  1. I think the difference in accuracy is a huge number. I think that's a foundation that can be built upon to separate him.
  2. Of course I'm all for issuing bad contracts - you can't have a winning team without them.
  3. I guess not in that regard. But knees aren't looked at as a mandate by the league for player protection. To me you're mixing player and team protection and it just seems like they don't go together to me. This CTE thing should be about players only - period. I could give a rats a$$ about a team losing out on performance/money paid out because the player has it.
  4. Why do you have to insult? I just think your contradicting yourself. You want the team and the player to be protected against CTE. You don't see the weakness in that?
  5. Then why does it have to be before signing a player to a long term contract? If regular testing was done then testing prior to a long term contract would or could be exclusive. Regular testing might be better but ejections for dangerous hits is also something positive. Why are you trying to mutually exclude them?
  6. I'd like to point out that he'd also be under contract for 2 more years had he gone to Denver instead of 1 by coming to Buffalo.
  7. I can't figure out what you're saying. You want teams to test players before signing them to long term contracts because if they have CTE it will effect their play. Then say your angle is to protect players.
  8. What a ridiculous an uninformed post. They signed him to a 3 year deal that had pay escalators tied into playing time for 2015 - the Bills also doubled down by allowing his 2015 play time to escalate his 2016 salary. Then they tripled down and if his 2015 play time hit certain levels his 3rd year could be voided allowing him to become a free agent - knowing full well it would give him the freedom to get a big payday a year earlier. The Bills have made good on their end and Taylor earned the maximum out of his contract. It was a Tyrod friendly contract and he should be extremely thankful.
  9. Additionally they already signed him to an extremely player friendly deal last year. If you play a certain percentage (win the starting job), the 3rd year is void and you become a free agent after the second. The Bills gave Tyrod the opportunity to be in this position - yet they're not doing right by him? (not saying you said that). The national media is so uninformed it's embarrassing. Problem is no one outside of the market they're talking about knows - so it just goes on and on and on.
  10. Let's link up next year. I come across tickets pretty consistently. I don't like the Panthers but it was nice to see the fan base come together this year. It's a totally different experience. It's not like going to a game in Buffalo where the energy and craziness is felt - it's more of just a cool evening out.
  11. Not sure how long it's been since you've visited Charlotte but I'll have to disagree with you. I went twice last year - we tailgated very well and had plenty of space. Things have changed and if people want to congregate the people figure it out and the area tends to accommodate. As you said parking is $20-$30 as you get closer to the stadium. We were in the Charlotte Observer parking lot and it was excellent. 4 Tents together, grilled, corn hole, etc.
  12. You don't think Nix and Whaley not only overhauled our team that was totally void of talent but built a very respectable team? Their job is to scout players and build the roster - they've done that. I'm with you on the coaching issues but to say things haven't been done in a serious way is a stretch IMO. Whaley has a very long list of accomplishments and has built a fantastic roster on paper (his part). It's the coaches job to take that fantastic roster (on paper) and win with it. I'm with you on that part.
  13. Where have you been? The seriousness of this program changed a while ago.
  14. I think it's possible Tyrod gets better and so does the defense.
  15. Great point. As we've been told many times - believe nothing that is said this time of year.
  16. And you sent this from your time warner wifi on your verizon wireless iphone or PC/Laptop using windows explorer - I hate rich people all they do is provide every product I use and conveniently deliver entertainment that I enjoy.
  17. Yeah you clearly have it together. There's no help for you so looks like my anger is here to stay. The NFL doesn't want people like you that are too broke to pay the ticket prices to come to the games. They're not interested in keeping you engaged in the league, it's passed your pocket book by. There's cheaper alternatives for people like you - that need to borrow money from your parents to pay your rent.
  18. I'm smart enough to prepare myself to do so. I don't expect the world to financially stand still for me like you do.
  19. You're just not smart enough to see what's happening around you.
  20. Yet you're ok that they are Cowboys fans born in Ohio.
  21. Guess Alphadawg was right - NFL hasn't had to force anyone yet
