  1. Everything listed is Beane. He was hired over a year ago. Did he get a one year free vacation before he started his job? These are the solid facts, not some alternate reality. You are judged by your actions, not your future fantasies.
  2. NO! Every signing I listed was him. Forget the loss of cap on our two oline players to retirement. That still is almost 33 million dead cap for players who are playing for other teams. That alone is more dead cap than the next closest team in dead cap. With just minimal return for those trades. he has been GM for well over a year. We can judge him for over a year of past performance. The facts speak for themselves. Future hopes and prayers are not reality. Just blind faith. And past performance does not support future faith.
  3. We can not judge Beane on this year’s draft yet, it is way too soon. But we now have a 52+ Million Dead Cap. Worst by a long, long field from the rest of the league. How has he done so far with his signings and decisions? Forget the poor return on his trades, ugg! Look at our Oline mess and our WR disaster. Look how his talent evaluations have fared after the final season roster releases. Signings by Beane for the Bills. 4. There are different types of people. Different personality traits. There are lemmings There are sheep There are those who find comfort in blindly calming their fears and doubts by letting someone else telling them don’t worry, be happy There are those who prefer to have others think for them and tell them what to think There are people who prefer to analyze, to think, and decide for themselves There are leaders and doers, and there are followers There are those that just prefer to drift through life accepting what happens and what they are told There are those that believe *&%$ just happens There are those that believe we can change and affect what happens There are those that prefer to go through life wearing rose colored glasses There are those that want you to prove yourself and show them the money There are those who prefer to believe in the mystical process that is not fully spelled out There are those that believe trust and faith must be earned by actions, and not just unquestionably granted There are those who see the world in only black and white There are those who see the world in infinite shades of grey. Those on TBD are many variations of the above. Everyone is not the same as you. What you view, and how you view it affects your judgment, as it does theirs. One man’s weed may be another man’s flower. That is life.
  5. You usually deal in reality. You are the one playing fantasy games. Beane was not involved in that draft. Saying it is so does not make it so. His first Buffalo draft was this year, and even you should be able to admit the preseason is too early to judge the quality of the draft. Make a statement in November about his first draft and it might have some significance then.
  6. It is not all about the players. What is Castillo doing to help the team? What about the Pegula's decisions in this? What about the "McBeane's" collective decisions in this? Total lack of good decision making concerning the O Line. Questionable talent decisions on WR's. They had little choice on Ritchie and Wood, but their FA signings to replace them were pure Bill's history based pocket book choices, not talent based. Letting a pro bowl LT go to get a "maybe" choice at your future QB when you already lost 2/3 of your strong left side of your OL was not the brightest staffing moment. Considering your right side was already pathetic. Although Miller's performance may explain away my doubts about their evaluation about Miller last year that I did not comprehend at that time. I find myself blaming the management and coaching more for expecting more out of individual players than they even have in themselves to offer. I agree with not putting Allen's future in the hands of this putrid Oline. And giving the two rookies a chance on the OLine, it will not get much worse considering the vets we are starting instead. Only Groy and Dawkins have shown me any glimmer of hope on this collection of mediocrity. Hey, I'd offer Ritchie a contract containing his own private live in Shrink during the season if it would bring him back to play at his best again, LOL.
  7. The post you asked for a statement on said since McD was hired. Sammy was traded after that time, and also the poster mentioned FAs and that would also include Woods and Gilmore as well. While I might have not thought Gilmore was worth what he got, he also was expensive and talented.
  8. Okay I will bite. 2 former number one draft picks. Sammy and Marcell. A pro bowl OL player Glenn. All were talented and expensive. No matter what you might personally believe. Our record was not any better than the team was under Marrone in 2014 and only one more game than the 1st year under Rex. What does this prove?
  9. . Any VPN service with a server based in the UK would allow you to view it. Some services are free, and some cost 30 to 40 a year. I have Nord VPN, which is among the best, but it is not cheap. VPN services allow you to get past any location based streaming restrictions, as you appear to be in the location of the VPN server you are attached to. Most good VPN services have servers worldwide and across the US and Canada.
  10. It is interesting how so many here assume the worst of an Ex Bill due to prejudice. If I was on a jury, this sounds like a he said, she said issue. As for the assault, if it was assault the fact they had multiple continued consequential sexual experiences immediately after the alleged assault would cause me to doubt her version. If someone had assaulted me, I would not continue to willingly, immediately continue the assaults with the person that has just assaulted me. I'm neither a doctor or a lawyer but: 1.) I would wonder if there are tests that can identify if the actual herpes virus is of the identical DNA in each party. 2.) I would need proof that he was diagnosed with conclusive tests before the incident occurred. 3.) I would question whether he infected her, or visa versa. It goes both ways, without proof he was already infected before he was with her, you can not assume that he infected her, rather than she infected him.
  11. Oh my, you mean their whole sexual relationship was always a threesome with Marcell? O?h my!
  12. I always have thought about the modern day marketing opportunities for older players. I wonder how much fans would pay to have a home QB like a Jim Kelly throw a staged, easy goal line chip pass to the fan at the home stadium goal line. Have former players in full uniform as extras on the defense and offense. Announcer voice would say something like “Kelly drops back, throws it, touchdown to “Joe Fan”,(inserting the buyers name). Add in sound effects, stock video of stadium fan reaction. Give them a signed DVD or a stick of the video. You could really quickly crank them out. Modern computerized editing and digitizing would make it economical, quick, easy and very realistic. Or even just get an agreement with the players in the video. Have everything pre- recorded except the fan catching the ball in the endzone. Show the QB drop back, make the throw, then mix in the video made there of the fan actually catching a pass in the end zone of the stadium, along with the stadium reaction and special effects. Have the announcer voice say “Touchdown (Joe Fan)!” It would make a cool video, even if you actually could not honestly say “I caught a touchdown pass from Jim Kelly (or whoever) at “The Cap” like the first possibility”. Again the DVD could still be signed by the NFL players involved if you could arrange it. The possibilities could go way beyond just player M&G and autographs.
  13. Why not approach the Bills and have them help sponsor it at the Stadium complex during bye week? It would make it a lot more relevant. The only thing extra it could possibly require might be temporary NFTA shuttle bus routes to and from the stadium during the event. The few overnight visitors could easily be housed in nearby motel/hotel space and their shuttle service. Between the practice facilities and other stadium facilities, it would make more sense rain or shine. If you wanted to try to make it larger to make it more economically feasible as a sponsor, you could include the Sabres and work with the Pegulas, holding it at their downtown Sabres facilities. It would be more practical and more feasible than a stand alone event. If you come up with a viable plan and the finances, I can't believe the Pegulas would not gladly work with you on it. They could definitely find many ways to profit and benefit from it.
  14. I'm sorry. In the real world, with real consequences, you don't get away with directly causing a problem and then get to be rewarded with the excuse that you did pretty well considering all the problems you directly caused. Only in the gullible "fake news" believer's world do you get away with this. And at this point, we don't even know yet the actual value of those draft picks he gutted nearly every core player for. And we will not know for some time . It is way too early for any Kudos for him and his actions.
  15. Nothing has changed. If Allen is not playing, we still have a potentially flawed developmental QB who may have been drafted too high out of their desperation. We still will not have seen what his floor or ceiling actually is. If he is playing and we are that bad, we still are searching for a Franchise QB. We are a long way from a complete team. Our O-line is a mess. We have a bottom 10 WR group. Beyond Shady and Clay, our offensive talent ranges from questionable to pedestrian and pathetic. All those gaping holes still need to be filled. We need the draft position badly. I have no blind faith in the process, or Mc-Beane or the coaches. We have a good kicker and a secondary. No one else has actually proven anything yet. We backed into the playoffs last year, thank you Dalton. We did not play appreciably better than a single season under Rex or Marrone. On paper the Defense may be better than it was last year. But we don’t know yet. If we are bad this year, play for the better draft. Mc-Beane created all those holes by dumping talent that didn’t fit “their” system, rather than creating a system built to win with the talent they had. They created an incredible anchor of dead cap without regard for the cap consequences of their “purge”. Unless Allen plays and is lights out, nothing has changed or has been proven.
  16. You call it confidence, I call it Fanfidence. An Oline and a WR core that only a mother or a fan could love.
  17. We have one solid runner. Shady, if he can stay healthy all season. After that an end of career rental with unknown tread left on his wheels. TT helped with our run game and he is now a Brown. A terrible Oline and a horrible group of WRs. One proven good WR. One reliable TE in Clay, if he can stay healthy. If Allen does actually develop, it will most likely affect the 2019 season, not this season. While we on paper should be better on defense, our offense is anemic. Most of our Offensive starters would be average backups on most of the better teams.
  18. I always enjoy learning new things in Cover 1 articles. Good Stuff!
  19. I was not happy with this draft because of the excessive cost and risk of the first round pick, but this is an A++ pick. His upside is huge. We really had a ton of critical holes we were not able to fill because of the cost of the 1st round pick, but he sure potentially filled one of them. If he performs anywhere close to his potential and can avoid injury. I see a Probowl in his future.
  20. How is your own statement stating we traded the 12th overall for the the 7th pick not a 1st round? Your logic is beyond reason.
  21. You do realize you just repeated exactly what the OP said, you just rephrased him, and then said he was exaggerating.
  22. Stadium Realities 1.) New professional sports stadiums are not built for the benefit of the spectators, they are built to increase the profits of a select group of billionaires, developers, and a handful of businesses within a very narrow radius of the stadium. 2.) An NFL stadium will never return to the taxpayers a profit, the cost of building them and the surrounding infrastructure to support them will never provide an economic benefit equal to the cost to the taxpayers. Any economic trickle down effect will reach a very small minority, and will be a tiny portion of the overall cost. 3.) It does not matter whether the stadium is open, closed, retractable. The cost will always be much greater than the economic benefits. The location or other possible uses will never make the economic benefits equal to or greater than the cost to the taxpayers. 4.) If the cost of an NFL stadium and the supporting infrastructure was not subsidized by the taxpayer, NFL owners would have much different views of what an NFL stadium would look like and what it’s design features and benefits would be. They would be much more Spartan and much more basic. 5.) Professional Sports Stadiums are not about the needs of the taxpayers. They are about the wants and desires of very select groups of individuals who can profit financially from them, and a small minority of the taxpayers who are fans of that sport who believe all the other taxpayers should be obligated to support their individual desire for entertainment.
  23. Reading comp 101. That is Not what he said. " Any of the rest could be there at 12." He said he thought any one of the rest might be there at 12, not that all of the rest could be there at 12.
