I don't think he was humbled and I wouldn't want him to be. He's pissed and he knows he's a better coach than that. He's got his fingerprints on everything now - let's see how it goes. I'm hopeful we'll be pretty good. I think without the injuries/suspension we were poised to be a major major problem for teams
Of course, but what will the nah sayers do if the defense plays well but we go 8-8 because Tyrod didn't take a step forward? They will have Rex's head.
I've noticed it. I think the fans that hate him will no matter what.
I think he was doing what he thought the fans wanted. Talk big and bloviate. Then he realized that's not really him to that extent. He already started calming down in NY.
He's a good coach. Defensively sound and now has some good years of experience. Depending on how Tyrod does will depend on how he'll be graded.
Oh I'm sure we can think of some examples - but without having the knowledge of why they did it - it's pretending to be smarter. Unless a fan can tell us all how Manny was doing in the classroom, each practice or what other plans they have that could involve that persons salary, etc is a wild guess.
I could understand saying - that doesn't make sense to me or it surprised me because he seemed like a fit, ok. However to say they're stupid and inept for doing this without 90% of the information is kinda crazy.
I think Denver is the obvious and should be the choice. However I don't think it's outside of possibility that they struggle. Bad QB play can derail things in a hurry. I don't think they'll be terrible either way because their roster is solid - but there's a chance they can be edged out by a game by the Bills and/or Vikings.
I really believe we're going to be a competitive team. What the record shakes out to be is largely IMO on Tyrod, pass rush and our O line. As Tyrod grows we'll have a chance to make the playoffs on a yearly basis.
I'm not trying to start trouble but it was a mod that decided it was out of hand - but only to those that he personally disagreed with. I honestly believe that was the only issue in the thread. It fired up a lot of people because they feel he over used his power. JMO.
I remember when they started calling themselves the "world wide leader in sports". I used to be like, darn right this is my go to channel.
Then they started getting a little goofy with the visual effects and stuff but it the content was still there. Then it became an entertainment show but still had some cool stuff - especially some very inventive commercials.
Now it's just wacky. I mean Dan Lebatard's dad - yikes. However honestly I don't know what it's like now - because I just don't view anything other than if they have a game on I want to watch.
