  1. There's something about taking helmets off at practice and tackling so big guys fall on each others head - that doesn't scream adapting to make the game safer.
  2. I like you as a person but your posts confuse the crap out of me.
  3. Yet on the WGR poll 89% of our fans have us outside the top 5 - 52% outside of the top 10 - 16% outside the top 15 (crazy). Proves we don't believe in our own players - they call themselves realists. We're still a resilient bunch and our support in terms of ticket sales is a testament. However I've never sensed more negativity since I've been a fan than this off season - when IMO this may be the most reasonable time to be excited than any other the last 16 years. C'mon fellow bretheren - dust yourself off and get excited about this team.
  4. God forbid a 2nd year player humble enough to say he struggled and is working hard to get better.
  5. I wouldn't trade Taylor for Tennehill - so I think he is too.
  6. He's small for an LB but there's examples that players his size have had very nice NFL careers. Vilma, Cato, Brackett and Sims come to mind. Football is a game where desire can sometimes outweigh physical attributes - there's no doubt this guy is a motivated player with a big chip.
  7. I think Reggie is going to catch a significant amount of balls. It wouldn't surprise me if it was 30 or more. He's got huge 11" hands and still showed plenty of burst in Detroit - I think how NE used Dion Lewis is what I'd like to see. I can envision him running that wheel route right now.
  8. I'm so anticipating this season and it starts with one thing - Tyrod Taylor. Talk about "having a feeling" - I think this young man gets it done this year and grows considerably. I'm so excited about his upside that the defense being excellent pales in comparison. I guess what I'm trying to say is, when I think about the defense possibly being dominant - I say wow, Tyrod with a dominant defense - watch out.
  9. I really do too 3rd. Just hearing the players talk - they seem way more comfortable with him and are ready to implement his system. He's a real good defensive coach and I'd have a hard time thinking it doesn't play well with the talent on it. I know there's some question marks - but a good plan with buy in, goes a long way to shoring those up.
  10. The Kim Jones interview to me was slow torture. Listening to Murph have to pretend she knows the team and coaching staff better than he or the listeners do was a tough listen. The Jets defense looks better - the Bills look better. Oh man. Maybe she's got something for the NFL Network show more interesting.
  11. Spent a lot of time alone, huh?
  12. Especially if we're 2-0
  13. We're lucky to have you Astro.
  14. I think it proves we haven't cracked the QB code but we've most definitely done good things while not solving the QB issue. The problem is the nah sayers don't like anything we do - they don't like our players - the don't like our coaches - they don't like the front office - they don't like our draft, and they just point to our record. The facts are that we haven't made the playoffs in 16 seasons. What isn't a fact is that we won't before the season starts. A realist isn't someone predicting we won't and being optimistic doesn't mean we will. The point is do we have to beat the negative drum every damn year before it starts? Can we stop attacking fans that think we have a shot this year?
  15. Well here's something to be positive about. Our starting QB is a consummate professional. Taylor reiterated he doesn’t need his agent to keep telling him what is going on with the talks. “There’s no way that my mind could be focused on practice and as soon as I get to my phone after practice, ‘hey, what’s going on. I don’t want to function like that” Taylor told WGR. “If something happens and its serious enough for you to talk to me, then I’ll talk but until then I’m in training camp.”
  16. Whew, you're a negative guy and sometimes it gets tiresome. I am however glad you can at least laugh at it.
  17. I didn't know you had a level of enthusiasm.
  18. I hoped you wouldn't think I was just talking about his rushing? Which has never been is game. He's a pass catching RB that has take it to the house ability every time he touches it. He can contribute on this team and it's a nice move if they make it.
  19. He had a nice 2014 in 11 games and only played in 5 games last year. He gets dinged up for sure but he mixes it up and runs hard. Mild price tag for a vet that's done some good work. I could understand someone maybe not loving it but hating it is difficult.
  20. Thanks. From a pure football perspective, besides last year with the 49ers he's made significant contributions. Why not have a player that can do very similar things as Shady to either spell him for rest to help keep him healthy or be able to keep the same offense installed if Shady were to go down? This would be a very smart professional signing, IMO. Say McCoy tweaks his ankle in the first quarter of game 2 and can't return. I'm feeling a lot better if we have Reggie Bush.
  21. Reggie Bush is one of the most explosive human beings I've ever seen carry a football. The Bills extended an offer if he accepts - lets go - look forward to him contributing.
  22. Very cool right up. I came back home for a visit this summer and went to Riverworks - very nice little spot.
