  1. We're lucky to have you Astro.
  2. I think it proves we haven't cracked the QB code but we've most definitely done good things while not solving the QB issue. The problem is the nah sayers don't like anything we do - they don't like our players - the don't like our coaches - they don't like the front office - they don't like our draft, and they just point to our record. The facts are that we haven't made the playoffs in 16 seasons. What isn't a fact is that we won't before the season starts. A realist isn't someone predicting we won't and being optimistic doesn't mean we will. The point is do we have to beat the negative drum every damn year before it starts? Can we stop attacking fans that think we have a shot this year?
  3. Well here's something to be positive about. Our starting QB is a consummate professional. Taylor reiterated he doesn’t need his agent to keep telling him what is going on with the talks. “There’s no way that my mind could be focused on practice and as soon as I get to my phone after practice, ‘hey, what’s going on. I don’t want to function like that” Taylor told WGR. “If something happens and its serious enough for you to talk to me, then I’ll talk but until then I’m in training camp.”
  4. Whew, you're a negative guy and sometimes it gets tiresome. I am however glad you can at least laugh at it.
  5. I didn't know you had a level of enthusiasm.
  6. I hoped you wouldn't think I was just talking about his rushing? Which has never been is game. He's a pass catching RB that has take it to the house ability every time he touches it. He can contribute on this team and it's a nice move if they make it.
  7. He had a nice 2014 in 11 games and only played in 5 games last year. He gets dinged up for sure but he mixes it up and runs hard. Mild price tag for a vet that's done some good work. I could understand someone maybe not loving it but hating it is difficult.
  8. Thanks. From a pure football perspective, besides last year with the 49ers he's made significant contributions. Why not have a player that can do very similar things as Shady to either spell him for rest to help keep him healthy or be able to keep the same offense installed if Shady were to go down? This would be a very smart professional signing, IMO. Say McCoy tweaks his ankle in the first quarter of game 2 and can't return. I'm feeling a lot better if we have Reggie Bush.
  9. Reggie Bush is one of the most explosive human beings I've ever seen carry a football. The Bills extended an offer if he accepts - lets go - look forward to him contributing.
  10. Very cool right up. I came back home for a visit this summer and went to Riverworks - very nice little spot.
  11. I didn't realize that Bleacher Report was that big of an upgrade to TBN. Do you think you can ever forgive me?
  12. After reading some of your posts, it makes me feel better.
  13. Will you watch most or all of the games?
  14. Pretty good point - every contract seems unbelievable until you see the next one.
  15. I'm speculating that it's a place he doesn't want to be - and suggesting that's their issue.
  16. They're a profitable organization in a business where the model has changed maybe as drastically than any other - so they clearly make good decisions. What you just said has been said multiple times. He has a job because his negativity attracts the angry emotion but people can't stay away. That's fine if that's the angle. I'm saying it's a shame when young talent like Dunne leave after only 1 year - who's spent his entire career (short) as a newspaper guy - to leave for a website gig. Gotta be a problem there beyond just an opportunity for Dunne.
  17. People that say we're the least throwing team in the league are crazy - woods should still find a way to be above average.
  18. Positives: We have a young QB that is intriguing Shady seems healthy, motivated, wants to be a leader and more comfortable being in Buffalo Watching Adolphus and Ragland Woods healthy 2nd year in Romans offense Defensive players seem to be over losing Schwartz (to me it took a toll) and warming up to Rex personally and his defense Vet WR's to choose from and Dez seems focused Aaron Williams is back - I'll cringe on his first hit Bummers: Karlos Watkins foot - hope it's ok Shaq out indefinitely Jon Williams DUI trouble - hope it doesn't effect his year Right side of offensive line could be an issue I'm so ready to watch this team. Unfortunately most of the nah sayers are our own fan base and I wish it was overall more optimistic.
  19. So they can't seem to figure out a way to keep Tyler Dunne but yet are somehow able to keep Jerry Sullivan. Should tell TBN a lot - but it probably doesn't.
  20. Are you serious, you think coaches are for the fans to believe in? All that matters is that the players and FO do and if the players do they have a chance to play well. Why don't you just let it play out before you pretend to know the future? If you would even at this point give Marrone the benefit of the doubt above Rex than there is nothing for us to discuss.
  21. Look I understand what you're saying and I understand what everyone is predicting about Rex. What I don't understand is why posters like you are anticipating failure (certainly your right) and want/hope the owners are on the ready to blow the whole damn thing up before the season has even started. They bought this team less than 2 years ago and want to build stability and send that message throughout the organization. What awful people.
  22. There's examples of continuity working, there's examples of continuity not working - but in most examples it's either great QB's or great defenses that win championships.
