  1. Plus he wouldn't have hit his contract escalators that got him out of his 3rd year - that's even if the Broncos would have agreed to be as gracious as we were.
  2. It would surprise me if they drafted any of the players they've brought in for a visit thus far.
  3. Just think it's probably more harmless pride than braggadocious ..... but I get what you mean, it's kinda silly either way.
  4. It is a fact and it's something he's proud of. I don't see too much wrong with it.
  5. Looks like he can play the inside pretty well to from some stuff I've looked at. http://www.nfl.com/videos/tennessee-titans/0ap2000000214912/All-22-Zach-Brown-takedowns
  6. I haven't felt this good about a QB for the Bills since Bledsoe signed. He's good and he's got a legit shot at being very good. Very easy young man to root for - and the website is very well done.
  7. Thank you, excellent read. Brown seems like a fantastic athlete that can "do anything".
  8. We're fortunate to have Whaley. It's so obvious that he and his scouts are on top of their game. It's not hard to imagine them looking back at their draft scouting notes on players currently in the NFL and evaluating their status. When we have brought in players and didn't sign them - I'm ultra comfortable with their decisions.
  9. You only keep him if he beats out the other WR's that come to camp - if he does that I'm good with it - if he gets beat out, bye.
  10. Isn't an April Fools prank supposed to be a "wow" type of joke?
  11. Kaep has his problems and needs an experienced coordinator - but that team was a hot mess last year. I mean Tomsula got fired after one year - not exactly the situation a QB can thrive in. One of if not the worst rosters in all of the NFL.
  12. I think the difference in accuracy is a huge number. I think that's a foundation that can be built upon to separate him.
  13. Of course I'm all for issuing bad contracts - you can't have a winning team without them.
  14. I guess not in that regard. But knees aren't looked at as a mandate by the league for player protection. To me you're mixing player and team protection and it just seems like they don't go together to me. This CTE thing should be about players only - period. I could give a rats a$$ about a team losing out on performance/money paid out because the player has it.
  15. Why do you have to insult? I just think your contradicting yourself. You want the team and the player to be protected against CTE. You don't see the weakness in that?
  16. Then why does it have to be before signing a player to a long term contract? If regular testing was done then testing prior to a long term contract would or could be exclusive. Regular testing might be better but ejections for dangerous hits is also something positive. Why are you trying to mutually exclude them?
  17. I'd like to point out that he'd also be under contract for 2 more years had he gone to Denver instead of 1 by coming to Buffalo.
  18. I can't figure out what you're saying. You want teams to test players before signing them to long term contracts because if they have CTE it will effect their play. Then say your angle is to protect players.
  19. What a ridiculous an uninformed post. They signed him to a 3 year deal that had pay escalators tied into playing time for 2015 - the Bills also doubled down by allowing his 2015 play time to escalate his 2016 salary. Then they tripled down and if his 2015 play time hit certain levels his 3rd year could be voided allowing him to become a free agent - knowing full well it would give him the freedom to get a big payday a year earlier. The Bills have made good on their end and Taylor earned the maximum out of his contract. It was a Tyrod friendly contract and he should be extremely thankful.
  20. Additionally they already signed him to an extremely player friendly deal last year. If you play a certain percentage (win the starting job), the 3rd year is void and you become a free agent after the second. The Bills gave Tyrod the opportunity to be in this position - yet they're not doing right by him? (not saying you said that). The national media is so uninformed it's embarrassing. Problem is no one outside of the market they're talking about knows - so it just goes on and on and on.
  21. Let's link up next year. I come across tickets pretty consistently. I don't like the Panthers but it was nice to see the fan base come together this year. It's a totally different experience. It's not like going to a game in Buffalo where the energy and craziness is felt - it's more of just a cool evening out.
