  1. You're so strong on your opinions of being negative that you gaffe.
  2. When you have a 6 foot tall corner that can run like that you keep him.
  3. And seems like 3 of our rookies are awfully comfortable being future leaders as the vets slowly move on.
  4. The Bills signed the former Houston Texans top overall pick to a $100 million contract this off-season to jump start the team's pass rush. Buffalo recorded zero sacks and managed little pressure on Mark Sanchez outside of a first drive interception. Williams hit Sanchez one time in the game, per Tim Graham of The Buffalo News. "Pass blocking doesn't include hands to the face," concluded Williams. "When someone tells the officials that, and they just walk away, or they don't call it, that is disheartening." On the opposing sideline, Jets offensive lineman Matt Slauson spoke to Toronto Sun reporter John Kryk after the game. Both Slauson and Howard were ecstatic about the offensive line's play, and Slauson shared a change in New York's game plan as the game wore on. "At the start of the game, we were sliding to Austin’s side," Slauson said. "But after a couple of plays, we saw he didn’t need any help. So we just went with normal stuff. Austin did exactly what we expected him to. We expected to not hear his name, or Mario’s name (called over the public address system)."
  5. Hey watch your mouth - we don't say steals.
  6. Dareus isn't playing the nose. It will be T.J. Barnes and Stefan Charles when we lineup over the center - which won't be a lot. Our D line is going to be a gap penetrating motha.
  7. That was incredibly interesting. Thanks for posting 26Corner.
  8. Hope you enjoy Mario because you're going to be on the field a lot.
  9. It's not logical to bring in a vet and work him out?
  10. I don't see how. Yes you can get Gilmore done because his 5th year option and long term contract aren't far away in terms of money this year. How in the world would they find an extra 15-20 million this year for Tyrod?
  11. I think it's more because Ragland is a rookie and will be asked to have important responsibilities. Also one of the things I read on Ragland is it takes him a while to learn the playbook but once he gets it down he retains. Rex can't spend significant time with one player or a group so I don't think it's about him not being able to communicate his concepts - help is needed to accomplish it.
  12. Yeah. Great point. But why are you comparing their weights when we're not supposed to be comparing them?
  13. He'll have no problem finding work.
  14. I'm not debating any of that. I'm saying comparing him to Goodwin is obvious. He's our current speed threat and they just brought in another one. The conversation surrounding Listenbee vs Goodwin and the possibility of Listenbee taking his role is appropriate.
  15. Ok, I was responding against it being staged and in the worst case scenario so what. What are you saying "no" to?
  16. So. "Hey when I get drafted we'll go nuts". That's still pretty cool.
  17. I agree that his frame is a benefit and he attacks the ball - but the comparisons to Goodwin are pretty obvious and appropriate.
  18. I don't think he'll be a linebacker in the NFL I see him as a hybrid safety. Another poster mention Bryan Scott - that's an excellent comparison. I could certainly be wrong and they see him as a backup for Hughes' position - with added weight as you suggest. He's definitely an interesting player and someone I'll be watching for sure.
  19. Then I don't see him making the team.
  20. Absolutely. There's so much that can be done with the threat of speed. Imagine in that same lineup - Shady goes in motion and lines up in the slot and TT backs up into the shotgun. I'd imagine the defense would be like - what the $#$%. It would remind me of how NE's offense is ran. It's not just routes - it's predetermined plays out of sets that they know can't be defended. Even if the gains are in small chunks it's aggravating to a defense because it's so difficult to deal with.
  21. Are you seriously saying your opinion should be taken as more likely than that of the Bills medical staff?
  22. I agree with this post. He acts like a fan - regretting he didn't do something before it proves necessary to regret it. He's got closet self esteem issues with an unwillingness to relinquish power for someone else to take over personnel decisions.
