  1. So much attention gets put on how our defense under performed that we forget how well our offense did with a QB not winning the job until late in the pre-season. If we stay healthy on offense it should be pretty darn good under Roman.
  2. Nucci said nothing that hasn't happened yet can be discussed.
  3. Why don't you just save your worthless comment? If you aren't interested in the topic move on. Not every new post is started to please you.
  4. How do you answer any question that hasn't happen yet? You give your opinion. I don't watch USC much and thought maybe someone that knows their field might have some input, etc. Just a discussion that I thought was worth talking about. Is that ok?
  5. Rich Eisen mentioned that USC has requested no more Rams games after their home games. It was said that their natural grass field gets pretty beat up after a Saturday game and it's difficult to get it ready to play on the next day. - USC hosts Colorado on Saturday, Oct. 8. The Rams will play the Buffalo Bills in the Coliseum the following day. How do you think this will effect the game? Which team do you think this effects more?
  6. I'll preface that I'm not saying these things should or will translate to us being better - but it's a solid theory IMO. Mario was a problem and at one of the most important positions on the field he offered next to nothing. Not only would his poor effort/play effect his personal responsibilities but because he didn't command his normal portion of additional attention from the offense - that side of the defense and the entire defense will be better off. Our core of great players are young - as they continue their development they should get better year by year (Dareus, Watkins, Gilmore, Darby, Glenn - Miller and Karlos honorable mention) Whaley is excellent at drafting. I like the little FA signings that he made. I.E. Hankerson could help and so could Zach Brown Rex has been a good defensive coach - he should get more out of this defense. Most of what was leaked to fans was communication issues - in year 2 with most of the same players this should improve. Like it or not Rob should help with communication. Ed Reed should help our weakness at safety learn in the film room. Roman is a good offensive coach - year two is always reasonable to think things run smoother. The off season should help Carpenter heal and come back to his normal accuracy. More points is always a good thing.
  7. My guess is he doesn't file retirement paperwork and goes somewhere later in the year.
  8. You sure? You sound sure.
  9. It's the followers fault for forming opinions? I think you meant - 2 grown men talking smack so that people will form an opinion about them is stupid.
  10. Yes, and he'll have to sign somewhere else for a year before they'll consider bringing him back.
  11. Good point and I agree.
  12. They only did this to increase their less than a million per year player base.
  13. Few Americans are obsessed with guns as death machines. Most have them to protect themselves against them.
  14. Once again you prove you can't read well.
  15. The Bills aren't giving up a 3rd round pick for a backup QB who's contract is expiring.
  16. I think it's absurd that my neighborhood homeowners does not allow our garbage cans to be visible from the road or we get fined. However until we get it changed I have to adhere to the statute in the bylaws.
  17. He always seemed like a pretty decent kid to me. It's obvious he's a hard worker too - so he's not the lazy bum kind. I'm shocked that he couldn't overcome this and stay straight.
  18. I have read your posts. I'm saying we just don't know to what level Whaley was either for or against Rex being hired. I don't think the word for the Rex hiring was peculiar but him reporting to the owner certainly is.
  19. Ok, so long as you're ok with Whaley getting credit for Roman and the #1 rushing team in the NFL.
  20. But you'll never know the extent of Whaley's approval or disapproval of Ryan - so how can you judge that he should have been "more strenuous"? You're linking his longevity to that decision with no knowledge of that possibility.
  21. I'd say Nix was a part of Whaley's development so Nix deserves credit for beginning the talent overhaul of the Bills at the same time grooming our next GM. Whaley deserves a lot of credit working his way up. http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2013/5/14/4328444/doug-whaley-bills-general-manger-buddy-nix Now Whaley has come into his own and is very well respected. We're lucky to have one of the young great minds in the NFL.
