It's based off of CDC research indicating that most individuals are not contagious after 3 days of symptoms, regardless of testing. This is why they've reduced the public isolation guidance to 5 days, as well, with an extra 5 days of precautionary mask wearing.

Which is SO MUCH MORE than most coaches (even in 2021!) in the league do. Furthermore- for a coach who is so defensive-minded and conservative in nature, that's a really good sign of how willing he is to learn and adapt.

...I dunno if any of this is surprising. Regardless of who it is, the media tends to call teams on 7-game win streaks unstoppable, and ignore the nuances of their games. They did that with us last year. Heck they did that with us when we were on a 4-game win streak THIS year. Sure- they're using the streak as a way to validate the world's 20-year-old obsession with Belichick, but, I mean, they're just milking the situation for a story line. What else are they supposed to do with it?

Are Bills bars not filled with big crowds of Bills fans?

I'm connecting in Newark on my way to other places. When I left Dulles, it was packed with Bills fans and the TSA guy at the checkpoint told me I was one of MANY Bills fans he's seen in the past few days (I'm wearing a Bills hoodie). I also ran into a NO native on the shuttle to my gate, who told me, "you're going to kill us. And our city is FILLED with Bills fans right now."
