For about 28 years of my life I watched ESPN in some capacity on a daily basis. The last several years - I watch something maybe once per Month. It's just not what it once was - and is too much of what it shouldn't be.

If you feel the need to anger a portion of Americans to bring attention to a problem in America - that in totality didn't cause/support the problem. I think you at least have to acknowledge you bothered/angered people that didn't deserve it.

At 6'5" and over 290 lbs. - is he an OLB at that size? Seems like DL in Rex's defense. What's interesting is he's nearly identical in size to Mario who seemed a fish out of water. Admittedly I have no idea how he was used in Rex's Jets defense - guess I'll have to spend time looking at that.

On this we agree. I have a big heart for the black community and I wish I had the power to fix it. I hate thinking about any person feeling hopeless - as I sit in my very comfortable life. The crappiest part is it's not hopeless - but the mindset of these communities is one nightmare to try and fix. This issue is so daunting it's depressing.

I saw your post before it got deleted. I'm guessing because of the insults within it. There's no need to go there to have a discussion. Look, all I'm saying is there's people hurting in these areas that appreciate and want the presence of law enforcement. They just want to live in relative safety and peace. I don't think it's fair to them or the police to say they just want to oppress black people. I mean I get it there's people in Orchard Park selling dope and smoking it - and it's probably easier for them to get away with it but the answer isn't leave other areas and head to Orchard Park so that it's proportionate.

Exactly - so if it's equal it just means more whites and asian's in jail. How does that help black people? I did study it. How do you know who's voting - if they don't show identification? How would you know the total of people fraudulently voting when we don't check ID's everywhere? I'm willing to admit there's BS on both sides of this issue. To say it's absolutely for oppression purposes only is naive.

You don't know that - it's just your opinion. That may have been a consequence but it was designed so that only citizens voted - people couldn't vote more than once - stop people that were deceased from still voting.

That's no oppression - it's enforcing the law. Now if you think the law is only getting enforced to blacks and latino's - then the fix is to equally enforce those same laws in white, asian, etc communities. You're not suggesting stop enforcing the laws on certain groups because it's disproportionate, are you?

I don't think everyone agrees now or then that it was the right thing to do. It's what he did and he eventually got some respect for doing it - possibly because he was a great athlete.

I think it's just one of those things that as a coach you know the player wants to play a couple series and you want him to also - he got hit hard once - and then you just say damnit, I didn't want to see that happen - even though the possibility exists. Not a big deal to me.
