Don't you think/get the feeling there's a little bit of something besides greatness about that whole organization?

Tom Brady is great and I'll say it - type it - whatever. There's something about the guy that just makes me not revere him like the other greats. I guess the easy reason is the division thing but I think it's more than that. I think I tie him into Belichick's attitude, his owners smugness and bloated importance to the game, the cheating things (one involving him). He's great, they're great - I would not stand and applaud any of these people.

But they expect management to only care about how they feel.

Exactly. He creates the hypothetical - takes his position - and if you don't agree you're definitely wrong.

Exactly. Yet players say it's a business when it suits them - but get frustrated when the team is in a difficult spot.

I kind of do blame him because players keep telling us they understand it's a business. Then all we hear is that they're frustrated when they don't have the upper hand. Well I really wish they would pick one.

We've had good lines before and it didn't work out.

Murph is just so blah to me - boring - and never says anything interesting. When he takes calls it's the worst because it's usually prefaced with him saying he wants to get everyone's take on a particular topic - followed by him taking calls and saying either the callers take is correct or wrong, zzzzz. Maybe it's gotten better because it's been a while. Good guy, loves the Bills, but I just cannot listen to him anymore. I listen to Howard's show podcast from the app.

What's glares out to me about this list is the diminished number of great QB and WR combo's.

Good post. Some can't even listen to an interview without translating negativity and at the same time demanding more out of it.

I have two problems with the explanation of the rankings. One is that Roman turned Taylor into a starting QB. The players with a "story" behind their success did it because they had the make up to become a starter. The coordinator certainly helps but the player is either special or isn't IMO. Second that Taylor is a "replacement level veteran". He was a 3rd string unknown relative rookie that when given the chance emerged.

The Ravens are so much smarter than us - that we should look to stay away and do the opposite of our impulse. They would never hire Rex Ryan.

Are you saying you would use the franchise tag on Gilmore? If so what do you do if things get complicated with Tyrod?

No, and that's not what he said? The Bills aren't ugly so why should you have issues with a hard on? The truth doesn't require you to agree in order to be so.

I understand what people are saying but being disengaged on this team right now because of Rex to me is lunacy. Have you seen the list of coaches we've had since Wade? How could anyone be more for those head coaches than Rex - especially when considering our talent? I just can't even understand how it's debatable. Marrone quit our team and you're less embarrassed that you supported him when you did? I think Rex is goofy but I don't understand how anyone could say he's more of a "joke" than what we've had. This is the most intriguing time to be a Bills fan in the last 15 years and I don't see how Rex can totally nullify that.

You must understand that Gilmore may choose to play the season out with little the Bills can do about it - if his numbers are "whoa" that his agent is giving the Bills. It's not just the Bills that are involved here. Gilmore and his agent are keenly aware that the franchise tag is unofficially designated for their situation with Tyrod. They're capitalizing on that and negotiating with that leverage I'm sure. Darby is the leverage the Bills have - albeit not nearly the trump card Gilmore holds with the likelihood of needing that tag as security with Taylor. Keep a close eye on Taylor. If they agree during the season with him - Gilmore's leverage goes to poo poo. Get used to this my friend - because when you draft well - this is going to happen more and more often.

We have the best head coach we've had since 2000 in Wade Phillips who immediately followed Levy and you're disengaged now? We have the best roster of talent since that time as well and people are bailing now? There's a real possibility we have found a QB and this year he may prove that right before our eyes and you're on a wait and see now? We finally have a pro offensive coordinator with loads of offensive talent and you hate our coaching staff now? You were willing to give your support to Williams, Mularkey, Jauron, Gailey and Marrone - but you hate Rex? Our Owner loves Buffalo and kept them here just 2 seasons ago - Whaley - Monos, are you kidding me that you're checked out? There's been times when our optimism was so unrealistic - but this isn't that time. If you don't think this is the year to watch then you just don't grasp what you were grasping at the last 15 years. You should be more embarrassed of how you followed the team in every other year the last 15. Last year the defense was a punch in the gut - suck it up. The offense earned your support - stop whining. I've never been more disappointed in the people down on this team. Discuss the Bills - criticize them of course - give them credit where deserved - but for those that are down you disgust me, seriously. I'm embarrassed of all of you and I hate the way you're acting.

They will but deals like this take a considerable amount of time.

Have to think he's going to have a shot at guard depth only.

That's a tough one - which we knew it would be. It's so difficult to find good corners - it's even more difficult to find one young and with the right height and speed. Corners are in the top 3-4 most important positions on a team, IMO. I think you have to pay him - but it's not an easy pill to swallow.

I'd extend him in a heartbeat - but he's probably looking to get one more shot at a starting job.

Chapman is hardly an idiot.
