  1. She's successful because she's not being honest about continuity being a core belief?
  2. I used other words like bloviate as well as negative. I'll give him credit that his opinions have content and he's excellent at communicating his opinion, however he contradicts himself consistently to then. In the end it's to prove in the end that it's always a problem that exists. I guess if I had to re-do my post I would have focused on that vs negative. For example he said Whaley didn't want Rex, then it's not that Whaley is anti-Rex but he's just resentful because he had to then find players to fit Rex's scheme. They're guesses but he presents them as if he absolutely knows it to be true - but he just so badly wants it to be that Rex isn't the guy. There's a ton more examples of him doing this and it just annoyed me for some reason today. I'm sorry if I'm coming off as an a-hole or cruel.
  3. I'd advise you to stay correctly stood as you often bloviate so much about what you don't know. You're an extremely negative poster and it's so baseless. I get that this is an opinion forum but you spend way too much time trying to convince people you're right about your speculation instead of just offering your thoughts.
  4. I absolutely love the players on this team. The interview from Shady just had me incredibly impressed. He's ready to role. Dareus' interview had the same effect on me. He's focused and seems like he's in a good place. I even thought Gilmore handled himself like a consummate professional. What a terrific group of guys we have. To me blowing things up and starting over with this young team is a tremendously bad thought to even have. The rails would have to completely fall off for me to even consider that to be a good idea.
  5. Even though the same successful person you speak of says you're wrong?
  6. This is so far from true it's not debatable.
  7. Crap Jay Skurski is reporting Tyrod needs to take steps forward so ....
  8. Whaley sucks at his job
  9. It's not an easy call. If he misses significant games with an injury that could really hurt him financially. Not because of the injury itself but he'll get branded as a running QB that gets hurt - which is absurd by the way. I'm thinking the biggest hurdle for both sides at this point is really the guaranteed money portion.
  10. Can't forget those bloodlines.
  11. Among a couple other things.
  12. Do you think for a backup role only or as the eventual replacement to Romo?
  13. I am but only if the conversation is going like this: If you would like to sign now for 14 million we can do that - if you want 20 million then we've got to see you play more.
  14. What an outstanding young man Tyrod seems to be - makes it even easier to root for him.
  15. Not a ton to talk about - so folks like to just chat about the hypothetical.
  16. Interesting. I wonder how the assistant draws that without anyone from the audience catching it.
  17. I share your opinion but we're just thinking about this year. Is it prudent to look at Foles now as the backup for say the next 3 years vs having to find a better/equivalent one next off season. IMO good backups aren't terribly easy to find - but of course Foles would need to be ok with that role too.
  18. IMO Cardale gets next to nothing this year. He's got a ways to go before any reps need to be dedicated to him. Just saying that wouldn't be a reason to not sign Foles.
  19. Weird reasoning for most teams. Kind of a boring read.
  20. The only reason I would sign him is to be the backup after presumably EJ is gone after this season. I don't think he's a major upgrade but he could certainly be based on what would be available next off season.
  21. Almost like he got coached to do that well, huh?
  22. It's a nice call for sure. If the center picks up the safety blitz then Mario is free.
  23. Ever given a thought to that they would like to limit Shady's load - and bring in a guy that can do very similar things? Not every running back we should sign needs to fit the thunder and lightning model. How about two lightening guys so they can run the same plays. Could prove to be an excellent strategy to keep Shady on the field for all 16 games - possibly beyond.
  24. Which further proves the point that there's too many beach chairs.
