  1. Several free agent WR's said they wanted Cam throwing to them. Since they've released Steve Smith and signed Cotchery and Tiquan Underwood. What in hell are the Panthers doing? A talented guy like Britt could bail the Panthers out of a dismal off season with respect to the position. But the risk involved in that working out to me leaves the Panthers little choice but to pursue other things like trading for Desean Jackson. I could also see them giving up a lot to move up in the draft.
  2. I'm not sure what in the world you're saying in the first two sentences. You want EJ pushed and you hate our back up QB situation - a mid round rookie is what will cure these ailments for you?
  3. What he really said was " uh especi uh, was kinda expecting a little less, outta them. To tell you the truth great coaching staff". What in the hell?
  4. I understand but NFL.com has Rogers listed as 208 and Britt at 223. 15 lbs in the nfl is a huge difference.
  5. I think it's also possible that drafting a QB in the 1st round could work out the same in the scenario you describe. Most feel these guys are projects. If I was a fan of a team looking to draft a QB this is the scenario I'd like to see with this years crop, again including the first round projected QB's.
  6. I understand your point and when we generalize they appear to be similar situations. But when it's two different people, 4 years difference in NFL experience, and you can even look at things like Britt being significantly bigger than Rogers - it's easy to conclude that they are completely separate decisions for the Bills FO.
  7. I don't think this changes much about how the Raiders potentially change the landscape of the draft for the Bills. My hope is for as many QB's to be taken before out pick as possible to give the Bills as many options as possible. In saying that I still think they could take a QB, Watkins, Mack, or a Tackle which is what I'd expect them to look at even prior to Schaub.
  8. I don't understand this argument. Outside of Stevie, Woods, and Goodwin no other WR should or has a secure job on this team. You carry 5-6. Smart teams when the opportunity presents plan for the future. Sign Britt, draft Evans, it gives you options on how to handle Stevie etc.
  9. I think this is a bit unfair to both players. I don't think Da'rick has been near the problem Britt has been - Britt has done a lot more than Rodgers to warrant a look.
  10. Investing a third round pick while significant, isn't a big enough investment if you're proving not to be good enough to play.
  11. The guy has figured out how to make a huge living.
  12. I don't think he'll be a main playmaker but there's no doubt this kid has the ability to get over the top. Couple that with his bulldog toughness, I think he'll be a contributor in making big plays. Where in I see Woods being more valuable to our team but Goodwin being the bigger playmaker. If that makes any sense. On the other hand if we don't add a legitimate play maker to this offense we may have no choice but to count on Goodwin.
  13. I understand this thread is about trading down but hear me out. I used to gripe about our team being completely void of top end talent. This has dramatically changed imo over the last 3 years especially on the defensive side of the ball. I think our top end talent on offense is Wood and Glenn and our only play maker on the offensive side of the ball is CJ Spiller. Before you start killing me I'm fully aware that players like Woods and Goodwin are capable of being play makers but it's a bit too early to call them that. IMO it's crucial to stay put at pick 9 and take an offensive play maker. I think that player is Evans. 6'5: WR's that run like that don't come around very often.
  14. I completely disagree. I don't think it's out of the question for him to gain 5-10 pounds and be a 6'2" 260 - 265lb rusher.
  15. If nothing changes he'll be our free safety. Not that I think Easley to safety is something to even talk about.
  16. I'd like to see Donald Penn signed. I think it would create so many more options in the draft to go after BPA.
  17. I'd like to see Donald Penn signed. I know he's had an up and down career but I think he'd be a great addition to play right tackle. I think this would open up literally all positions in the draft allowing for best player available.
  18. He'd have to be a real a$$ to not slot a draft picks contract where it should be. Furthermore I don't see what he'd be upset about he got what he wanted from the Bills.
  19. Trade to the Panthers because they have no WR's, so that we don't?
  20. Seems like a reasonable contract to me that I would have been happy with if the Bills signed him at that.
  21. Keep up with the Joneses
  22. Grace Jones
