I think they weren't willing and the Saints over payed. Now they need to explain to the team why they cut all those players for a safety and explain to Graham how they can afford Byrd but he needs to wait. I think the Saints made a huge mistake here.

Polian has been shocked at how high the market is for CB's so I'm not sure where the value is there. So far there isn't one player I wish we would have signed for the money they got.

You think we'd get him for a million less than Manny Lawson? You seem to think 3 million is a large offer by saying "I truly believe he is worth that much".

What he does outstanding is support the run and tackle. Maybe that's more of what they're looking for, if so I'd think he's on their radar.
