I'm saying it's a shame when young talent like Dunne leave after only 1 year - who's spent his entire career (short) as a newspaper guy - to leave for a website gig. Positives: We have a young QB that is intriguing Shady seems healthy, motivated, wants to be a leader and more comfortable being in Buffalo Watching Adolphus and Ragland Woods healthy 2nd year in Romans offense Defensive players seem to be over losing Schwartz (to me it took a toll) and warming up to Rex personally and his defense Vet WR's to choose from and Dez seems focused Aaron Williams is back - I'll cringe on his first hit Bummers: Karlos Watkins foot - hope it's ok Shaq out indefinitely Jon Williams DUI trouble - hope it doesn't effect his year Right side of offensive line could be an issue I'm so ready to watch this team. Unfortunately most of the nah sayers are our own fan base and I wish it was overall more optimistic.

So they can't seem to figure out a way to keep Tyler Dunne but yet are somehow able to keep Jerry Sullivan. Should tell TBN a lot - but it probably doesn't.

Are you serious, you think coaches are for the fans to believe in? All that matters is that the players and FO do and if the players do they have a chance to play well. Why don't you just let it play out before you pretend to know the future? If you would even at this point give Marrone the benefit of the doubt above Rex than there is nothing for us to discuss.

Look I understand what you're saying and I understand what everyone is predicting about Rex. What I don't understand is why posters like you are anticipating failure (certainly your right) and want/hope the owners are on the ready to blow the whole damn thing up before the season has even started. They bought this team less than 2 years ago and want to build stability and send that message throughout the organization. What awful people.

There's examples of continuity working, there's examples of continuity not working - but in most examples it's either great QB's or great defenses that win championships.

I used other words like bloviate as well as negative. I'll give him credit that his opinions have content and he's excellent at communicating his opinion, however he contradicts himself consistently to then. In the end it's to prove in the end that it's always a problem that exists. I guess if I had to re-do my post I would have focused on that vs negative. For example he said Whaley didn't want Rex, then it's not that Whaley is anti-Rex but he's just resentful because he had to then find players to fit Rex's scheme. They're guesses but he presents them as if he absolutely knows it to be true - but he just so badly wants it to be that Rex isn't the guy. There's a ton more examples of him doing this and it just annoyed me for some reason today. I'm sorry if I'm coming off as an a-hole or cruel.

I'd advise you to stay correctly stood as you often bloviate so much about what you don't know. You're an extremely negative poster and it's so baseless. I get that this is an opinion forum but you spend way too much time trying to convince people you're right about your speculation instead of just offering your thoughts.

I absolutely love the players on this team. The interview from Shady just had me incredibly impressed. He's ready to role. Dareus' interview had the same effect on me. He's focused and seems like he's in a good place. I even thought Gilmore handled himself like a consummate professional. What a terrific group of guys we have. To me blowing things up and starting over with this young team is a tremendously bad thought to even have. The rails would have to completely fall off for me to even consider that to be a good idea.

Whaley sucks at his job

It's not an easy call. If he misses significant games with an injury that could really hurt him financially. Not because of the injury itself but he'll get branded as a running QB that gets hurt - which is absurd by the way. I'm thinking the biggest hurdle for both sides at this point is really the guaranteed money portion.

Can't forget those bloodlines.
