  1. Stevie Johnson was great to have during the time when we lacked high end talent. That ship has sailed. Wait until we see the 24 through 28 year old version of Sammy Watkins. What he did in the NFL as a 21 and 22 year old is ridiculous.
  2. Where the ball makes it is where it's spotted in the field of play. Would you want first downs not to count if the ball crosses the line to gain?
  3. You were expecting stardom from a 6th round TE and can't understand why an undrafted player might be better - worth talking about over him?
  4. Stevie was fun to watch and because of his ability to connect with the fans it wasn't hard to have affinity for him. Stevie lacked enough speed to overcome his inability to run great routes. He overcame the lack of physical talent and route running by just relentlessly competing. Stevie is the type of receiver that needs the QB to keep looking his way and give him time to figure out a way to get open vs just being able to get past the DB or burning him by running a great route. The help this team needs can't give Stevie that type of attention and time. For these reasons he wouldn't be a receiver that would have helped this team since drafting Watkins. This team needs a WR to take advantage of the attention Sammy gets, run perfect routes/read the defense and have good hands to keep making the defense pay for devoting too much to Watkins. Then when the defense relaxes on Watkins because he's effective - let Sammy burn them. That's not Stevie! You underestimate our 23 year old star receiver.
  5. That's an obnoxious statement
  6. I would change chains being used for first downs. It seems that an electronic method could be used and speed up the process when chains are brought out onto the field.
  7. Besides Kyle - 2006 was pretty bad. I bought into McCargo proving people wrong.
  8. Depressed? Hardly
  9. Good point. Pick a player from each level of the defense and match em up. Still a goofy exercise (comparing triplets on defense) - at least there's some method of choosing.
  10. The four we'll win in a row of course.
  11. Wow, ok - somehow I missed it.
  12. We should fire our coaching staff and start over.
  13. What the ... that was awesome card magic. I watch the show and didn't see this, must be on an episode that hasn't aired yet. If he can keep this level of stuff up he'll go far - always does on AGT.
  14. Great name for the new tequila in the movie Entourage 2.
  15. Very cool of you to answer.
  16. It has to be that he's just not good enough, right - but darn a 6'4" 247 lb guy running 4.31 - 4.52 40's seems interesting. Great athleticism, good size, work ethic, coachable, student of the game - I gotta see what this is all about. I just found him to be an interesting guy to follow.
  17. I don't believe any team would give up a first round pick for a player in the final year of his contract.
  18. Admittedly I didn't even now he was on our practice squad. After reading the article on BB.com - seems to me like a player to keep an eye on. “He’s a very gifted athlete,” said Bills tight ends coach Tony Sparano Jr. “His speed, his athleticism are there for all to see. But the fact that he’s able to pair that with his work ethic and with being as coachable as he is and being a student of the game that he is, is why I’m a big believer in his ability and his potential.”
  19. Move the better left tackle to right tackle - sign the inferior player to play left because he refuses to play right sounds like a great idea to you?
  20. Respect no doubt. Hand shake, nod of the head sure - ovation, can't do it.
  21. I like this signing actually. Massive human being and has caught eyes other places but just couldn't make the teams.
  22. Aren't you glad we're not one of those teams anymore?
