I'm not trying to argue with your point or diminish the value of 4 WR's but the differentiation is that the 5 o lineman are on the field every offensive play where 4 WR's obviously are not. In a two tight end set I don't consider the second tight end a starter, nor would the 2 WR's that come off. So without getting semantic there really aren't 4 starting positions for WR's like o lineman.

Your idea of getting rid of Stevie is IMO counterproductive. Let's not anoint Goodwin and Williams ahead of him just yet or even Woods for that matter. Why can't we wait and see how these young players develop and be sure before hoping? We're strong at WR with possibilities but nothing proven yet. We have the cap room and when it's the right time to show the players the door lets do that. After this year would be an appropriate time to think about these things.

As much as I'd love to go TE, I agree that the Tackle position needs to be addressed. I think it's a slight stretch to rely on an immediate starter in the 3rd round, not that it can't happen, but the percentages IMO go down exponentially.

He's 27 how in the world do you come up with "his best years are long gone"? Did you see our QB's last year? Yes his numbers dropped off and he was often injured only playing 12 games, but that statement is beyond absurd. How does he have one year left on a 5 year contract signed in 2012?

I wouldn't be happy. By every account this years draft is as deep as many experts have seen, so it would seem having picks in this draft would have more value than next year.

I think all of these guys should just try to pick who they think they should draft and not who they think they will. This way it's not a prediction, that's the turn off for me.
