  1. You really have to round up to think 40 percent is close to 75 percent.
  2. No man I do. I have 7 and 9 year old boys that were born in Charlotte but think they're from Buffalo largely because of their connection to the sports teams. And it's most certainly an emotional thing for us in regards to our relationship with each other (me and my sons). But I just thought mourning over Ralph Wilson and owing him for what it did for him and his sons to me was over the top. I'm honestly not trying to be a jerk because obviously it's effecting this gentleman and I do feel bad for him.
  3. I'm sure you've seen this persons many posts lately so I'm sure you know he's not even really looking at the content of whats being talked about. He/she is just taking every opportunity to bash the Bills.
  4. I honestly feel terrible that you're having a hard time with Ralph Wilson's death and I know I'm going to sound a bit mean but your post is a bit creepy to me. I mean we all owe a debt to the man for bringing a team into our city that most of us grandfathered into. Maybe it will make you feel better to understand that we treated him very good as well. We turned his small investment into something he could never have imagined. But I gotta tell ya sobbing into your keyboard and only sleeping 30 minutes last night is not normal over the death of a guy that owned your favorite football team.
  5. Says a guy that post constantly on a Bills site. You spend a considerable amount of time thinking about a team you despise and you think the Bills have issues.
  6. You hope we don't play good on defense?
  7. What has drafting Cousins and RGIII done for the Redskins that everyone should use that as the model?
  8. If you would just believe the opposite it would come true.
  9. Can you explain the benefits to the team with and without your doubt?
  10. Most good teams change schemes on every defensive series. What do you think of them?
  11. Very good points. My emotions were swaying reading posts about respecting the timing. Honestly what you just said makes a lot of sense, that we're not doing anything inappropriate by wondering on a message board about the proverbial elephant in the room.
  12. I swear some of the folks on here like you have such a great amount of football knowledge. Seriously.
  13. I am with you sir. I don't understand the argument "just get someone later". Tall receivers dominate in the NFL yet there aren't many 6'3" or taller that can play to come out of college each year. 11 of the 15 top yardage leaders last year we're 6'3" or taller with Dez Bryant not counting at 6'2". 10 of the 13 receivers with 10 or more TD's were 6'3" or taller with Dez Bryant and Marvin Jones being 6'2". When there's a 6'5" receiver available to you at your pick with the measurables that KO mentions in his post you better be extra sure he's not the guy, because they are so rare and so crucial to have. There's only 3 WR's 6'3" or taller ranked in the top 100 prospects. Kellyto83TD said there's only a minimal difference between him and someone else lower, he couldn't be more wrong.
  14. Do you think this article made it seem that's what he meant? I'm seriously wondering if I read into that wrong.
  15. First the interview with EJ just confirms why I like and have so much faith in this kid. At this point I'd be shocked if he didn't succeed. Obviously none of can predict if he'll be a super bowl winning type of QB but I find it difficult to imagine him being an NFL castaway. Second, in this article Sessler mentions at the NFL combine Marrone said the decision makers could go in any direction at the QB position. He said today Marrone said their all in with EJ. I've never heard anything of the contrary to EJ being the guy. Have any of you? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000336423/article/doug-marrone-buffalo-bills-all-in-with-ej-manuel
  16. Please God let EJ put is in this terrible situation of having an over 30 QB we have to break the bank to keep.
  17. I can go either way on this argument. I understand it appears these championships were won prior to the QB "breaking the bank" but a couple were after (Brees and Eli), even though they did cost a bit more later. But the counter argument could be that these teams haven't been irrelevant after the QB got paid, yes it got harder, but everyone of these continue to go to superbowls, make playoff, are competitive, in the discussion of being able to come back, or at the least have a chance of trimming down and rebuilding with cheaper options at other positions because of the QB's they have.
  18. Some posters think us reaching out to troubled players like Britt basically shows that we're desperate. I look at it as our new regime being confident that troubled players will conform to our structure and our existing players will change them.
  19. You're right but I don't think that necessarily means anything. You couldn't get a first round pick for most QB's after their rookie year. Brees, Rodgers, etc.
  20. No way, he'll be taken within the first three picks of the first round.
  21. I hardly think Spikes and the thought of Britt means we're turning into a training ground for troubled players come for one year deals. Pettine used the Bills as a stepping stone just like every other coordinator that gets a head coaching job. C'mon dude, you're stretching things just a bit, don't you think?
