  1. Ok, I was responding against it being staged and in the worst case scenario so what. What are you saying "no" to?
  2. So. "Hey when I get drafted we'll go nuts". That's still pretty cool.
  3. I agree that his frame is a benefit and he attacks the ball - but the comparisons to Goodwin are pretty obvious and appropriate.
  4. I don't think he'll be a linebacker in the NFL I see him as a hybrid safety. Another poster mention Bryan Scott - that's an excellent comparison. I could certainly be wrong and they see him as a backup for Hughes' position - with added weight as you suggest. He's definitely an interesting player and someone I'll be watching for sure.
  5. Then I don't see him making the team.
  6. Absolutely. There's so much that can be done with the threat of speed. Imagine in that same lineup - Shady goes in motion and lines up in the slot and TT backs up into the shotgun. I'd imagine the defense would be like - what the $#$%. It would remind me of how NE's offense is ran. It's not just routes - it's predetermined plays out of sets that they know can't be defended. Even if the gains are in small chunks it's aggravating to a defense because it's so difficult to deal with.
  7. Are you seriously saying your opinion should be taken as more likely than that of the Bills medical staff?
  8. I agree with this post. He acts like a fan - regretting he didn't do something before it proves necessary to regret it. He's got closet self esteem issues with an unwillingness to relinquish power for someone else to take over personnel decisions.
  9. What's interesting is Rex and Whaley talking about putting fear in defenses by having Goodwin and Listenbee on the field at the same time.
  10. I like him at the weight he is and let him play strong safety. I've read a lot on how the strong safety in todays NFL is often asked to play certain linebacker roles - so to me he's that. I don't see him as a linebacker or edge pass rusher.
  11. Peyton was still reading defenses and controlling the offense even though his arm strength deteriorated. Let's not act like Sanchez can just step right in and they'll be fine - they won't be.
  12. You've been let down by our draft picks? What the heck would make you happy? Our picks have been fantastic.
  13. I just doubt 15 of the 17 picks will be defensive players - I think more very good players will be available than the list you provide in the poll.
  14. I don't know exactly what your post is saying but Whaley said naturally guys add 5-10 lbs once they get on an NFL diet. Sounds like they welcome him getting a little bigger.
  15. I think you'll see Dareus where you have Shaq - he's best at that spot - Kyle where you have Dareus - Barnes/draft pick at the nose and Shaq where you have Lawson.
  16. You're coming from a different angle. I'm not saying Rex drafted Lawson - maybe you are. The GM drafts players with input. I think Rex's input is as valid as anyone in the NFL for defensive players.
  17. Love the pick. Let's not pretend Rex doesn't offer good advice on drafting defensive players.
  18. Love the pic. Let's not act like Rex doesn't have valid opinions on drafting defensive players.
  19. He's shown you the baby and you won't look. His job is to handle the roster. As Astro points out he's done that to an outstanding level.
