mean, what grown ass man or woman thinks that is acceptable? In the privacy of your own home, do what you want.
  18. can’t wait to read your column this week
  19. If I was (a) a public figure, and (b) sent electronic messages to others in my industry, then I’d happily comply. I know who I am and I know what I’ve written. I feel pretty comfortable.
  20. I browsed that Oilers forum just for kicks (didn’t register), but I truthfully didn’t see a whole lot of people feeling optimistic about their team’s chances this week.
  21. Cover21 talked about this play…his take was that Diggs probably lost track of the DB, perhaps thinking he was closer than he was. I mean, let’s face it, a receiver isn’t typically running wide open 60 yards down the field. I’m sure Diggs is pissed at himself for not scoring on that play.
  22. Nice job. Bottom line, while the Oilers have a few very good players they are nowhere near the team Buffalo is. I mean, you can’t look at this game objectively and predict an Oilers victory. Can crazy things happen? Of course. At this point the weather looks to be perfect, the stands will be at least half full of red, white, and blue, and the Bills have answered every question asked of them. The key to this game is simply to take care of business and then take a couple of weeks to recharge and prep for the playoff run.
  23. And also a tremendous job of taking what we want.
