  1. That was funny, thanks for the laugh. A statement like that could just be what Mary Wilson is looking for.
  2. After Clemson games they actually let you go onto the field and speak to the players/take pics etc. 2 years ago I went to a game and approached Chad to get a picture showing him my Buffalo Bills visor. I found him to be incredibly rude and full of himself.
  3. I understand some of the criticism surrounding Spiller when it comes to injury concerns, but I never agree on the ability part. The Bills IMO need to build their offensive attack around Spiller as the centerpiece.
  4. What would posses a person to say bomb in an airport? I mean let's forget the self medicating BS, if you say that, you know what you're doing and it's not smart.
  5. He's referenced on several occasions about keeping the Bills in Buffalo. Here's his latest statement after Ralph's passing "“We all know they have a lease. We know the terms of (that) lease, and we also know we have to find a long-term solution to keep the Bills there, and that’s what we’ll continue to work to do, but that’s not our priority right now in the next few days.”
  6. It's widely reported she is the controlling owner. Yes there is a board of trustees and one is Jeff Littman who is one of the executors of Ralph Wilson's estate. Mary is in charge with some advisors to help her execute Ralph's wishes. I'm not saying they won't be sold to someone like Bon Jovi but it's not his decision to be involved or not be involved, it's Mary Wilson's.
  7. It's real simple - the team will be sold to who Mary Wilson decides to sell it to. My guess is that Ralph already told her who he would like them sold to or some guidelines and she'll carry out his wishes. The team isn't up for auction therefore Bon Jovi can want to buy them all he wants but if Mary says no, it's over. The NFL and their owners only have to approve an owner of Mary's choosing (or Ralph's wishes).
  8. He looks like Moe from the three stooges and he has a terrible tick where he clinches his left fist the entire time he's talking. The guy drives me nuts and has been wrong about so many players its ridiculous to even listen to him.
  9. Yeah and what reasonable buyer wouldn't promise a billion dollars to someone at an unknown time?
  10. Yeah and the controlling owner of the Buffalo Bills Mary Wilson is serving on the stadium task force to trick us all.
  11. You can't be enlightened, people have tried, you won't listen.
  12. For those that have been bashing Trump, better hope he's serious now.
  13. I think it's good but I think it will have little impact on players like EJ and other starters. I think they'll play as much or as little as they would in 4 games.
  14. Not trying to be a pest but I would put today's date in the thread title.
  15. What don't you like about Lewan? I'm curious because I felt the same way until I personally started digging into him - and now I like him a lot, in fact more than Matthews at this point (for me).
  16. The Bills are interested in every player.
  17. She's one awesome lady.
  18. Yeah I don't dispute your hunch/feeling that he's going to be great, he very well could be. Heck I thought for sure Maybin could put on some weight to only find out his metabolism was out of control. You could feel Barr can put on weight - but maybe he's a former RB that has already put on as much as he can. Then there's players like Jason Peters that went from a TE to a mauling dominant LT. No one really knows not even those that do this 80 hours a week for millions of dollars. I think it's cool you picked a player you like and you're sticking with it.
  19. I agree that something more formal needs to and will be done to commemorate Ralph's life and contributions. On your comments about camera's - in today's NFL cameras and potential distractions are every where. Camera's can get up close and personal without being any where near the action. I guess if you consider the occasional interview or guys that will seek out the camera as a distraction I could see that. I am finding it hard to believe that a fan such as yourself doesn't like the show. I find it to be extremely interesting.
  20. Sounds like he's a versatile player because he can play 4-3 and 3-4 end and has enough strength to go inside and play tackle in spot duty. Sounds an awful lot like Carrington to me, whom I would have rather had. But maybe the injury was a concern or the suggested agent theory.
  21. C'mon you don't think I was suggesting the entire show be about Mr. Wilson do you? They do a ton of takeaways where they visit a player with his family at home, or a player gets married, or a road trip. The M.C. gives all kinds of story lines within the confines of following an NFL team through its training camp. I'm saying this show could be a creatively tasteful way to honor Mr. Wilson. I also suggested this could be possible because the thought is teams don't want to participate and the NFL will eventually mandate a team to be involved. I thought the NFL and HBO could have a nice pitch if it's sold to the Bills as "we'll do a nice job of honoring Ralph Wilson".
  22. I was just thinking that with the passing of Mr. Wilson the league and maybe now the team may find it to be apropos to use the hard knocks forum to celebrate his life. I could imagine some very emotional story lines that could develop from the commentary portion of the show. I think the potential touching way this could be done could diminish the distraction portion of what hard knocks can bring and make the team rally around the message of playing for Ralph.
  23. Admittedly I haven't seen Barr play much, but I have to tell you based on that he does appear to play very physical. In saying that Maybin was destroying QB's in his highlight reel too, then coupled with his pursuit it sure looked impressive. I actually think even in this reel he looks very very similar to him.
