  1. Hey watch your mouth - we don't say steals.
  2. Dareus isn't playing the nose. It will be T.J. Barnes and Stefan Charles when we lineup over the center - which won't be a lot. Our D line is going to be a gap penetrating motha.
  3. That was incredibly interesting. Thanks for posting 26Corner.
  4. Hope you enjoy Mario because you're going to be on the field a lot.
  5. It's not logical to bring in a vet and work him out?
  6. I don't see how. Yes you can get Gilmore done because his 5th year option and long term contract aren't far away in terms of money this year. How in the world would they find an extra 15-20 million this year for Tyrod?
  7. I think it's more because Ragland is a rookie and will be asked to have important responsibilities. Also one of the things I read on Ragland is it takes him a while to learn the playbook but once he gets it down he retains. Rex can't spend significant time with one player or a group so I don't think it's about him not being able to communicate his concepts - help is needed to accomplish it.
  8. Yeah. Great point. But why are you comparing their weights when we're not supposed to be comparing them?
  9. He'll have no problem finding work.
  10. I'm not debating any of that. I'm saying comparing him to Goodwin is obvious. He's our current speed threat and they just brought in another one. The conversation surrounding Listenbee vs Goodwin and the possibility of Listenbee taking his role is appropriate.
  11. Ok, I was responding against it being staged and in the worst case scenario so what. What are you saying "no" to?
  12. So. "Hey when I get drafted we'll go nuts". That's still pretty cool.
  13. I agree that his frame is a benefit and he attacks the ball - but the comparisons to Goodwin are pretty obvious and appropriate.
  14. I don't think he'll be a linebacker in the NFL I see him as a hybrid safety. Another poster mention Bryan Scott - that's an excellent comparison. I could certainly be wrong and they see him as a backup for Hughes' position - with added weight as you suggest. He's definitely an interesting player and someone I'll be watching for sure.
  15. Then I don't see him making the team.
  16. Absolutely. There's so much that can be done with the threat of speed. Imagine in that same lineup - Shady goes in motion and lines up in the slot and TT backs up into the shotgun. I'd imagine the defense would be like - what the $#$%. It would remind me of how NE's offense is ran. It's not just routes - it's predetermined plays out of sets that they know can't be defended. Even if the gains are in small chunks it's aggravating to a defense because it's so difficult to deal with.
  17. Are you seriously saying your opinion should be taken as more likely than that of the Bills medical staff?
  18. I agree with this post. He acts like a fan - regretting he didn't do something before it proves necessary to regret it. He's got closet self esteem issues with an unwillingness to relinquish power for someone else to take over personnel decisions.
  19. What's interesting is Rex and Whaley talking about putting fear in defenses by having Goodwin and Listenbee on the field at the same time.
  20. I like him at the weight he is and let him play strong safety. I've read a lot on how the strong safety in todays NFL is often asked to play certain linebacker roles - so to me he's that. I don't see him as a linebacker or edge pass rusher.
  21. Peyton was still reading defenses and controlling the offense even though his arm strength deteriorated. Let's not act like Sanchez can just step right in and they'll be fine - they won't be.
